I wanted to find out how they did it. I think I found a link here through GameFAQs or something at the time and I was like "Whoa, they had more of these?! This is awesome!" and I joined. It was sometime around the end of this month five years ago. Then I ended up joining the forums when I realized there was one. I have to admit, this is one of the only sites that I go to that just hasn't lost its magic. I still love watching TASes as much as I did five years ago.

I think I agree with the keeping around "historically-significant" TASes. Heck, maybe a section made visible would even be a nice add-on to the list of movies. It's not something I've done often, but I've gone back and downloaded some old TASes before to show friends and just watch for enjoyment.

Got 'em all, most of them right away. I had to think a little more mostly on 8, as I haven't really played that one enough.

You just seem to pop up in places I wouldn't expect or think of you to pop up at, I guess. At least to me, I dunno. o.o Not that it's a bad thing mind you. I think it's 100% awesome.

I think Bisqwit also has a way of sneaking into places where you least expect him. I vote that Bisqwit should become a professional ninja.

I'd say bring it to Maine, but there's probably a thousand reasons why a meet wouldn't meet in my home state. Ah well.

It's definitely not going to be until probably around the 5th of May that I start this run. I have too much on my plate as far as final papers and stuff go and I need to get them all done. Interesting finds though. I'll probably mess around some with the Intro stage myself once I get started to see if I can catch anything else.

I think you're thinking Mortal Kombat Trilogy, minglw. In the SNES UMK3, they added Brutalities to make up for the fact that they took out Animalities. Normally I'd say that it sucks they took out the Animalities, but I actually like the SNES UMK3 better for it because they did.

I'll take a look for that too if the program that I found doesn't work. Also, on a general note, I did ask before about the Metroid "NARPAS SWORD" code. Anyone care if I use it and credit the site or the person who posted it?

I know that there's a number of unused sprites in the game too, such as a robotic version of the Pig Cop, some map screen enemies, and some other miscellany knick-knacks hanging around the game. Would I be able to see those too?

I don't know how BUILD works (because I don't know how to work with it), but I guess it could. I'm kind of hoping there's something Tile Layer Pro-ish out there. I have a site I can check, so searching shouldn't really be a problem.

Better late than never on this, I suppose. Heh! I did actually put up a PC section. I never thought to include it until you said it, so maybe I can find a way now to poke through the Duke Nukem 3D art files. Thanks, Highness! Also, I got permission to post this awesome little gem up on the site. Also, I got the OK from gocha to make mention of an unused tune in Ninja Five-O.

I got to thinking about this game again a little bit. At first, I had the idea to do a Dee Jay run, but it would probably look like my YouTube vid there with a few more cooler combos in, and it didn't seem like a good idea for the site to have sixteen possible different runs for this game, one with each character. So I had the idea of going into Tournament Mode and doing a kind of doing some tool-assisted tomfoolery, for a couple of reasons. 1.) Eight players! One tournament could show off half of the entire game's roster easily. Therefore, there's eight different characters to mess around with and show things off with. I could probably pull a "one person controls two characters" deal for each match, so it would leave me complete leeway to do as I please. 2.) There is a small goal. The "goal" is for one of the eight people to win the tournament, but so long as I don't say who, I can make the entertainment value be "who's gonna win the tournament?" and really play on that throughout the whole tourney. If I decide to pull this off, I can take requests for characters, so...whatcha think? Any other ideas as well?

I know, Bisqwit, I don't have a website of my own to host my images, and I use Photobucket quite often, so unless they pull a fast one for some reason and delete my account, that problem shouldn't occur. And BoMF, good job with that one. :p

Alright. I'll hope that I can get some fairly good luck manipulation then on both of them. Either that, or learn to use a hex editor pretty quickly. I also put down the frame improvements on my notes section of my Debug Modes/Unused Stuff wiki, so I can access them whenever I need to and save space on my laptop.

Wow! A possible way of making Fester's Quest interesting. I'll be sure to take a look at the boss glitches once any of your WIPs reach that point.

So were there a lot of problems insofar as lag and manipulation, dezbeast? I've not really tried to do luck manipulation on this game before (and I'm sure there's a few tricks here and there I can look at in the Tricks page), but I was curious about any unforeseen problems.

Here's a couple of me! See, it's a little-known fact around here that I am a poet. Some time ago, I entered a campus-wide competition called the Steve Grady Competition for Creative Writing. I won second place in it, so I got to read my works at the New Writing Series. Here's a couple of me involving them. They needed a profile pic of me, so here I am. Whoo! Me with one of my books. Yes, I sell poetry books. Didn't sell any here though. Didn't do the sales pitch.

So, I did enjoy your run, dezbeast, good job! I think, if nobody minds, when I get some time in May here, I'd like to claim the run to see if I can tighten things up. I thought I could see a few places of improvement, and I'd like to be able to tighten it up. The planning period, however, can start now, and if I get a really free day between now and the end of school, I could probably start on the intro stage. So let's talk possible improvements, shall we? *Throws hat into the arena!*

I do know of a few scattered songs of Elton John's before the 80s. I think Crocodile Rock was one of them, yes? Recommend me a few good ones and I'll give 'em a listen next time I'm using YouTube for a jukebox.
