I really want to point something out in encoding 'cause I thought this was unique and nice... and this is probably the 50th million time I'm re-encoding Crash 2 *sigh*. Using Sounds (3 versions) can show off different effects: TAS sound plugin 0.2 (default): - Choppy like hell - When finished doesn't go on (Cortex's Dialog) Seal Audio Driver - Captures most of the audio - When finished doesn't go on (Cortex's Dialog) Pete's MIDAS Audio Driver - Captures most of the audio (bit more than seal) - When finished doesn't go on (Cortex's Dialog) Why am I pointing out all this? Well if I was ever to re-encode another game, TAS sound plugin doesn't have to be the only one I can use, instead I can just use another one that can sync. (so sadly no P.E.Op.S. DSound Audio Driver 1.x (or Eternal SPU Plugin 1.xx) = 100% perfect on sound... but still useable for intros and credits (especially Crash 2)), one that can actually produce better sound than nothing at all. I'm just pointing it out there. Edit: And yes this is technically relevant because it has the word ENCODING in it (just if someone goes to me and writes something about this being a screenshot area)

I really like this. I was thinking of encoding some older tas runs (Webnation uploads) but some actually gave me deysnc (eg. Umihara Kawase Shun Desyncs at the start). So I'm very pleased about seeing a project that will eliminate any desync.

From the looks of it, that is true. What he is saying is that the knockdowns are suboptimal, timewise. It would probably be faster to skip the final knockdown hit of each combo, and go for a reset instead.
I would convert to a no because of this... but I have nothing to say. Just leave mine as Meh, don't need to change it to a no. The run is now obviously going to be rejected for - combos - No resets shown correct? (simplest way)

This isn't 100% perfect (at one point I get myself stuck for about a second) but trying to get Joka's cycles was. Link to video I have to go through him twice as no rng (unless enemies) are done as it's a strict pattern 3 hits, change, 3 hits, change, 2 hits, die.

Update: Well klonoa has been fun over the whole year finding out that everything needs to be fixed after getting to 4-2 and then getting to 2-2 and having to figure out to get a perfect boss fight, then finding out I HAD DESYNC AT RONGO... I am giving up for now. Whoever wants to pick up any% go for it. If you want to compare to me KEEP THIS IN MIND When you are tassing and you are complete and submit it, I will look for the weak level and compare against it and if this is the case I will be voting Meh and proving it. Timer starts (in tas) on the opening of a game so think of it as HappyLee's SMB the time says 04:57.31 in TAS time, with sda timing it would be ~04:54.xx Hope that clarifies it for you. Edit: Look at the ingame time 13:18 (RTA WR), 12:33 (TAS) just to let you know more where the timer actually starts.
