Highness: to beat all courses on world record times is really easy to say but it would take you very much time and insane work to do it specially complicated courses like Sand Ocean. You see even on Mute City 1 (the by far easiest course) it took me 1, with improvement even 2 days already only for the first lap of 25 seconds. I tell you I did already more than 6200 rerecords for 1 lap and it is only 0.01 seconds faster than the first lap of the world record. The world record time is not just a normal time but the best (and surely many times improved over years) time ever made. It's really not that easy to beat this time like that. See Tuggummis improved movie of Mute City 1 which is 1:53 seconds slower than the world record but still awesome played. This gave me the idea to try it myself and I can't even guarantee that I will be able to break the record, at least I try to.

God, breaking the World record is soooo hard (even with tools). I have to rerecord every damn corner at least 30 times with different combinations of releasing gas using L + R and of course left + right to find the fastest combination. Also I have to find the best possible line. I didn't thought that this easy track will cost me so much time to record, but I started already and I will do it anyway. For thoose who don't know: Holding L or R while driving straight will affect on the speed even if it don't change the direction and don't looks like that, so I also have to use it as less as possible. PS: Improved the first lap by 2 Pixels :-) but still 25:41.

The Omega Flare is a really good choice since it is one of the best fullscreen attacks and you don't even have to learn it since you get it from the Blue Rock. But in the battle against lavos core: Is it maybe better to dispatch the left bit first (2000 HP) as fast as possible and then to use Omega Flare on the other 2 bits? So you can damage the right bit and dispatch the middle bit at once until the left one revives again. EDIT: And hey, if you wish to increase Robos M.Def somehow, why not just take the Wall Ring together with the Dash Ring in one of the Black Box in Heckrans Cave. You will only have to run in and out (without fighting anything which costs the most time) and this will be about 1 min more in total with returning. The Wall Ring increases M.Def by 10 which is only 2 M.Def weaker than Flea Vest, and the Dash Ring increases the Speed by 3, maybe also a usefull item. And maybe taking the Safe Helm (no need for Shield-Items anymore) of the Forest Ruins is also a good choice to up physical defense by 1/3. This is on the way to Heckran Cave anyway. And also costs not more than 30 sec.

What do you think who would win IF the doctor wouldn't cancel the fight after round 6 because of of the cut in Klitschkos face? I was so dissappointed that this legendar fight on 21. June 2003 was cancelled so early because it would be awesome to see a knockout of this 2 great fighters. I really believe that Klitschko had a real chance because he trained much harder than Lewis for as he said "the fight of my life" and I guess if he could stand at least 2 rounds longer Lewis would run out of condition. What do you think? (If there are some boxing fans at least) EDIT: OK, I see its definitely the wrong place to discuss boxing here, I just thought if there are chess experts then some boxing lovers are also here. Guess I am wrong. I will remove this topic tomorrow if no one is interested till then.

No, SSF2 doesn't support 8 Star-Turbo. The speed I used in my both movies is the fastest possible.

I watched the 3rd part. The lavos battle was crazy and I think you can't win here at least against the Lavos Core if I see that even Lavos 2 take 1500 HP + instant death to Robo already. I would recommend you should finish the Geno Dome since it will give your Robo Speed+3 M.Def+10 and the very useful Crisis Arm which is a must in a low level for a massive damage.

So far I know the world record for the first lap is 25.42 and this is exactly 1 frame slower than mine currently. Here are the current World records for each track: http://www.mrfixitonline.com/List.asp?ListId=492&Action=SHOWITEM&ListDataId=26457 Also I do it just for fun and I will only record a world record-attack of Mute City 1, not a Grand Prix because I don't have the time for it, but I will of course do my best to make this short movie interesting to watch.

Just did the first lap in 25:41 and this is 1 millisecond faster than the world record! I will use a different driving line than the most do in this course because I think in the end it will be faster.

I readed the tread and I think it's a good idea to make an tool assisted attack on the world record of Mute City 1. I watched Tuggummi's improved version which is 1:59:94 but I have to say that you have no chance to break the record in the Grand Prix Mode because you can't start fast enough like get bumped from the Golden Fox in Practise instead and the additional cars (or whatever it is) which you have to pass could cause you deviate from the best line which already will cost you some milliseconds. I decided that I will give it a go if I get some time and try to make the best possible time and maybe even break the record of 1:58:41 if it is still the best. I guess you have to use the Practise mode and the Golden Fox opponent otherwise it will be impossible in any case. PS: I watched Foda's ZSNES 1.36 Movie and I must say for a non tool assisted skill movie it is very good. Respect!

Shakespeare, I think you know best of us about Dizzy Combos so why don't you make a movie of them? Then we could see if it's really interesting to watch. By the way: I really would like to know who is the guy who voted "No" without explaining it again, not that I care about the "No" but more about cowards who can't even write their opinion down. I guess it's always the same person who just has a problem with me or so. I myself would never vote negative without explaining why.

to feitclub: no as a human player it is impossible to make a full life bar damage with holding. You can get at most about 50-60% bar damage if you press the correct buttons. Every cpu has his own defense against holding: for example Cammy has almost no defense and you can hold her very long but strong fighters like T.Hawk Zangief or Bison have the best holding defense and its almost impossibe to make even 2 hits while holding them. CPU Zangief is able to make a full life bar holding on 8 Stars (if optimal) but it is a programmed advantage of the CPU, human can't do it in any case. PS: And yes, as a ssf2 expert I can say you: big Zangief has more potential than most people think :-) to Shakespeare:
Shakepeare wrote:
You hitted opponent 3 single hits in different times. it got dizzy. Should i take in this meaning, that it can be 3 hits Dizzy combo. While you did a 5 hits dizzy combo?
I don't really know that. I was more concentrated in making a better look of the movie than only thinking of Dizzy combos.
Shakespeare wrote:
I really did'nt like you fight against Blanka & Especially M.Bison. You should waste him a little change or speedy. example: Using combos. Combos Suggestions: You did a 5 hits dizzy combos. After dizzy Joining a 9 Hit Combo will make it 100% combo. You should use it as well.
Well against Blanka I wanted to demonstarte the power of the holding techniques (I think it must be included in a Zangief movie). Against Bison I wanted to show some counter hits like breaking Bisons kick with my kick since Zangief has very fast hits (even hard hits) and I just felt I should show them because I used many combos in earlier fights before and I wanted to make every fight as most different as possible (you know that from my last movie) for a diversified watch. For a 100% life bar combo: as I said I wanted rather to show as many different combos as possible instead of another 9 hit combo I already did 2 times, and honestly I didn't care about the dizzys to much since I think they won't make a movie more impressing, but if the CPU can move and fight and I counter it anyway its more interesting, I think.

Good News: I completed a New SSF2 Super Battle walkthrough like the Ken movie but this time using Zangief! I will submit the movie right now. I started to record it secretly and slowly since march after I felt empty to record my Secret of Evermore movie further. For more information just read the comments of the movie. Have Fun

Awesome game indeed. So many difficult quests and secrets and also the Big Boo castle was insane long. Now I understand how this game can be 6 MB big. What I really liked were the many backgrounds which make this game very interesting to watch and play. Also the different worlds like in NES's Super Mario 3 were very interesting and the Koopas with the hats in snow land were funny. And it is so insane complicated (like the 1000 pipe warps level) that my head almost explode watching it :-) What I really wonder is how have you found all the extremely hard to find secret rooms (exits)? Because I don't think there is a guide for this game which explains them.

- Chrono Trigger - Terranigma - Super Street Fighter 2 - Super Mario Kart - Super Metroid - Secret of Evermore - Final Fantasy 6 - Super Tennis (for awesome human vs human matches on zbattle) - Donkey Kong Country But hands down: Chrono Trigger is just the best game on SNES I think

Reached Nobilia 2nd time, defeated Aegis, and leveled up Atlas to level 2. Now I have to optimize the final cast of atlas to get as much strenght as possible to hold the negative value to the end otherwise it will not be enough. Its very hard to find the best cast because the variable changes after every frame so I have to find the absolute peak of the cast. I will do it tomorrow.

It's time for a update! Completed Great Pyramid and defeated Rimsala. In the big tresure room I took only the middle line since it has the most different items I had not before, besides I skipped 2 pots of Dry Ice (5 in total and the only ingredient I can't buy over and over) because of detours. Movie updated to WIP 7! www.freewebs.com/saturnsmovies/snes9xmovies.htm Recording time still less than 1 hour (59 min)

Good news: Tested ahead to the end by killing Carltron's Robot (last boss of the game) and calculated the experience till the last kill. Level 2 Atlas will be enough if I don't kill to many enemies in Gothica and Omnitopia. The Money will also be enough for every armor I have to buy later. Now the way is open for a perfect recording, all doubts cleared.

For full demonstration of the 99 call beads trick I will need about 1 hour because I have to complete full Gothica world with some correct variations and this is a really long time for a trick. I suggest you just watch my ZSNES run of this game to see exactly what to do right after I bought the key for it (Magic Gourd). www.freewebs.com/saturnsmovies/zsnesmovies.htm I recommend you the 2nd run (crazy walkthrough with also the Atlas trick because this one is really fast. PS: Almost done the Great Pyramid, now have to optimize the returning move to the exit right after I got Horace's Regeneration Magic of the Pot.

Alright, I also think it would be not really entertaing to repeat a room 30 times for cash so I will skip this glitch. I haven't got many opinions but I think its the correct choice. Thank you Spoony_Bard and Halamantariel to ease my decision. I will use the Diamond Eyes glitch instead to keep even more items than normaly possible.

To Spoony_Bard: I forgot to say that after the Verminator I will not need the call beads anymore since I can kill every next boss with the weapos then. The 99 Call Beads trick is not safing time at all later, it's just to reveal the most important secret of the game, nothing else. To Viewer: A good question, have to kill the Mad Monks right before the Hall of Collosia (4x) and as I said they give 75 jewels but only 20 Exp each. So I get 300 jewels per one room and 80 Exp. I have to make at least 10000 jewels here so I will need to repeat this room about 30 times and this will give about 2400 additional Exp in tortal and I guess for a level 2 atlas it will not be enough to cancel the effect even at the end of the game. I reached the point in the recording where I have to decide between this 2 ways so I have to decide as soon as possible and I need the Majority to the better way of you guys until its not to late. Fact is I will lose about 5 min to get the needed cash and about 5 more minutes for detours to make the best trick of the game to work.
