Cock Duping is a trick that was known for a while but a reference video was made about it just recently. Link to video It works on all stages but Astro Land.

2-2 is loving you (I don't know, trying think of something clever to bump with but I have nothing) Possibly a good Skip in 2-2 for TAS: http://www.twitch.tv/esgpuppetmaster/c/6301441 And probably wrong warping or something that I don't understand: http://www.twitch.tv/esgpuppetmaster/c/6301465

Another consideration is [2727] SNES Classic Kong Complete by Fortranm in 02:12.76, a homebrew SNES port of Donkey Kong. If DKOE and DK NES were both kept, we'd have three published ports of Donkey Kong, of which the two NES versions are very similar.
Don't worry, there are many other versions of Donkey Kong yet to be done. Arcade, 2600, 7800, ColecoVision, Commodore 64, MSX, etc. etc.

My vote is Meh. Just watching something that is better than Die Hard (stairs) for a quite a long time, doing something then continuing doing the stairs, I really don't find entertaining.

Oh my God you're useless and dumb. Post #403272 Post #403276 I already mentioned that but your selective mind continued to bring up the 3DS version.

Cool, useless fictional information given by electricslide. As it was dumped from the Wii version NOT the 3DS version. So to repeat myself. "©1983 - 2010 NINTENDO" The shit are you on about? Oh I can quote too!
Two different ports of Donkey Kong have appeared on Virtual Console. The first, released in 2006, is essentially a direct port of the NES version, while the second, entitled Donkey Kong Original Edition (ドンキーコング オリジナルエディション), attempted to adhere to the arcade version, and was pre-installed for the European release of the Mario 25th Anniversary limited edition red Wii in 2010.

Eh, let me just download the input for the fifty millionth time. Right, Simple explanation on your input about your shooting. At some points your shooting is this: B,B,B, ,B,B,B At other points your shooting looks like this: B,B, ,B,B, , ,B, , ,B,B Sometimes both. What it's meant to look like is this: B, ,B, ,B, ,B In other words rapid fire. Also I got it down to 270262 frames from the Light Fix. (Also managed to kill Totaku faster and not move right away from the ship. Instead I moved a bit left before killing the input and the ship.) But due to how suboptimal this is I am not going to bother fixing it up properly.

Yea, I'm going to have to leave a couple of statements about this TAS. sigh Your starting input is unoptimal. Cannot be modified due to RNG. You go pacifist for certain parts, it's better to not go pacifist through this game. Your energy always returns to 64 you should have it at a higher number to save time when you complete a stage. Your fights are unoptimal like all hell. You can defeat Totaku much faster (and other ships)... which means... Your shooting is rubbish. Try again. Or don't... either one.

Disagreed strongly with Goddess Maria's earlier judging decision. I still don't see how a slower, arbitrary goal is vaultworthy. ... Don't obsolete, just reject this.
And this is a reason why we cannot go with your judgement. Do you understand what it means to have an extra stage(s) in a game? (I would also add Gex: Enter the Gecko into this but no one is TASing the PS version of this game only N64.)

And a common theme by this user is apparently watching the ending sequence. Light Fix.

[2015-03-09 00:35:55] <turska> inciting vault/moons wars is apparently my specialty after hydlide, but judging a 6/0/0 run with 0 comments
Yo! People, I know we have a living community. Get your behinds in here and... What am I on about? coughs Can we please get some feedback on this TAS to not make it a living hell for the future judge. Also voting Yes for entertainment but don't you dare obsolete the NES original. Edit: And you guys are daring, for pete sakes. Link to video

Here's a "Light Fix" which ends at the earliest input end. I didn't verify with the game if it could be ended earlier. This is also to remove any headache for anyone questioning the time to the previous.

Looks at the TAS. Looks at the 41 frame improvement. Loads up meld to compare input. What in the world am I looking at?
