I just tried that and it didn't work. What I am talking about is like when you play FFTA or Pokemon, how you can go to the game's menu and save (without pressing shift+F1 or going to the emulator menu). Because I can't play the more challenging and more entertaining parts of the game after the credits with the Shift+F1 method. Like I said, one some GBA games it makes mention of a 1 Meg upgrade, on others it just says "save failed". Thanks again for any replies. And thanks for the advice. EDIT: Currently I am playing Pokemon mystery dungeon red and can't save at the save locations because of it saying "save failed."

Ok, when I play regular Game Boy and Game Boy Color games, I can go to the menu in the game and save, and the next time I open up VBA and the rom, I can go to the opening menu and select to play the same game, meaning no use of Shift+F1. But I can't do this with GBA roms. It says I need a 1 Meg upgrade. So... 1. Where can I find this upgrade, how much does it cost, and how do I install it in my PC? 2. Can I find this upgrade on the internet and download it?? 3. Is there another GBA emulator where I can save my data like I am playing a regular GBA and what is it?? Thanks for any help.
