Ahh, I guess you couldn't get the hovers down :[ good job though ^^. If anyone is wondering about the Ganonless TAS I did, Bloob and I are re-doing it, skipping rupees saved 116 frames, way more than I expected.

improvements (like the 120 Stars run had/has), but this situation, in my opinion, isn't exception-worthy. Voted "meh" in favor of improvement. Thanks for the entertaining run though!
Understandable, i'm currently redoing a decent amount of the run now, which won't collect a single unnecessary rupee, woo! But you should try Cuccos yourself and maybe you will see why a run with Cuccos will never be done again unless it has to collect those rupees.

Yes, great TAS by Sam! I love the category. Although we found yesterday that bottle probably isn't needed. If you time it right you should be able to get downA, hover up and use the trade item to unfreeze the trade timer. Here is an unoptimised video of how much time you have: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ShXzEK5QIQ (look at the timer, not the video time. I noticed too late that PJ64 2.0 runs too fast)
If anyone is wondering about this AFAIK this trick requires you to be swordless, so it would be significantly slower than getting the bottle and you also wouldn't be able to pause the timer in the boss room which by itself may make this impossible to use. EDIT : I just discovered a way to do the wrong warp without using the bottle meaning I will be redoing large amount of my TAS. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ioucOJyRRe8

Too lazy to read any pages. Why did you equip bombchus as child and not use them? Why did you collect rupees in Kokiri Forest and then get the BotW chest? While this was pretty entertaining, it seems poorly planned. Probably gonna vote no.
If you're not going to bother to read anything i'm not going to bother to give you an answer, I didn't answer the second one though that was simply a stupid mistake I couldn't fix due to manipulation.
Yet you answered me anyway, thanks for being cool. :^)
I figured that part would need an answer seeing as nobody had even noticed it before :P -------- PLEASE READ - I HAVE DISCOVERED A METHOD OF SKIPPING THE BOTTLE IN THIS TAS MEANING I WILL BE REDOING A LARGE AMOUNT. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ioucOJyRRe8 --------

I love the category and would normally be in full support of this being published as a Moon, but the fact that it contains extraneous rupee collection because a different run's input was used when it was still considered a test makes me hesitate. It's kind of a crappy situation, because I empathize with Sam completely and wouldn't ask em to do it over, but I'm still not sure we should be publishing runs that have entire unnecessary sections. I'm sad that it doesn't have enough support for it to be very likely that it gets remade, but, eh, that's life. And I hope someone proves me wrong :)
The extra rupees really aren't as big of a deal as everyone is making out it adds a grand total of around 39 frames (slightly over a second not sure if all movies use 3 input frames, sorry if this is obvious) onto the movie all of the ones in the river would be collected anyway, hardly worth redoing the whole Cucco section for (which I would probably lose that time on due to Grunz' being ridiculously good.)

Your definition of "recently" is twisted, but I still expect to be very entertained. That said, I think this has a low chance of being published, due to notability.
I compared to Swordless MST TAS, so I meant it as in after that run was submit.

Nice cutting out the context to my reasoning in my first post. I really feel like this branch is like 16 star or 1 star is for SM64, I am not against branches in general, but this one feels like it's been out-dated, if the current any% TASes had been here I would have voted yes. Also I think that many of the things seen here will be seen in a future MST or 100% TAS as well, meaning that the remaining tricks that will be seen mainly in this branch gets a lower count. If I am wrong on this, I will change my vote.
Yes an All Dungeon TAS may use the Eyeball Frog trick if it ever gets done but not in Fire Temple, it would instead be used in the Deku Tree. Similar concept though. A 100% TAS will probably never get done I tried to start one as hard as I could but it just does not work, at least until Bizhawk is easier to use with OoT. Besides as far as I've been able to tell from these comments the vote isn't for whether or not you want the run published it's for if you found it entertaining which you said you did, please correct me if i'm wrong however.

Hey, there are a few little things that I feel could be improved for TASing OoT, the first is that you are required to use the 3 input frames in this game to do some tricks, so maybe you could make it so you can set how many frames the inputs stay for? And secondly it's just a little change but it would be nice if you could make it so that when you press a direction on the stick it resets back to the neutral position afterwards. For example if I want to select the A button for 3 frames and then want to quickly cancel by tapping the a button on my keyboard. Sorry if this seems a little rushed i'm really tired x.x Thanks!

FWIW, I think if you use MrGrunz' input until after bottle collection is done, he should be listed as a co-author. But I'd be willing to go either way on this one.
If he wants co-author he can have it, although I doubt he would be interested.

Entertaining, but not publish worthy, as the current route is better. And as has been previously stated, why did you do rupee collection in Kokiri Forest if you got 100 rupees from BotW anyway? Arguably the current publication is a "Ganondorfless" route to get to the ending, so should we have another category which doesn't skip it? Neat as a concept demo to show off what the current method for BotW/Dodongos' Cavern is, but I don't think it's worthy of being published.
At first I wasn't going to submit this as I wasn't sure whether or not it would be published but I then got multiple different people saying that I should. This run shouldn't be compared to Any% as you wouldn't compare All Dungeons to Any% either, this is just showing off what a run which skips the end boss of the game would look like. I'm perfectly fine with it being accepted or not accepted. As for the rupees I said at the start of the run, that this was supposed to be for me to practice, which is why I simply used the start from MrGrunz' Any% as that section wasn't really worth re-doing. I regret not doing it but there wasn't much I could do.

Ah, I see - a few of the splits were not multiples of 3 frames. That is due to lag?
Yeah, this happens in places with large amounts of lag such as the tower collapse section.
