After watching this, despite all the luck manipulation done in the run (especially with the use of Joker Doom), I can't really bring myself to rate the technical rating any higher than "6" when we have a published movie that does both this and FFV simultaneously yet somehow ends up faster than this run.
Considering the fact this run was created 2006 it was an impressive TAS for it's time. Also like there isn't any other run in tasvideos that are slower in comparison to today standards in speedrunning. Nah I cannot think of any. Also you can guess what's next on my list to do. It's that TAS of all TASes.
hint: It's nothing.

so what you're saying is "When this baby hits 88 miles per hour... you're gonna see some serious shit." But obviously in English... then again I don't know French so I don't know exactly what RealMyop does unless there are subs (which there are in some "webisodes."

Dude there was an old play center that I used to go to that had three of those. I remember that one was Super Mario 64 and the other was Yoshi's Island... from memory I think the last one was Mario Kart. Nice find and nice lady.

From my point of view it's 14 votes 1 No/10 Yes/3 Meh. 71.43% is Yes no mentioning of Vaulting too. 21.43% is Meh which is directed to vault. 7.14% is No which is keep this off tasvideos, there is always a No so this doesn't count. So right now it should be going towards Moons and not Vault unless the Yes voters mention it was directed to vault which will change the stats.

So it was both a failure of an established member to realise when he was being a jerk and a failure of a mod to realise they could actually do something to change the the situation.
true is a jerk, the reason they cannot do anything is because they know it's all for play. true is actually nice once he drops the "*being a dick" card. He actually is quite helpful at times... yes this person has helped me one hands worth. No-one truly can understand true... it's his persona... he will try to get under your skin... he technically did that to you... just ignore him or treat his comments as jokes. It's hard, I know, I've been down that path whenever true confronted me, I usually ignore him if he starts "being a dick". Everyone can be trusted... just some aren't very open.
*I always called it, him being a dick.

You should be showing the console verified version of the TAS, because of the timing differences. NES emulators emulate at 60fps, but NTSC plays at 59.94fps
Well I wish there was an actual recording of it. Rather than a camera.

Uh, actually Spikestuff, Microstorage's movie time calculation is incorrect (it uses 60 fps instead of the 59.73 fps the GBA actually runs at). The correct time will likely be 7:00.56.

Last Version (CoolMatty) This is a form of comparison between the RTA and the TAS I know it's not really what you're looking for but it's a form. Edit: Rendering out a newer version of this RTA and TAS comparison so that Andrew has his newer run shown instead. EDIT 2: Here's a new version: Link to video

It's a little hard for me to touch youtube, so I didn't watch your upload yet. I encoded by myself and uploaded to nico.
got4n's statement was towards me.... and it still doesn't answer my question. T.T

Still not sub 7 :( ... Yes vote~ Edit: Question. You uploaded it to nico at 30fps (29 to be exact). Nico does a full 60fps... why didn't you upload it as 60fps?

But he says in the description he CHOSE v2.0 even after knowing about v2.1... or at least that's the impression I got (If he did indeed begin making the TAS before v2.1's release then fair enough in this case). Also I edited in one final paragraph in to my last post.
*Sighs*

In the case of VVVVVV, and this run, it's absolutely not an issue, for a few reasons: 3. The version of the game you download from Steam is still 2.0, so the 2.1 linked on the distractionware forums is not even the main commercial version.
Rydian wrote:
And the reason version 2.0 is still the version of VVVVVV that Steam users are getting is because 2.0 is the most recent official "release", which is what pertains to this run..
Rydian wrote:
Also... 2.0 is still the current version (and I can use R to kill myself in it). Anything past that is a beta released on the forums. This has already been posted.
Edit: Also Masterjun would only know about this because of the last 6 pages of this forum discussion. Edit 2: Oh and there isn't a confirmed update onto 2.1 "10 player levels (17 in 2.1.beta)" BETA. IT'S NOT EVEN FINAL.
