Nice that you made an encode, but unfortunately the audio is ahead of the video by about a second the whole way though. Makes it hard to watch.

Someone commented on my temporary encode saying he is "dying to see a TAS of" PSX Frogger, if that gives you any encouragement. I am also anticipating it, whenever it's finished.
Thanks. The problem I've had is that if I get done with 1 level a few frames earlier, I lose seconds on the next level. That's what frustrating. I will try to get back to it soon. I hope.

this run could be a good base for a 100% run (and this underrated game seriously needs on) and if accepted, should be obseleted by one...
100% runs for Castlevania games can be really hit-or-miss as far as entertainment goes. For instance, this CotM submission was rejected, whereas this Symphony of the Night movie got rave reviews for the most part.
That's cause CotM sucks.

You should remove the ROM link from your submission text and just include the name of the original game you used (per the rules).

Voting yes for glorious use of the Cantina song. Though do a better job of cutting it off in the final encode.

Trump him, then split the money towards TASVideos server costs and SDA's AGDQ2 Charity.

While well TASed, this amounts to nothing but a big video walkthough. There's nothing "impressive" about it from a TAS standpoint other then how fast you did it. Puzzle games like this just don't work well, IMO. Voting NO on game choice.

I don't think this is a failure on anybody's part. This just purely shows the power of distributed computing, via Folding@Home and other similar services.

There are no other differences between the two versions.
No other differences? So the characters and backgrounds are the same and I'm just smoking weed as I watch or something?

I'm halfway in-between "this run category is arbitrary" and "ZOMFG THIS RUN IS AWESOME!!!!111". Seriously, while the idea of collecting furniture for a castle room that will be soon destroyed seems silly, seeing new glitches performed (like the whip rise though the ceiling) was fun. And the run actually still never seemed to get old. It was a fun watch. The run was awesome. I just don't know if we need the category.

Here's to hoping it lands on one particular church group in Kansas. You know which one.

I like this, but I think the harder stages are the 5th - 8th, so please run that version instead - it would look more impressive IMO.

No, simply because the only reason this TAS exists seems to just be propaganda for people to wtch the new show and put pictures of ponies all over this site. Is no website sacred :(

Without even watching this run, all I can say is this about Ferret Warlord.

I can't remember exactly when I started, but I do know it was before ZSNES 1.0 came out. I would imagine I got going around 98 or so.

Marahna Act 2 Refight - Good luck. It seems like the bosses are a bit faster in the refights because you weren't able to get as many hits in when Kalia comes down.
Yes, some of the bosses move about twice as fast. This makes Kalia a bitch to fight.

They're not loading screens in a traditional sense in MP. You're just sitting there staring at (or shooting at, if you're bored) a door. :P

I'm glad one of my ideas actually worked out successfully. Thanks for the explanations. :) This run is gonna be freaking awesome when it's finally done.

Man, you're awesome man. I was looking over v3 and SNESMaps and thought of a couple of crazy idea. I'm sure they won't work or will negate something later, but I thought I'd throw it out there. Bloodpool Act I - Use the Y quick fall accel from the bridge just before the partial apple. Marana Act I - I assume the minor pause is to allow the 1st snake to fall enough that you miss it? Also, would a Y quick fall accel allow you to save a few frames from the ledge where the 1-UP is? Or would you lose it from the extra damage you'd take? Northwall Act II - Could you get the Partial Apple during the first wall climb to try to save some time? Or does it not save anything? BTW, nice of Kalia to FINALLY cooperate. :)

I think this run should obsolete the X + X2 run, even though it's slightly longer. It demonstrates everything in that run + more.

I don’t like that layout, it’s unnatural you normally read top–bottom, left–right, having X1 and X3 side by side would confuse people…
Uh, you obviously haven't watched the encode then. X1 and X3 are side by side RIGHT NOW. The current layout of the encode is: X3 - X1 Stats - X2 So it's in "Japanese" reading format (Upper Right, move down, move left). But whether it's X1 - X2/X3 - Stats ("one page format") or X1 - X3/X2 - Stats ("two page book format"), I think it should have X1 in the upper left, not the upper right.
