Here's an idea I had for getting into the wall in tourian: [/quote]

It's hard to say where samus is when you can't see her. You can see the flying bugs raise their height as you go higher then at some point they start moving at the bottom of the screen, at which point you are at the very bottom the screen, if you go up a little more you can see yourself.

I've already said I've been to kraid without missiles, you just warp down into the red door and get hit by the flying bug, knocks in you. It could be good on a non up+A run, but I don't know if you can beat kraid without freeze beam.

Ya, that what happens to me too, darn, I would have done big things with that if you could get inside the blocks. I've found you can save some time when doing the door glitch to go down, you don't have to go until your visible, you can fall out one unit before your visible. This means you don't have to go untill your above the platform that sticks out from the left wall; instead you can fall out of the wall under it. I still think there's more potential with the door glitch, I've found out a lot stuff about it, I can do a lot of things I don't think anyone else knows about.

does anyone know what happens when you try that morph jump trick into a section of floor that's more than 1 block thick?

hmm, I had no idea that trick could work through any floor. I wonder if this can be used in more places.

You have to do the backflip plus shield drop boost for ganon early, so I'm pretty sure you need a bombchu.

Don't waste a bomb, that's ridiculous. Who wouldn't rather see a superslide.

Now try to determine how precisely to act in order to accomplish a certain goal fast.
What are your choices of how to act for this case?

Agh, for christ sakes, hasn't anyone else noticed that on the over head maps you move 22% faster with dual vectoring?! I can't believe this still hasn't been used through out the two levels, it's really quite simple.

For those player boosted shortcuts, why don't you just make each level seperate, and end it when player 1 finishes. And for levels like that penquin island one use more than 2 players if it's faster. Then just put all the levels into one video. If bisqwit doesn't like it who cares. You can get way more views on youtube.

some nice lines of code could break it down and come up with some good solutions.

If you can death warp after getting no sword then clearly route 3 is faster, here's why: You will get to LH faster because the super slide is quicker and KF to HF is faster than, death warp + ToT to HF. Then death warping to ToT from LH or fishing pond is faster than playing the song. So that is: after FT to FP route 3>2 and FP to ToT 3>=2. If Acryte thinks 1 is faster than 3 I would at least do a quick run through of that to see if it's anywhere close.

I actually hope this run comes out at like 2:01 and that will be enough inspiration to run it again and cut off a minute. Because when I think this is all said and done there will be at least a minute that could be saved with more optimal gameplay, more effecient bomb pickups, more super sliding, killing self with shield droped bombchus instead of bombs, and maybe new and better strategies that will be discovered.

With this new trick, you do the first SS hover and barely make it to the door. Is there anyway you could do the slide from somewhere closer or higher or maybe the same spot but do a back flip shield drop boost ontop onto the door so you don't have to stair case up to it? Also if your getting more bombs now, will you be able to do the minuet skip?

Has anyone tested if you can do the item manipulation in ToT? That would save at least 10 seconds. I'd test 3 out to be sure.

So when are you going to figure out how the code for the random item drops works so you can calculate what button pressing sequences will lead to the desired item drop?

Is the lost woods one faster than the KF one, if so I'd restart and do that. Giving up a few seconds would be a crime when you play the whole time to cut 1/60 of a second off where ever you can.

They use control style 1.2 or 2.3 and prolly keyboard, the movement keys are straight forward just like a PC fps, then for aiming they have to change to the joystick sensitivity a lot and go frame by frame.

I thought you had to block an explosion with sheild to store a ground jump? How are you storing a ground jump in all this? Could you store it before going through the door? Could you use a bomb behind the door instead of bombchu? Could you finish the trick if the cut scene started mid roll?

Too bad you couldn't super slide from the moat gate to KV, in KV twice, and DMT, those were 4 long streches. How many bombchus are you going to need, maybe you could have saved some bombs by killing yourself with bombchus, also can't you shield drop bombchus so they det instintly? Also, you said you made it to the castle guards with 10 seconds before night, if that's true you could have saved 2 bombs by not doing the those two small super slides.
