What about playing the extra modes in the game? Could you do them after the regular completion?
The Extra mode for be worthless on a TAS, as all it does is chop your HP in half. However Nightmare mode would be ok, as you're playing as Meta Knight instead of Kirby.

I agree with the idea of going for 100%. It'll give it some distinguishing feature besides being a little different from the original game.

Voting yes on this run, and on obsoleting the 16-star category. This run was...BRILLIANT!

240?! WOWSERS. And I thought my 115 personal record was good. ^^ And the little addition, while it adds time to the video, I consider it a fair trade-off for entertainment. Anybody that attempts to obsolete this run MUST include the credits mini-game, IMO.

While I haven't finished it yet, I have noticed one spot of improvement. Area 9, it is possible to skip Mirror World Kirby if you rocket through properly. But at that point it's a minor error and that's all I've see so far. And I'm enjoying this run. It's long overdue. :) --- Ok, I've finished it. I loved your Dark Mind 5 battle. That was freakin BRILLIANT. (How do you do that flaming hammer anyways, and is it possible in the US version?) One thing I wish you would do differently is to actually include the credits mini-game as part of your game play. Yes, this extends the video, but I think it'll be more entertaining.

ActRaiser and Legend of Mana are often on my Winamp for their fantastic tunes (especially ActRaiser Symphonic Suite). That and Seiken Densetsu 4, though most of the 4th CD is remixed from prior games.

Haha...my brain is fizzling lately. Gomen. ^^;; Oh a side note, in comparing my latest run attempt on a console to the TAS, I've now officially beaten it by 9 seconds. If there wasn't any motivation to improve it before...now there is.

The choice of skipping all magic related items in Filmoa is an interesting one. So how many scrolls are you gonna end up with in the end? I'm also still curious as to why you build your road at the beginning up, down, then back up again.

Correct. In the rules of Risk, at the start of your turn you get troops determined by how many countries you control, and if you control an entire continent you get bonus troops (how many varies depending on which continent you control).

I actually took the time to actually dig out my (E) version and start the video. I watched two levels...and it made MY run look good. >_>;;

There were some new shortcuts that surprised even me. The biggest being the pullies shortcut in Stage 4 (and used again in Dracula's castle. Good work.

If you were gonna do this, couldn't you at least have done the SNES version?

Well, given the lack of the UFO glitch, we could use this as a "non-glitch" run (since watching UFO the entire game is kinda boring) but it would also have to 100% to give it more of a differential than the NES version.

The controls are more forgiving. The graphics and sound are much better. Different ending text (that isn't Engrish). New battle music against Dedede. A few boss changes (the Turtle is gone, I think he was replaced with the Elephant) and a few tweaks here and there. And other minor tweaks here and there. I wouldn't mind seeing a Kirby - Nightmare in Dreamland run, but I know just looking at the time that this run could be greatly improved. And if you're going for a high percentage, you might as well go for 100%.

Considering I can do 100% in about the same time on a console (and SDA rejected it) there's no way this could fly here. Voting NO.

Dr. Mario also has the same method of "disposing" part of the piece by sending it out the top of the screen (except the bottle opening in the middle, of course).

Looking like a rampage :) Quite impressive. I don't know about others, but I like it, given that I've played Risk and like it.

Risk gives you a cards which can be used to get extra troops. You can get rid of 3 cards at a time, but they have to be either: 1 - All the same type 2 - One of each type How many troops you get is dependent on if you control the land on the card or not. So it may or may not help you, I just haven't played Risk for a while to tell you how fast you can get enough cards to get extra troops for massive takeover.

Well, at least I could download and watch the .smv. I found it a rather interesting movie, but seeing as Clue is my favourite "true" board game (many consider Chess not a board game), it would be more interesting to me. It would win if there were a competition for "shortest AVI" on TASvideos. And by the way, don't call me Chalame.
You missed the Chess AVI in the NES forums then. Two round checkmate.

Dear Chalame, Like VG said, Clue for snes has been submitted and rejected already. How about you finish one of your other seven runs?

On another note, there is Clue alone for SNES, which might be interesting in its sheer speed (Probably under 25 seconds)
