I tend to not like it when the camera is zoomed in too close to Mario Me neither, I usually don't do it unless it looks good or it makes the task of TAS'ing easier; like being able to see Mario. In some cases it isn't too bad and only lasts a few seconds. And other times if we don't use it you won't see Mario, you'll be staring at walls, such as in enclosed areas in the castle and such. Thanks for the constructive criticism.

Call me crazy, but this run feels slower than the previous one. Oh, well, it's frames that count, and I certainly enjoyed watching it, so Yes vote. You're crazy! Hehe, just kidding. Maybe the new route in Bowser 2 will take some time to getting use to. Ironic how avoiding a "Timesaver" was a timesaver itself. Thanks for the vote. ;)

Is it just me or does that run show a faster DDD skip than the current 0-star TAS that was just submitted...? Lol. No.

very nice improvement, especially on BitFS I would vote yes if I could. Thanks. You are no longer a lurker; you can vote "yes" now. :)

The idea was to get lower than 1812 then hex the rest of my 16 star run into that. I don't see what the problem is. We weren't going to put it on YouTube, or make it public in any way. It was essentially a test. There's nothing wrong with two people trying to do something in the same m64. That is NOT the same as two people coauthoring a 10 second star. There's a difference (not that you'll be able to tell that). Like I said, I guess I was just confused about the filename and it having the description of "sub 5:39" and the fact that Brian kept saying it was a secret 0 star run you and Brian started.

Well, I guess I was confused about the filename being "Brian and SL 0 star TAS" or something like that and it continued past the doorway a bit. I believe it also had the description "Sub 5:39" or something, but I can't remember exactly what it was. I also find it funny that you started a .m64 with him just to do the lakitu skip... You keep saying it's pathetic that people do runs together on youtube, small ones that is, yet you did something lasting ~5 seconds? But I suppose all of that means absolutely nothing and it was bounded from going past the castle door. *ahem*

save 2 frames on a BLJ. Yeah, it was 2 frames until I redid it after seeing your 0 star with Brian.

but I'm not even the author of the current run. Yes, but you have the information we needed at the time and boasted about knowing it and you lied about HOW to do it to waste even more time. (not that we fell for it.)

Got him to not dance. All I did was redo the slope jump dives at BitDW and tied our time. Thank god that's over. >_<

Well at least we are finishing other stuff until we learn how to manipulate bowser Mapler.

That's what I was implying. Oh, sorry, you know i'm bad at catching on. So then why don't you accept the apology? That doesn't have much to do with it unless there's something i'm not thinking of. And of course, I do understand if you don't accept my apology just because I was an ass to you and what not.

Funny. SS tries to sort things out, then zOMGe does exactly the same. What are the odds? Apology not accepted. If you mean you think we were both on MSN and I told him something along the lines of: "Hey z0MGe, let's both apologize." Then that wasn't the case, I just felt like I needed to apologize and apparently z0MGe copied me. >_> I wasn't even trying to get you guys to tell me how to manipulate bowser out of the apology, it was just the stupidest thing i've ever done making fun of you two like that.

"we've found a bit of an improvement for a BLJ you did, it might save some time in your run" Although I was a complete ass, and i'm sorry for that, you know it was improvable just from SL's 0 star. :P I apologize for what i've said, SL and RobZ. And i'm not asking for you to forgive me, I just know I was a dick when I was "harrassing" you and I should apologize.

I don't do the hex editting, z0MGe does, and he changed the camera and some angles outside the castle and entered the door at the same frame, and he still did his "dance". So is that what you mean by "Changing the way you reach the castle"? Changing the camera or angle? Either way, FODA said that he just changed stuff like speed and angles and placement while going into the pipe and it prevented it, but that isn't working for us.

I'm sure any kind of run for Super Mario 64 if performed by an author with lots of experience and skill at TAS'ing Mario could be entertaining. With this in mind, we don't want to have several different kinds of TAS runs. There should be the bare minimum (0 stars) and the full completion. (120 stars)

Good work with the 16 stars TAS there. A shame we didn't finish our 0 star run before then, but I suppose it doesn't matter too much; it was still optimized for what was known.

For some reason I remember hearing that you actually retain speed in water from backwards momentum. Ah yes, that was FODA who told me that. In any case, that won't work, don't waste time testing that.

Not too bad. Lack of motivation sometimes kills progress, but you know.
