In the first 10 seconds I already thought of this: If the game supports playing without a memory card inserted, check if not having a memory card is faster. Not all the drop-downs seemed optimal, what happens if you slow down? Do you land closer to the ledge you dropped down from? Try also to jump down? Or does that work but it slower overall?
Accounted Cancel instead of accepting (Don't know how to have a removed memorycard for PSXjin) when I walked off and jumped off it was basically same spot same frame but the jump was a few frames infront of walking down (talking about the intro jump down) oh wait I was hallucinating again :/ WOW I just did something stupid time is 69.469 (odd) but before entering the level I was slow it was because I was hitting start and X and not only start

NTSC version Link to video Alright I have just started it doing it as an any% using damage abuse when needed. I thought the Wii version will take forever to do so why not just do the original version (and sometimes faster rendered version in some games). I started this game on 7th April 2012 finished it the day after I was like :O best ending EVAR I was shocked. So I basically have very fine memory on everything on this game especially jumping is slower than walking :/ which made me upset abit.

Spikestuff, that was impressive as hell. I hope the graphics can be fixed eventually.
We (me and my partner) hope so too as we keep going with the glitchy graphics and we will be taking our time on the glitched out levels like Under Pressure. Edit: It hit Page 2 WOO

It's not exactly that long. I can beat the Wiimake in about an hour. I would like to see the Wii version over the PSX, but I'll take whichever I can get.
For cut-scenes I saw that PSX is indeed faster than the Wii version by afew frames but why can't we have both Klonoa they both have control differences. bump. Reason why is because I decided to pickup this game after a long long time I'm hooked on it again :D and I might tas it MIGHT

does anyone know about version differences in this game? I've heard people saying in JP version some techniques are faster while in others they aren't, that mixing PAL CD with NTSC PlayStation (or viceversa) makes Crash run faster, that PAL is faster on some levels and slower on others, that diagonal jumping/zigzag works with some controllers and not with others…
In order of speed: PAL NTSC JAP Different Techniques on both the NTSC (JAP and U) and PAL NTSC: Neutral Slide Jump is the Key PAL: Slidespin zigzag oh also BUMP! Link to video

Pretty much, the core of our emu is crap beyond sanity levels. Our magicians made already a huge work to get psxjin in its current state, but it also depressed them since its bad code, the result is that they wont patch core stuffs but just cosmetics issues, if it was to really work on a psx emulator again, they would make a new one from scratch basicly. (read, psxhawk)
hm... cannot find that... I think what would make it easier if part of the code came from the PSXfin emulator as there is 0 bugs 0 lags and works on any PC unsure of macbook :/ damn those codes

Crap... so there is no other tas emulator for psx that's good enough and not broken until someone else picks it up if that's what you're saying

Crap... me and my friend Rixer has started tassing Crash 3 tassing and we stumbled upon this... we were fine with everything until the graphics bug on this level... also that crash would disappears majority of the time of the water levels. Hope the next update fixes that issue ;D Edit: The reason Why we aren't using PCSX-rr is because we both have different glitches for some reason.

another idea is to buy a HDTV and actually buy a dvd recorder with HDMI out. I notice that I don't have any lag on my tv with the DVD recorder and also you can do speedruns with the DVD recorder when you put the avi cables in :D
True wrote:
I'm highly sensitive to input lag, and I don't notice it on my PN59D7000 (Samsung 59" High End Plasma)
Hey I think we have the same TV :D Okay so here is a top 5 I'm look at on T3 mag (Australia) issue 134 thanks to my dad who bought it and was going to throw it in the trash then I grabbed it from the recycle bunch we have before we put it in the bin. Samsung UA55D8000 Sony Bravia KDL-46HX280 LG 55LW-6500 Sharp Aquos LC-40LE834 x Panasonic Viera TX-P5OGT30 I honestly DONT recommend the Sony Bravia range as on a PS3 if you play a PS1 game you would notice a bit of lag I don't know why that's the case there was a HDMI (speed) cable running from the PS3 to the Bravia so who knows. These are all compatibly with RGB cables don't know about the Sharp model as all it shows was the side and front not the back
