I'm an expert chess player, so I can help make those artistic positions (but not in the fastest way possible, of course) http://chessbase.com/puzzle/puzzle11/puzz11-7a.htm at the bottom, Is an example on an artistic design It has "2002" on it, and is actually a set of problems, a skilled chessplayer needs to solve in a certain number of moves (we just need the design to end in checkmate OR stalemate if possible!)

My suggestion to make a chess game entertaining (1 Select a game that moves the pieces as fast as possible (2 Move the pieces in a way to make an artictic design Example: Move the pieces to make a series of letters, such as T A S V I D E O S with the last S ending the game in Checkmate.

What does SDA have to do with this topic, Zurreco? Any new ideas/improvements/glitches found?

I must be a bigger idiot than I thought, driving amtd away with no effort at all. A 100% run can't be achieved because 50 vs. battles are required to unlock the last feature. The only way that will happen is if a pre-defined save of 49 vs. battles is allowed. I guess that's about it for 2006. See you in 2007.

There's always idiots running around here, not knowing what they're talking about. Get used to it, antd. If you complete the Fox SSB run and it gets accepted, you're instantly a hero on this site.

skaMastaG's comments are in quotes. Mine are those small star things. "1. Beat the game on very hard as fast as possible to unlock Captain Falcon." *I think the game pits you against Ness before Falcon in Normal or harder.* "2. Beat the game on normal with highest possible score to unlock Ness" *VERY HARD has a higher bonus than Normal* "3. Beat the game on easy/very easy as entertaining as possible to unlock Jigglypuff." *I think very easy could be for speed and VERY HARD for entertainment* "4. Get fastest possible times for all characters on break the targets and unlock Luigi. 5. Get fastest possible times for all characters on board the platforms. " *Is the option unlocked the moment the last requirement is completed or when the unlock menu appears? That will determine when to reset* "I think that would be the perfect run for this game. It unlocks all of the characters, as well as completing all of the practice stages and completing adventure mode with 3 different methods." *The only omission is the 50 vs. battles required to unlock the extra course. Since that takes forever, mabye a pre-defined save of 49 vs. battles may need to be considered and the 50th vs. battle ran for pure entertainment.* I'm slightly more skilled on Super Smash Bros, but I have no experience in TAS's, so naturally I'm reluctant to work on this run. Baxter is currently trying to complete 4 Mega Man games at once, so he's 4 times more than unavailable at this time.

Anyone willing to take on the Super Smash Bros. 100% speed/entertainment/high score run? No ninjas, please. We need someone that can throw turtle shells.

What does Truncated and adelikat think about Baxter's idea and about the opinion of the Fox fastest time run?

If anyone's going to attempt an entertainment run soon, here's a few suggestions Use a variety of KO's and avoid repetition when necessary Use a few items for KO's (bumpers, PokEballs, Star Rod *use that against Kirby* Bom-ombs, mines) If you're using Mario, consider the turtle shell glitch (spin attack with a green turtle shell, temporarly freezing the game and causing 999% damage) Have CPU's kill CPU's and perhaps try killing 3 CPU's at once Most importantly, I want to see someone whacked with the home run bat. If antd's finishing up his attempt in a few days, then I've got no reason to stick around. But I would like an entertainment run where Fox whacks someone with the Home Run Bat.

Cheap kills/suicides is not really my idea of entertainment. Some of the things going around my head (select Fox) Stage 1: Kill Link quickly using combinations (Is ther e a shield spike somewhere?) Stage 2: Use a variety of throws, (does shield attacks work on very hard?) Use an item at the end (PokEball or Home Run Bat) Stage 3: Perhaps an Arwing KO, but before that, Humiliate fox by dodging his laser fire & smash moves while pummeling him, then set up a smash/arwing combo Stage 4: Complete AFAP (As fast as possible) Stage 5: I hate this stage. Partner does nothing. Since this stage has bumpers, use the bumper item for a KO. Stage 6: Either kill pikachu quickly or use a smash/bomb combo. I'll continue this later. I think the goal of the run should be to avoid repetitive strategy and use a variety of attacks as well as using items.

There's too many possibilities for Super Smash Bros. not to be published. I think the run needs use a variety of ideas from character abilities, item usage, combinations, CPU suicides, CPU's killing CPU's, program glitches etc. I've got a number of basic ideas in my head if anyone needs help.
