And I'm not sure if this game can be beaten without entering the menu until the last room, I mean, you have to use protection from evil on yourself to get past the first dragon in the sewers, unless you want to kill it. But killing it wastes several seconds, so I'm not sure that doing this without going into the menu before that saves a huge amount of time. Plus the fact that you would probably have to run around with very low HP a lot, thus wasting a lot of time by avoiding lots of enemies and stuff like that. But still, a run where you don't enter the menu until the very last room would be about 20-30 seconds faster.

The only way i see someone could improve this is by not going into the menu untill the very last room, wich is probably possible but hard. Great run, if i could vote i would vote: Yes =)

Thanks for telling me about the protection from evil spell, SeNn, I'll try it out to see if I can get it to work :) And to answer Zalien's questions: Ah, yes you're right that I need Goldmoon alive to kill the last boss. I'll redo the run some to keep her alive for that.
No problem =) And no you don't need her =P, if she dies, pick up the STAFF and give it to some one that can use it, you don't need Goldmoon, you need the STAFF =P Oh and Zalien, at least you did not get it for chrismas when you we're still getting the hang of video games... That game still exists in my grandma's basement with the NES... o.o

All comments are of course welcome. I've run into a problem though. You know the dragon that SeNn jumps through in the sewers? Well, I can't seem to get that to work... I've come to the conclusion that you have to open the menu before doing it, that's the trick for getting this to work. Anyway, if someone feels up to it, I would really appreciate some help with how to get through the dragon
I use the protection against evil spell :P Edit: o_o Good job on the movie also, submit yours, you seem to be able to do it much better then me =P

I noticed one other thing. When you enter to room, you always walk first and then start running. I'd would be much faster to start running immediatly.
o.o You have to hold the direction you're moving, let's say you're going left, you hold left, the char starts walking, and when he (Or she) is ready, he will run.

No, I don't mean the spider, which don't hit you. Wonder me too a bit. But before that you get hit by one spider, where you don't jump over it too.
Yeah, i was talking about the one and only spider that hit me. If i tried to jump he would still hit me. It's the one and only spider who always hits me no matter what i do.

I think I must still press some buttons at the end, to reach the last screen, or I am wrong? The last screen for me is the black one where this message appear: To be Continued. And this movie will not reach this end. Only the points screen from each character. And some things looks not so good. I wonder, why you don't jump over the one spider near the end and get hit from here, what cost time. You most jump over all other spiders before this one and it seems to work good. Or is this not always possible?
Gah, darnit. >_< Oh well, i messed up, il just try my luck at some other game eventually then, if i go through this game one more time i think i may be permanantly brain damaged. Sorry about that. >.< And the spider... Well, weather i jump or not, he would still hit me for some reason, its the only spider im not able to pass without getting hit. Maybe it just doesn't like me? >.>

Not to stir up anything, but wouldn't the wild warp code that was used in Crystalis fall under the same category? It's just about as well known and allows you to get places that aren't normally accessable in such a way.
Me thinks you're right. o.o

and what about the toad's houses? arent you going in any of them?
The only one I can think of that will save time would be to get the hammer suit in World 6, if it's fast enough against bowser to justify that time and then some. Can you think of others that may help?
Last time i played i killed Bowser with the Hamer Bros. suit, took just a couple of hits, it does kill him pretty fast, but just to make sure you should still test it. =P
