Damn, the quota's exceded. Could someone upload the run to a limitless service please ? I'd be very thankful.

if beginners can't find the FAQ page, how do you plan to make them spot the new section ?

This was very good. At 8:56 it seems your Akuma is missing a fireball : is it intentional ? The constant teleporting against Blanka was fun and some combos were dreadful (Ryu). The restless style againt Zangieff looked great. The waiting againt Chun Li was a bit boring. Also, there were too many throws overall, especially against Gouki. I enjoyed the video. Nice work SDR.

How come the site has been down for me since the moving, up until today ? DNS took 4 friggin' days to propagate ? Has it been down ? I'm quite sure lot of the site's audience had the same problem, and will come back shortly. Hey, glad to see you back guys.

It's good, but I believe it does not cheat with death enough. Enemies are sometimes avoided by a range wider than necessary. Could it be reduced to the minimum ?

adelikat, could you publish the full staff list, including moderators, and sticky it ? Shouldn't the "About" page of the site have it as well ?

I was a fan of those in the 80s. Couldn't you turn it into a simple html site ? Easy to read & bookmark, harder to cheat.

Actually, with QuickBasic you can compile it into an .exe, and then probably turn it into a .scr...

nineko, what that guy must say, may be related to the rule that says "don't get caught uneducated", which you just did. It is nothing personal, actually the run is good and entertaining, but it could be faster. I'm betting that any TASer submitting a run with the truck would be faster, and probably replace your run. Still, as of now, it's the fastest ever submitted, so it should be publishable. What do the judges say ? Let's hear them out.

Just a wild guess, but maybe the letters must be uppercase ? 2EC123 ?

Dude, that was epic. Haven't had so many "wtf/nooo?" moments since a while. That's what every TAS should be. Great work about planification. This could be published in the "demo" section of the site, if the admins agree.

After watching this run, I can say it's a marginal improvement both in speed and style. Autoscrollers bored me to death as well, but they always do anyway. I guess this is as good as an SMB3 run gets.

Nice moments but still a no.
Are you sure you didn't forget that the question got changed? :)
Yes, I'm sure. Like you say, I felt no improvement. 6 years ago I would have said "How do they do ? This Morimoto is incredible !" But now I know, and the movie looks the same. Actually, I would enjoy a warpless movie a lot more, with the same quality for the non autoscrolling parts. They show the speed, but here they're not significant enough.

It fits mine, thanks andymac. Nice moments but still a no. Autoscrollers bored me, had to skip them after a while. Maybe if it was possible to never break combo, but for the moment, they killed the interest for me.

Short, but interesting. I would want to see the full TAS. Please continue.

Isn't it some kind of local Ranma 1/2 joke ? Have you seen it outside ?

It is pitch dark. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.
> what is a grue?
The grue is a sinister, lurking presence in the dark places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

dude, great wtf factor. I'll go with XK and confirm that your code has a great unmaintenability factor, like this kind of wtf. Very high magic numbers per line of code ratio. Please do not proceed the same at work, for your colleagues sanity.

it depends. if the emulator runs at 60fps, that's 60 frames per second. so if the frame count is 216000, that's 60 minutes x 60 seconds x 60 frames = exactly 1h. check the emulator pages to get the real speeds.

You're a procrastinator, which is highly common among geeks. You lack self-confidence just like all young (pre)adults. Get yourself a job, more friends and a gf. Build yourself the social life you want, and make a parenthesis from computers : they should be a hobby, not your main activity. You'll soon find yourself busy enough. A simple start is to start playing vg only with real, local friends, then going out with them, etc. You seem to have a strong personality, you'll find ideas without any problem. Good luck.

Where I work, some of my colleagues still use ED on a daily basis. Talk about IDEs... //edit: Thanks Warp. Somehow did not work last time.

I don't know how, but you can simply view the movie frame by frame while displaying the input, to observe causes and consequences.
