I guess you may try jump-killing an opponent when you'll have to spend some frames in manipulating the next opponent. EDIT: In fact, to waste some frames earlier for variety may help you to save some frames later.
As I said, the game is not randomized in fact. Frames wasted in the 1st level won't come back in the 2nd level. I tried a lot of jumping and failed...

You are right. I tried to improve it, without success. Every time I get a hit, the scene stops for a while, and that just leave me less than 30 frames each hit to create art... Jumping attack looks cool, but it's always a waste of frames, even with the killing blow... I guess I can do something about the bonus round, but without improving the main part, that doesn't mean much...
