One more game I thought of that would be fantastic is Castlevania Chronicles. However, I can't get this to work in either PCSX or ePSXe. You load the game, get to the menu, and then the game crashes. The best way to run it (if it ever works): Arranged Mode, Hard, Timer Off (the last saves time as the timer isn't converted to points). I'd rather see arranged mode done as it has a (IMO) fantastic soundtrack. YOU GODDAMNED BATHEAD! --- I've tried Frogger (USA) on the emulator, won't load. Space Invaders and MM8 won't load for me either, and I'd love to see all 3 done. ISOs are fine - they all play just fine on ePSXe. Edit: Got Rockman 8 to work anyways. Better then MM8 for VAing anyways.

I would love to see Frogger. It's fun, it's got a definitive end (unlike the original arcade game), and it's a hard puzzle game, which IMO would make watching it more exciting to watch.

That didn't stop people from doing both Links Awakening and Links Awakening DX. Both are also the same except for color and an optional dungeon (which isn't in the current DX run).
Well, originally DX was done only because in the original game, there's a HUGE map glitch that allows you to move from the end of one screen to the same end of the next screen. That was the original differences between the runs. Now DX has a run with some other bizarre glitch. So yes, it's the "same", but it's different. Also, pretty much every SNES remake Square did on the PSX sucked. Mostly for horrible audio. Especially Anthology. Ok, hell. The ONLY remake Square did right on the PSX was Final Fantasy I in Origins.

Chrono Trigger
I see no point in this, as it's the same game with added lag and crappier audio quality.

- Legend of Mana (even though I ended up not really liking it, I think it might make a good 2P TAS)
If the emulator gets good enough and I have enough time, I'd do it. I have all the materials needed to do a very fast run (Dragon Storyline is the fastest by far). I've gotten the console version done under 1:50. TAS might be able to push 1:45, but you can't get the Mana Goddess fight much faster then what I did it at. I'd give out my time for her, but that's a secret until the run gets published. ^_~

First 3 digits of PI I can see. I consider the 4th to be a movie title (300).

Yeah, the elder of the village in Stage 1-1 (who you normally need to talk to in order to get bombs to get to the warp star to get to the end-of-level star) is who he's referring to.

-Mathfun: using memory addresses, I was able to save time by answering 15 questions, rather than 14. Bonus to whoever sees the secret 4 numbers and knows what they mean.
Well, I got the obvious two. 666 (devil's number) and 69 (sexual position, also a reference to Bill and Ted's Excellent adventure).

Because it was 3 years old and ignored until you decided to needlessly bump it?

You can submit runs with SRAM if you choose the correct option in VBA. That is allowed if permission is granted. As for the intro hack thing, check out No-Intro's website, which includes patches to remove the intros from games. http://www.no-intro.org/ IPS patches can be found here: http://arcvoreppin.free.fr/ips/ (Kirby (USA) is 0775.)

I'm eager to see how this party fares as you get further on. The monk is an interesting choice given that his power is more closely tied to his level than other characters and you will only be fighting bosses. Also, I forget how the magic works, but I thought that you still need higher levels to get the higher level magic.
I think the GBA version went to an MP system, which throws out the Level system (somewhat). You're only limited to which characters can cast that spell. But it's been a while since I've played it.

I'm not sure on the WSC version. I still think it's Normal type, but I'm not positive. I haven't played it enough to give a definitive answer.

What are the significant differences between this and the original version?
GBA version is "Easy Mode" compared to the NES/PSX versions which are/have Normal mode.

This game just feels so uninspired compared to other Battletoad or Double Dragon games. Good work on the TAS, but this game sucks.

Because the media is stupid. That's why they can only cover one topic at a time for days on end. Like one random girl missing and that her mommy is in jail for not talking about it and all that bullcrap. Seriously, SHUT UP NANCY GRACE WE DON'T CARE.

Swordchucks win over all! Though I think the Fiends are getting smarter. I noticed that Tiamat tried using Bane against you. Too bad it failed! And putting Kary 4th was really odd. I thought I fell asleep and missed that. ^^;; Good work. YES vote.

If I find FF7 for the Playstation somewhere I might buy it and play it with pSX (I'm not a very big fan of pirating games newer than a certain critical age...). Btw, does anyone know for sure that it will work directly from the game CD with a regular PC CD drive, using the current version of pSX?
I know ePSXe works with all original PSX games from the CD/DVD drive. I don't use pSX so I can't say anything on that specifically, but it should since the only difference between an original game and a copy is (to my knowledge) the lack of bad sectors at the beginning and the end of the disc...or whatever the PSX uses to determine whether the disc is legit or not.

YAY to the person that changed the title on the publication to have proper capitalization. It drove me nuts, and I'm not an obsessive-compulsive person or anything like that. ^^;;

I love conventions. Unfortunately I'm really limited to only 1, since there aren't many in my area, and all the others that do typically fall around early August, when I can never get off of work. My wife likes to go too - we both cosplay. It took until the other day to finally find a pair of costumes that would work and go together. Especially since I don't want to do anything from Final Fantasy (always overdone) or Naruto (I hate the series, and it's also overdone).
