I know. I'm not that hurt, honestly. I mean, outside of maybe ActRaiser...how many of my runs get watched? I mean, who's heard of Legend of Mana? ^^;;

Watch me suck at Rockman (J)! I didn't even get through the 6 bosses before running out of lives. Hell, I didn't hardly survive 30 seconds without dying. Damn I'm rusty at this. Also, Star Fox (U) v1.2 Completes Lv 1 Warped in 11:38 w/ 100%. Though I'm used to actually having time to REACT.

I would hope so. the emulation errors are mostly speed-related which is good because the SDA run of this at normal speed was REALLY boring.

I finally decided to look it over. While you accomplished a very clean 999,999 score run via a massively long continuous combo, I don't feel we need another run similar to the already published Tetris Attack runs. And also while seeing somebody pull a massively long combo is cool, it's not enough I think to classify it to be published alongside the present Tetris Attack run. Meh vote.

I'd like to see this. Not that I tried too hard, but it seemed like the door is on a regular, set schedule of open-close-open-close from the moment it appears, and getting there at the same time, regardless of position, will make it hit. I'm not ruling it out, I'm just saying I couldn't do it.
Did it. It is possible if you're as low as you can go and about centered. SMV here. Pardon my crappy gameplay, but I'm not trying to TAS it, only show that it's possible. Playing on a keyboard sucks.

That took me longer to download than to watch. No arguments here. Yes vote.
Should there be a run for every different ending?
As long as there is only for the main 4 and the secret ending. If a different character is used for a published run, then the published is ousted.

I'm aware of this.
* I had to take a hit in order to get twin blasters. It is unfortunate, but I couldn't find a way to make the door close at a different time while still boosting continuously.
I think it is but your positioning has to be dead on. I didn't do it on my speedrun at SDA though.
No demon form! Hooray!

What a wild rush. I heard Japan was a typically pacifist nation, but this is ludicrist! I LOVE IT. YES VOTE.

Hopefully somebody is still working on this. It's a great game. However I'd like to see 2 changes from the run at the top of the thread: 1) Use Expert mode. Use the infamous Komani code at the title screen (not the press start one) which unlocks expert in the options. 2) Use Eric Lecarde. He can take a number of shortcuts John can't, which will be really noticable in Stage 4. I'd love to do it myself, but I would need a lot of help. ^^;;

Great! If there aren't any other improvements, hopefully somebody should help you hexedit the rest of the video onto it, and delay the current run until either its ready, or the hexedited video is complete.

I used both names? Heh. (More like oops.) But then again, CV3 (J) and SOTN (J) use Ralph C. Belmont, but didn't CoD (J) use Trevor? Or did they use Ralph in that one too?

The run overall was great, but I remember seeing two minor spots that I think could be tweaked for improvement. 1) Block 7, the long vertical block dropping area. Why did you go off a bit further to the left for that heart? You didn't need it (you beat the boss with 2 hearts left). 2) Block 9 I think there was one minor spot where you seemed to transform from back back to Alucard a bit high, causing a short dropdown. I can't remember the exact spot off the top of my head...I'll have to rewatch. But overall, great run. Yes vote.

Once upon a time there was a statue. Ralph (aka Trevor) looked upon this statue with admiration. Suddenly, before his eyes, it cracked open, and a figured stepped out. "My name is Sypha. I'm a powerful wizard that'll help you defeat Dracula." "OK." Ralph stated. "Join me." Sypha took the lead and encountered her first boss. "COME AND FIGHT ME, YOU LITTLE WIMPY GIRL." stated the boss. Needless to say, the boss regretted that statement as it was obliterated in a couple of hits. Never EVER cross a wizard with PMS. The moral of this story is, yes vote. Now, WHO was it that wondered why we keep the Sypha run?

This game is just one bad dungeon crawler. And you obviously did your research on this game, so to reward you with your suffering, I must say this. Yes vote. BTW, I recommend a different shot. I personally found the joke early in the game about "of course you say yes, otherwise the game wouldn't go on!" funny. ^^;;

It also prevents you from rescuing Annet and Maria, leading to the bad ending. The only advantage this offers is that you save time not rescuing them, however I don't know if the Death replacement boss is faster than death. However it could be acquired as well but just skipping saving her. But the two alternate endings are non-canon and I don't like them.

My partner hope can keep original music. So sorry we didn't use the music glitch.
I wouldn't call it a "music glitch" if it's intentionally programmed in by the game developers.

What, no Super Ghouls and Ghosts music? ;_; I like that better than Shade Man's normal music. As for the switch, it's fine by me. Considering nearly all the rest of the Rockman/Mega Man games are the Japanese versions... And besides, who cares about dialogue in a Rockman game? Rockman blows up robots. Dialogue is extra banter. Yes vote.

"ACM Reported an error on audio decompress (200)" I got this error looking at the video in VirtualDub. Now, is it REALLY the media players fault? Or the compression?

Don't blame Maza, the sound works just fine. (Although, honestly, you don't want to hear them in this game anyway.)
Well, it's not just this video. There's about half a dozen recent ones (most which Maza did) that the sound is broke and I want to know why. I REALLY don't wanna install another video player. I didn't like VLC anyways. It seemed to be a really poorly setup player. I like Media Player Classic and I want to use it. If the sound really is in here, there has to be a codec that's usable.
You hush.
