Could it be shooting freezing the zoomer while waiting on door in norfair? Why would you want to sacrifice frames though, I thought that took priority over everything else. I think having the beeping health warning might speed the game up. I played the movie with game genie lose no health cheat, and it dysnced once you went to into the health warning because you fired too earlier for a door.

His job is to make threads about separate TASes, then close my thread about seperate TAS, then insult and use profanity at the forums users?

Well aren't we a model admin/forum user... My point was it's much better to have the separate thread, like the one you started. One would assume that was expected since there's a number of them and they never get closed, well accept for the one you closed.

Well the great thing about gng is that you only have beat it 4 or 5 times before you start to do things no one's done before, which only takes like 20 minutes.

Well for some reason angerfist wants my separate challenge idea in this threat even though it's not about speed running the game; why aren't any of the other threads about separate challenges not locked, such these just to name a few: http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7886 http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7581 http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7689 http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7583 http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6783 (one angerfist started) You really do a crack job of enforcing rules. Anyway, here is my post before it was locked, yes I know it should be in a separate topic, but that topic got closed, so please don't flame me for not following the rules: Ghost N' Goblins: find true ending I don't think anyone has ever beaten this game on it's highest difficulty. It was like the 5th time through were it becomes basically impossible, I think a TAS might be able to get through though. Then I wonder if it stops at a certain point and you get the true ending, or if it stops getting harder, or if doesn't ever stop getting harder, then going through until TAS can't even beat it. To go were no man has gone before, who accepts the challenge?

Has anyone tried to replicate some ISG only tricks by using TAS timed sword attacks?

Twisted Metal 2. But I can't get the load save state feature to work, like I said it loads, but is paused, frames count up in red, unpausing doesn't work, stays paused for at least 2 minutes, doesn't matter when I load.

so you're saying I just have to wait for like 5 minutes or something, that would suck for making TASes; and does anyone have links to some better plug-ins, like sound, the default one does not to TM2 justice.

Ok so I got it to work with joy2key, but I have a new problem. Whenever I load a state, it loads the state, but the emulation pauses, but the frame counter change to red and continue to count down, pressing hotkey to unpause doesn't do anything.

what's joy2key? Is that a input plugin or some macro program or something? Ya the D-pad works on all other emu, snes, gen, nes, n64 but not pcsx

Whenever I start a CD I lose the tool bar with file, options, config ect. How do I do stuff like start a new movie while a CD is running or change config? And did anyone else find they couldn't get the D-pad on their controller to be configured?

Pointing that when you say something is impossible doesn't mean it's impossible has nothing to do with my humility, I don't know where you get that from, you my sir are ridiculous and you quarrel with more people than anyone. I would humbly suggest to you that you don't quarrel so much.

hmm, well it's certainly possible to bomb your way all the up, I think you just need to get 2 bounces off each bomb which means delaying the bomb a couple frames usually. I think I could save 2 bombs by getting a boost off the top enemy, but you have to be on the other side. This would really save a lot of time for a 100% route especial if the morph jump out of the column in fact doesn't work which still has me totally baffled why I can't do it.

Ya I agree, You can save slow hostage with grenade but you need the door to be open, and for some reason 3rd slowest can't be saved with grenade, it just doesn't go through that floor, otherwise that would be an awesome strat.

Simon said that strat fails around 54, so maybe you can get 53. If the fastest the engine hostage can escape is 52 then I don't see any other strat that could work. If you did agent hostages before engine then engine would be too slow. And using the slowest hostage would be too slow unless you could get quick kill with a grenade.

Hey awhile back I posted that you can morph jump to get out the ice beam column, I vaguely remember doing it, but when I try to do it again it comes up just short, lord tom says he can't do it either. Anyone able to do this, I'm pretty sure I did it before or I wouldn't have said it was possible here. Also for 100% is it nessisary to get both icebeams?
