Hi everyone! I was planning on making a run with the game Whirlo or Sandra no Daibouken in japanese. The game came out in Japan 60fps and Europe 50fps. Most of the text is never seen except the endning screens. I've heard a long time ago that japanese versions rarily gets accepted if there is a english version to it. But this is a platformer and 50fps is slower. Would want to know what you guys say before I start to much serious recordings. Thanks!

The engine is not really the same with the movements and jumping, like soulrivers said. But it sure looks interesting cause it's 2 - player. =)

There is a (E) Rom but no (U). Yea I think I saw some more frame precisions to, but I really liked the movie anyway. The game is so different and cool from all other platform games so I really don't think the time should be so much to nag about.

Well I must agree with all of you, this run was just so amazing. I was at my girlfriends place, and she knows that I'm TASing but doesn't understand why :P Then I wanted to show her I run, and I havn't watched it for myself, and I just laughed and smiled over the whole run and really really enjoyed myself, and my girlfriend too really liked it and it was her first run to watch :D So JXQ you really are something special! Keep up the good work!

I would really like to see the Fire Red version of Pokémon! Mario why not, I think that there can be original games and new versions TAS. I suggest we go for it!

Yea sword lv2 is very needed I think, and the glitch is really good cause you don't have to level up other weapons as much as you only running and cutting through with the sword mostly and the others just spamming magic. But which weapons do you think you're going to go with for the most? is the spear really that important when you must switch btw axe and whip much.. You have any idea of that question so far?

Dammit thats annoying I have the right emu, rom and settings but the game much like Mario Kart crashes within the opening credits of the game and I have no idea whats causing it to happen.
I think it's your sound that can't be playing maybe, I have the same problem with my laptop, I can't play emulator sound, only direct sound. The sound effects are lamer but it's better then nothing so you can watch or record own movies. I really liked this movie! I myself working to improve the current Magical Quest starring Mickey Mouse that Nitsuja has the record of right now. More then half the game is completed and it looks good so far ;) I wote Yes!

hehe. No shit about the desync :P Nothing says that I'm going to finnish the run but nice to know what people think about this sorts of question. Gorash, I'm just wondering how you made your run with 3player controlling more with the technical? :) using just your keyboard etc.

Well, looks like there were some whining about doing a (J) run so I'm gonna do a (U) run... But I do agree that it should be a rule or for the best, no diffrent at all, fastest run, least frames and no complaining :S That's my opinion anyway.

Sounds like we have a 50-50 argumentation here. I will see what I'm going to do, but my test will be (U) for now using the character names from my own "SoM based" game. But if I'm going to do a complete I still want to do (J) to keep everything original like the names and stuff.

Is there anyone that is serious making a TAS of SoM (SD2) right now!? I planing on do a test on it to see if I'm capable to do it. Just want to give credit to Seiken for the amazing Speedrun video of it! I have watched it a couple of time now and I'm impressed that you could make it in that few segments because of the bad hit glitches that is in the game.
