Sorry for taking so long, we feel bad about it. I'd like to let you know that our re-record count is now roughly at 380,000 for the whole project. Things are going very good, so your patience will pay off soon. Hold in there! ^_^

how do you do that glitchy wallkick? do you just perform a normal wallkick, but in that exact spot, or is it different somehow?
Yeah, you basically got it. Position, speed and angle all have a factor in it. No one truly understands it I believe, we mostly just trial and error. There sometimes is a general pattern on when it works, but in other cases, it can be extremely "random". ^^ Update on the Brian 14"57 situation: It is timed to be 14"60, AND we see a frame cut out. This means that it ties what we have. No, we aren't 100% positive, but we are happy to move on without enough proof. Just incase you guys were curious, I thought I'd let you know what we think. :)

about Brian's vids, isn't it possible to download them and cut them up frame by frame with some program? then by counting the frames you should be able to get the time that Jap's TAS was sex
The accuracy of the YouTube download, Brian's encode or yet alone, YouTube itself is always questionable.

He removed the text from the begining of the stage. That makes this video completely pointless to the 0-star TAS.
No it doesn't. What kind of logic is that? Anyway, to the point: This is another potentially fake video by Brian. I just saw it like, 10 seconds ago, so I'll talk with the team and see what they say when they're online. Meanwhile, Japanese people are awesome: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m24Lfd8Ib7I&feature=sub Update on situation: 1) Nahoc timed the video with a YouTube downloader and got 14"60. This obviously isn't proof either way, it could be 14"57, or could be 14"63. An .m64 is the only proof. 2) Brian won't tell us where he "saved time" on MSN. 3) We're just going to move on. There's no .m64, there's no proof.

It was eerie to hear "z0MGe" again, especially when you pronounced it so badly. Other than that, I don't have much to add. Others will have better ideas than me. And yes I am a bad-ass.

We did a large investigation of the YouTube download of his "14"60" and noticed a few things. We also related what we noticed with Brian's claims. When we did this, we noticed inconsistencies. For example, Brian claimed to get over -500~ speed. Judging by his great turn, his angle, and his inability to go through walls, we realized he in fact did not get this much backwards speed. He also claimed to saved a frame somewhere in the middle of the BLJ. After watching it in frame by frame, we saw he was correct. However, we also noticed a frame was taken out somewhere near the beginning of the run. We watched carefully and saw this was the only frame he took out, thus his real time was actually 14"63. We have had this time for quite a while. To conclude, Brian obviously edited out a frame of a standard 14"63 run with nothing special about it. He didn't even get close to saving that frame, far from it. We got somewhat close to 14"60, but it's just not reachable, since so many great TASers have tried it. In the future, we will follow the rule: If there's no .m64, it did not happen. Because anyone who isn't a douche bag will share their work. This is not to say he doesn't have 14"60 at this time, but from what we have to work with, there is no evidence that he has it. So with no evidence, we can safely just continue on with the run. Now with that all said, the 0 star has been vastly revived. We have done numerous new and great things. Some will be saved for the surprise factor, some we have shown, such as Bowser in the Fire Sea. Thank you everyone for the support and advice to deal with our problems, and let's keep on going forward.

I agree. I don't think it should obsolete the NTSC run because it should be a different category.

The music in this game is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. It's so good I don't care about the TAS. YES. But seriously I thought the TAS was good because of the subtitles adding so much insight.

Kind of. I mean, we still haven't saved the frame in BitDW. But we will try out hardest. :) And hopefully Brian finds the heart to share his .m64 to help us so we can finish this 0 star for your guys' pleasure. ^^

Thanks FODA. :)
So you are making the TAS then? Good to hear you've come around.
I think Brian will help us in BitDW soon. We've "made ammends" to some degree. I also unbanned him from SM64.org

Oh sorry. XD Nah, it didn't offend me. I'm not French Canadian. "I can indeed see that andrewg's post wasn't made by you. I can also see, however, that your post (that is, the reply to andrewg's post) was made by you." No shit... I was just saying that I didn't do anything wrong in that regard. Edit: Oh I thought you meant another joke FODA. Of course I got the 2 frame joke. But at the same time, I think it convey's a message that we take things too seriously. Of course we're going to take it serious when it comes from a top TASer like Brian.

Hey S_S, didn't you say you thought there should be no more posts on the subject of Brian and the frame he's allegedly saved over your run, causing outrage and ridicule and general hilarity? Also, can I ask if you're french canadian?
Yes, I thought there should be no more posts about it. It wasn't me who made that post about it, it was Andrew. But as you can see, Andrew sees my point. -_- Edit: Yes you should Andrewg, It's a very fun game to TAS!

Are you one of the best SM64 TASers who already has a YouTube video up (Brian's BitDW) proving you have potential?
