Ok, I am completely new to TAS'ing. The game that I plan on attempting is Zelda: Oot. I've seen countless videos of it. I'm subscribed to Cheeseoman, Swordless link and a few others because I just love watching the videos. So I've been wanting to do this a while but put it off, but now I'm just going to go for it! Ok, so I am using the Mupen64 emulator with the 'TAS Input Plugin 0.6'. I know that with different games, different buttons hotkeyed to different areas makes everything a whole lot easier. These are my current settings: I have one question about the macros. For anyone who has done a Oot or MM TAS before, you will know of bomb hovering. Would setting the button combination required for that work properly or do I need to manually do it? Also, what does the speed modifier option do? As I am writing this, I loaded the actual rom. I notice by clicking to check the boxes labeled with the buttons, it performs that action ingame. Is it easier to just do that during the gameplay? Thanks for your help!
