i seem to recall that when you either beat ganon, or beat the four sword dungeon, you see a status screen, like "Lantern usage: [number]", does that screen ALSO say how many times you've taken damage? please help, I've been trying to beat this game without damage (1st dark world dungeon so far) and I took damage... will I see it in the status screen?

(i used to use xvid before it stopped working on my pc...) 3: if a speedrun is posted, and no other speedrun of that game is on the website, does it automatically get accepted?

i got three questions: 1: how do you do the glitch to go past the screen outside link's house when you first start? (the Zelda Text Glitch i think it's called) 2: how long would that glitch take? 3: is that the only way to glitch past screens that arent hyrule castle when you start?

I'm doing a glitched playthrough on my GBA, so far i'm at vermillion with HM01 (cut), but which badge lets you use cut? (by the way how do you do the EXP underflow glitch?)
Cerulean Gym (Misty) lets you use cut. Experience underflow isn't possible on GBA, to my knowledge, since it's able to handle larger numbers than Game Boy was.
thanks for the cut info, i do not wanna fight brock lol I seem to recall you dudes talking about skipping Rock Tunnel a few pages back, how? and how is the exp underflow glitch done? o_o

Brock and Giovanni are skipped. Anyway. There's some dillema I'm having right now. Skipping Brock means I'm at a pretty low level (level 14 just before Mt.Moon), beating the entire Nugget Bridge + Mt.Moon guys is pretty difficult (only viable with more saves). Now, I was thinking about glitching either Gyarados, Gengar or Nidoqueen. Both Gengar and Nidoqueen will be at level 100 so the trainers won't be much of a problem, however, they only have 15 PP for a 'quick' move. That's not a big problem, but it adds up. Gyarados will need a Potion after catching (I'd catch the others without damaging them) and will have a little more trouble with the fights, but he's easier and faster to glitch. It's pretty darn hard to reach the Rocket without using a save inbetween, but it's possible. Combining the chance that you'll catch Gyarados or the the 100s + walking that entire part after activating the glitch means I'd probably have to settle with one extra random battle. All in all, I just wonder what's faster. Doing it with Charmander (and Charmeleon during Nugget Bridge) or with one of the other three guys. Also, because triggering Meowth to get a Mew is hard enough so I'll stick to Slowpoke/Shellder, but Horsea is annoying because I don't think Charmeleon is really that strong because of the missing levels (and I don't have Bide) and money for Potions is out of the question. I tried the part up and with Nugget Bridge to compare that time with my old time (without saving, just testing) and I was about 2 minutes faster and that's with substracting the random battles. Help please? =(
well, if your afraid of being a low level from skipping brock, pick something that can tear through the stuff before you get your lv100 pokemon Charmeleon isnt that good of a choice cause mt. moon > him, I'm doing a glitched playthrough on my GBA, so far i'm at vermillion with HM01 (cut), but which badge lets you use cut? o.o if you were able to skip the oak's parcel bit you could make even more time (is this even possible?) Getting the lv100 poke asap is important, use Nidoqueen cause she has good attack and mediocre special, so she can use quite a bit of moves (by the way how do you do the EXP underflow glitch?)

http://www.helixgamesinc.com/gamesindex.html Jumper 2 is a crappy gamemaker game that's too freaking difficult and way too addictive for its own good. Jumper 1 is okay too. Kind of. Jumper Redux was ruined with worse collision detection and bad jumping physics.
Jumper owns in ways and sucks badly in ways IMO some stages make the controls seem god-awful due to massive reflexes needed, but the gameplay is only fun when your not on your 1000th death in world #-# *cant get past world 3-6 for his life*

[in response to the last]:well I got a few hard-drives, so I'd be a fool to use anything on the same drive as my os

You need faster RAM. What is MMO anyway? If you are producing a TAS, you don't need to care about computer / program speed; the end result is the same regardless of the speed it was created with. The same applies for creating AVIs when you use the emulators' built in functions. Also, your choice of thread title is bad. Do not start a sentence in topic and end in the post; one should be able to discern the post topic by reading only the topic title in the topic list. Please edit your post to comply.
is 0.98 GB of RAM not enough? and I dont make tases... they're fun to watch, but you guys only accept perfection, something i'm not capable of =/ and... to the last, whats the point of making a post if the topic title says it all? the "^title^" stuff is like... lmfao annoying
