I am new to Nintendo DS encoding. How do I adjust the script so that the main video is on the left hand size of the screen and the split screen is on the right of the screen?

I think you should use Bizhawk as most of the games can emulate it's graphics properly like in Abe's Oddysee the fire lights in the free fire zone don't have much of a square around them.

Yeah I have a high end computer which can encode quicker and now I know how to encode for TASvideos, I'll be encoding future Abe submissions.

The PC versions of Abe's Oddysee and Exoddus will have a better any% completion time and I can't seem to get the games to work on hourglass. They are single player games that use keyboard input. It will be great to get them working so that Dooty and I can set PC any% records for both games.

Update: Dooty says the small improvement will only save 2 frames but we won't be adding it right now. We could add it in when we do the run on the PSX core in Bizhawk.

Update: I got the encode sucessfully done now. Feos sent me an updated TASVideosencode package and it's all up on YouTube now. Now I know how to encode!

Yep. Now the PNG exists in the folder and at the time of writing this message the encode is 41.2% done. It will be ready for uploading to YT in around 4 hours 3 minutes.

Finally! After days of troubleshooting, I have got an HD stream encoding! It should be done by tomorrow and I will send feos the link to the proper HD encode when it's here. Phew!

Ah ha! I finally figured out what the problem was now! I just did a small encode and I didn't save my hdlogo as a PNG in photoshop So now I have a valid PNG file, it seems to be working fine and is encoding frames as well now. I will make my own HD encode of the TAS. Yay!
