Is it possible to continue recording on where I left the game on famtasia ? Like I want to run mario 3 first world. Then stop recording and watch how it came to. And then If it was gj I continue it.. Is it even possible? I have tried saving a state before I stop the movie and then start recording and load the state I saved earlier.. But the movie says its broken after that.

Well this is it.. The CT project is dead... I Can't continue the project by myself and my personal life is getting all messy. I'm taking a break from everything, for a year. I might do this run later, if someone hasn't made this by then. But for now, make those damn runs ;)

Yeah but inserting the name takes time.. I have to try it and see if it saves any seconds.. And that luccas inventions text is propably a bug that i didn't even notice in my all a clicking :)
Will you use savestates to effect game randomness - all critical hits/misses for you/enemies and such?
No I will not use the savestates to effect the fights in any way.. I savestate BEFORE the fight because there is 3 patterns that the enemies take in battle and it's randomized as you enter the battle mode (we are still working on proving that)
Will you go through the game in entirety or just beat Lavos as soon as the party is strong enough?
First we are running as fast as we can trought end of time, as soon as party gets trong enough. We intend to get the triple tech lifeline to ease the beating of lavos (lifeline gives all the nice regeneration and autolife things that prove VERY usefull, that tech is made by Chrono, Marle, Lucca). If this run goes like we want it to go we just might make a faster version of zophars run wich goes trough the whole game with all the secret items and stuff.
Will you let text messeges stay up long enough to be read?
No we will be clicking the as fast as possible, but if you are a fast reader you can read it ;)
Will you do non-required, non-speed-enhancing side-quests?
I don't really understand what you are saying here (sorry, i'm not native english speaker/reader), but we will go trough sidequests that give good weapons, because the boss fights go so much easier with the strongest weapon at that time. So we are thinking of getting the ultimate weapons for Chrono, Marle and Lucca, but they take so much time that we are first going to try without them. If you have any more questions, just ask. I'm more than willing to answerr

Yeah and don't they require that you have beaten the game once before? It has to be a alucard run all the way.

Yeah but remember that it's my first ever attempt to make a timeattack and a first movie :) Yeah the battle speed is too sloppy right now. Have to fix that. "Lucca's inventions never work right" message? The forest route is the shortest.. And i have to avoid the battles before i get lucca so it's the best.. Believe me. That equipment thing might be good.. I might just try it. The reason why i wait for double techniques is simply because they save time. I use the right skills on enemies so that they make 3x times more damage than they make normally. But i'm not sure what is the fastest way. AAAND the horrible Yakra battle is because i killed wrong monsters. If it would have gone right i wouldn't have used slurp to heal because Yakra would have atttacked lucca. Strange. Got to see what monsters did that to the ai. And before the Yakra i messed the shelter usage. But this goes off topic, but i had to answer :)

Anyone had an lust for running this game? It would be ideal for a timeattack.. It has many goals to achieve and you can just run straight to the dracula if you want... I might be taking this one after the current CT run.

He said that the movie bugged at the start and chrono just wandered around his house. I gave him the rom i used and the same snes9x.exe that i used in recording. I find this REALLY strange :)

I have been making a Chrono trigger timeattack and last night i recorded the first part (ends after beating yakra). I then tried to get some feedback by giving it to some of my friends to look at. Later they pm:d me at irc and said that the .smv files were bugged and didn't work. I have been thinking this for a while now and i'm asking from you because you might even know something about this program.. Can this occur when my friend has different buttons in his config at Snes9x?

Well, you could just do a New Game+ and skip directly from the Millennial Fair to Lavos, but... That's not cool.

How about slowing the emu speed?
Hmm i have been thinking that, but the key combination system on zsnes looks promising.. I'ts just hard to time them right. And the key combination system sometimes bugs and goes into wrong menus... I'ts kinda annoying.

Oh and one more thing... Does anyone have any tips in scrolling the menus fast. We are wasting like 20mins in just equiping the characters with best weapons. :/ and that sucks. Is there anything or anyone that can make it go a little faster. I can do the change pretty fast now, but i think i'm in my human limits right now, living with coca-cola and all that :)

Hi all... Me and my friend took a big project month ago and are doing good.. We can make it to the end of time in bit over 45 mins (anyone who knows this game, knows how fast it is).. I'm just asking now that is it going to be too long... We are currently planning best course for collecting levels, but it's pretty hard to go under 2h. I would like to know that if anyone here is allready doing this run, or is willing to help us with ideas about the game.We think that with better routing we can get under 2h easily, but it's going to be tough. Comments please. Thank you.
