used SWF file provided by speedrun resources
That's not good. Mainly cause if this is a modified file from the version available on Newgrounds then we need to know what elements were removed (if any) from the srcom version. Especially if this will follow the repeat issues of previously submitted Newgrounds TASes. This is more of a Staff question. Even though as a standalone this is called "Fleeing the Complex" is it more fair to call it by the full title of Henry Stickmin 5: Fleeing the Complex?

Bandicoot Power~! Shame what happened with Rolling Stones which removes a level return (which is pretty awesome), but it was late in development, that the loss of it kinda shows the age of this TAS practically immediately, but all in all it's real great work implementing every known trick at the time. I'll be claiming the Bandicoot for Publication.

The game takes longer to "confirm" an answer when you shorten it. because of the perfect inputs possible in a TAS, typing a few extra letters can often cost less frames then the frames lost by those delays.
If I remember correctly, feos and Spikestuff provided proofs that word cuts do save time in previously rejected submissions.
Different game. Also this is something quickly validated, the truncating the words actually don't help in any way cause the game checks for it. It's only in the last question where truncating is actually worth anything.

Answers can be truncated. First game alone: TIME -> TIM NEWSWEEK -> NEWSW US NEWS -> USNEWS -> UNSE PEOPLE -> PEOP SENOR -> SEN MONSIEUR -> MISEUR -> MISE HAIR -> HAI MAMA -> MAM MILK -> MIL JOG 6 BULL -> BUL "2 controllers/players" is in my opinion an unimportant thing to mention, as the only thing player 2 is used for is inputting the family name as quickly as possible.

I don't get this. Like the hack makes no sense when you account the current Publication: [4490] N64 Super Mario 64 "1 key" by Tyler Kehne, mkdasher, sonicpacker, snark, SilentSlayers, ToT, Plush, Dabs, Gaehne D, Eru, sm64expert, dar gos, Superdavo0001 & IsaacA in 04:18.98 And the previous major category: [2016] N64 Super Mario 64 "0 stars" by snark, Kyman, sonicpacker, MICKEY_Vis11189 & ToT in 05:02.25 And even when you compare to the one this directly challenges in a vanilla game: [987] N64 Super Mario 64 "1 star" by mr_roberts_z & Rikku in 06:42.65 Like the site has pre-existing TASes that are faster than this... unmodified. But also when searching for this on YouTube there's this TAS from 4 years ago demonstrating this hack: Link to video

File correction to correct that Platform, and a double shot that shouldn't have existed that made its way in.

Author input overextends and should end at frame 316. Created my own movie file which improves over that by 5 frames. Not doing anything with this file as mentioned prior this is a bug on Ruffle as this is the unintended behavior compared to normal "gameplay". Also on observation, you have your RTA timing listed wrong on your title.

Yeah I'm also curious about max position that you can get from the standalone Flash (even if it's resolution base, then we'd know it works), compared to running it in Ruffle. But also, lol the second Flash TAS that's going to be a YouTube Short.

Ooooooooo another 3DS. Kinda want to claim this one... since scripts do be the first thing I developed for Citra and was trialed by someone else, so I want a full crack at it as well.

Original nicovideo version which also shows the final time to avoid any confusion with the title of a YouTube bloatload (59:57.34): https://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm15562485

Does this post constitute a replacement request to the updated file, or is there another procedure?
Yup, pretty much. A Judge (or a person of rank with this ability) would then just double check that it syncs, and then replaces the file around.

Just make sure to truncate correctly, if you're unable to correct that you just need to do it in a basic text editor like notepad and cull off any input post your last. And then upload it to your userfiles and request a replacement to the updated file. Like so: Light Spike of 312 frames where the author forgot to remove input.

Regarding the route, I think I don't know about this game more than its creator does, whose route this movie matches, so I think it's good.
The routing was originally following the bog standard but once I reached the end, I had a look at the creator's route which was actually faster by several frames, so I rerouted to match theirs (after experimenting other sections).
