This somehow reminds me of a TAS where it was enough to press start once to win the game. I don't remember exactly, Teletubbies or something like that.

Not optimized in the slightest. That first key, you obtain it on frame 1709. Meanwhile, I managed to grab it on frame 1619. You made it quite clear that you didn't use TAStudio to help aid you in this submission when I was looking over your input. Especially with all the mashing during lag frames. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Update: Round 1 Complete (1st frame of Black Screen) Lars - 6299 Me - 5771 I shall point out on the final phase at the top, I screwed up, but still managed to complete the first round faster. I ain't going to work on this anymore, I just wanted to complete a round, even though what I did too is not optimal in the slightest either.

<Nach> SpikedMuffin: Also, if I were you, I'd redo this TAS with lsnes, and doing so, you can probably make an even shorter movie, since lsnes doesn't have BH's silly limitation of requiring input frames to equal video frames
Well, here it is. lsnes version Prof Plum | Rope | Library I hope someone who can handle lsnes much better than me to look into the input.

I would... but...
<Mothrayas> I still find it tenuous to obsolete a run entirely because of different rng
<Mothrayas> I said this a million times by now and still haven't seen anything to convince me otherwise
<Mothrayas> or anything that convinces me that the run can be counted as an actual gameplay improvement
Unless an "actual" reason to uncancel it like, a console verification:
<dwangoAC> I do not own Clue but I do have the appropriate hardware to console verify this...
<dwangoAC> I don't know if I want to confess that though :)

I might have to look into it again, as it doesn't look like bumping saves any time, it's more of an entertainment tradeoff... well, except for that last bump on stage 1 where it's actually useful and faster... I'll do a no bumps over a large area to verify it, and upload that one and bring out an answer... also it gives me an excuse for a second and possibly much better route.

Did this on FCEUX yesterday, found out that NesHawk can actually show it, instead of random garbage. -video deleted- Scratch that, I fixed my issues, so I can use FCEUX just fine. Here's the first 2 levels done. Link to video

For the end of game, you can let the TAS run until the kill screen.
Kill screen is only in the Arcade port of Ms. Pac-Man, not the NES port. If you are focusing on points, you want the Arcade version for the Kill screen.

Things that I have predicted in this entire topic. 1. Sam"tastic" is going to ignore 2 of us. feos and myself. 2. Sam"tastic" is going to create a post where he "figured it out" but then delete his post with something stupid. 3. Sam"tastic" is going to end up back to square one. 4. One of us is going to be misinformed. feos... yea... 5. Sam"tastic" will forget how to count twice. So, this turns out to be a waste of our time. Regardless, I'll requote myself and feos. Samtastic, if you don't respond to this one, we are done here.

If you say that this doesn't work, you helped me predict something else that you may have done, which was part of my 4 questions and you ignored 2 of them.

That's a lie, it actually works. How many video files do you have? What are the name of the avi files? Did you make sure to remove that original line that you had? Or are you just wasting our time again?

100% when? :3 This is stupid, yes vote, stupidly entertaining... and assuming when I think I know when this is going to be accepted I'll be using this as my return to publishing... since I'm claiming this. I couldn't think of any cat related puns, my post was a catastrophe.

No, you, Sam"tastic", shush. There are other TASes that are created by other users that have higher priority than yours right now. These TASes have been sitting in the workbench longer than yours.

Using a lovely site, called Touhou Project Replay Archive. And I can also get it to the specific branch and show the TAS flag, which is this. And apparently, the one with a YouTube video is under 13 minutes.

So... this topic exists for no reason apparently to Sam?
'Cause, I asked a similar question to what you are doing now, the answer is in there. Sam"tastic" we (Publishers) aren't going to assist you anymore. You had us (fsvgm777, feos, Anty-Lemon, Guga, Sheela901 and Myself) do backflips for you, trying to figure out what you want to do. You ended up failing on us, wasting our (specifically fsvgm777) time, we're done.

Light Spike: User movie #28440259759482708 I am not going to figure out when this input actually ends. This entire input makes me question the RR count, it reminds me of the Crash Bash TAS which had little to no effort. Refraining from voting.
