It only matters to me what is on the tasvidz channel. Please reassess your post with this in mind.
as long as the title changes to WIP #2 cause then it actually makes sense

Someone has to take over for CTR... I cannot do a tas on this due to the emulators (both psxjin and pcsx-rr) are being complete "Peaches" about running this game and the function of my controller but what's worse is that psxjin Savestates are whiny and stupid when you view in playback. Ill still give out useful hints thats possible (or Just possible) to do in RTA and TAS so have fun whoever will take over :D

I have been taking down some notes that I would like to share. when you go Adventure > New Game 2 to the right is Tiny and 3 to the Left is Dingodile. There is a very specific trick that allows you to spam tap left when you exactly on the first second see Crash, now the difference between Dingodile and Tiny is that Tiny is a bit more difficult and annoying to control. @Crash Cove the way you should do the short cut is to bypass the ramp go into the water with boost and go up, alternately you can clip onto the ramp during a drift and do the exact same. @Roo's Tubes try and get a boost before meeting a ramp that goes down this allows the character to be boosted forward faster as the game doesn't know what to do to you. @Mystery Caves AVOID that "Shortcut" cause it actually isn't much of a shortcut as it slows you down (While RTAing this track i got 46seconds from shortcut on 2nd lap and on final not using shortcut I got 44seconds) also use those turtles to your advantage it's best to get on one thats going down when in mid boost as you can get on 2 and be flung forward. Going to Sewer Speedway Make sure your turn is sharp when drifting if it isn't you will get dialogue. @Sewer Speedway 2 things to keep out for #1 the obvious hole in the wall at the very start enter it when you get to the "Bridge" Jump/Drift down if you took the route you will stay neck and neck with the AI's/people (I'll link something soon to prove my point). #2 when you enter the sewer with the massive gap use the sides when drifting when you're about to go out (the one with 4 boxes lined up) Drift on the left side as it performs a very nice drift will turning (video for that soon when in EDIT). This is for N.Sanity Beach (island) I'll get to the other ones soon Edit: I like to Point out Polar Pass there are 2 shortcuts 1 obvious one past seals jump over... the other one is a bit more death abuse wise MUST have 10 waumpa ready to lose. The shortcut works at the 2 ramp jumps you need speed for this so you must boost alot before getting there when you hit first ramp go right hit R1 (or L1) to make the character jump to the other half of the track if you nip it you are over there (keep in mind this is extremely annoying death abusing but a good speed up if you used polar or pura on this track you will still be alive Dingodile and Tiny are most like going to clip the edge) if you fall and die you will show up on this other side This was done RTA on my PS3 as Dingodile it was very rage educing :D Ok Video is done (while i was writing all that about Polar Pass) so here: Link to video Reminder it was for the track Sewer Speedway, that taking the full "shortcut" is slower than going around and then the second video is the way I was describing it up there Edit 2: Here is the MOST ANNOYING SHORTCUT in this game it's at polar pass the hardest is for Tiny and Dingodile keep that in mind. When I did this shortcut I put the camera close to Dingodile (I usually have it further back) It helps alot more that having it far back. Link to video Edit 3: With My Friend PeteThePlayer he told me there was a harder shortcut longer gap and most likely death. I knew I wasn't going to get uka uka under RTA so I put a cheat in to make it easier and just used it one as if I manipulated it out of a box. Link to video

Now this is starting to look really good! I am glad that my RAM watch file is of use. While I was looking for the velocity values I found that spinning under water makes Crash move at the speed of 3 for a short while, while he can only move at a speed of 2 while mashing A. See if you can combine these for a speedup. For future WIPs, do consider also posting the VBM, you can use microstorage for uploading the input files: http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php
Ok thats kinda confusing I even slew down the run just to have a closer look it does also go to 4 as some points the aku part is taken to account. Bosses i shall move freely i just didn't know what to do as i had to be behind him the whole time Ok.... so then ill post the latest one now: http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1434877900/new-Crash%20Bandicoot%20-%20the%20Huge%20Adventure.vbm

What run are you going to do ? Adventure ? The cups ? And after some test, I can confirm that Dingodile and Tiny are exactely the same, in every condition (going straigth, turning, acceleration, boost, ect.). If you try adventure mod, Tiny can be choose a little bit faster, but his voice is annoying... sorry for my bad speaking, english is not my mother tongue :)
We all know that these 2 are the same overall but it has to be under who is faster to choose quite obviously with only 3 left Dingodile is. The speed is exact Tiny and Dingodile have no difference between the two and yes Adventure mode is the one im doing hopefully both any% and 100% and hopefully if psxjin gets an update. Like to add that hitting Triangle at language screen speeds up the entire game as there is no dialogue and skipping the mask (aku or uka) is shorter by afew frames. Your English isn't that bad... Sad to say im currently working on Huge Adventure and Side tracking with a RTA of Crash Team Racing soon

Also kept to the 4 shots only rule with Dingodile. Escape death in level 3. went through level 2 as quickly as possible I also want to know ontop of aku invisibility trick if there is a faster way under water is it just spam A or is there also spinning in water (Like Crash 3) Speed you up. Used Ram Watch Provided by Warepire *Hugs* and also slew my emulator down to get the perfect swimming and the perfect slide spinning (also getting into levels) It sounds like the game has a dark side

No core fixes other than SPU have been implemented in PSXjin, so all graphic glitches are there. Additionally, our main CPU/GPU programmer is no longer interested in PSXjin, so it is highly unlikely additional fixes will come down the line.
YAY GRAPHICAL GLITCHES *sigh* Welp looks like I know what type of run ill be doing a emulator glitched up one well thanks anyway Ill keep u up to date for the WIP going on if not I will be uploading it complete in the fourms (if it beats the other run in RTA)

of course it was subpar that was the point Im showing that Im having (and still having) graphical glitches with this game on psxjin and having no response from pcsx is having a fit of some kind.... also i notified that i was using my keyboard hence the lack of save-stating, and that my controller wasn't hooked up. If you pay attention to my other videos I show that I know how to play this game as it was part of my childhood by seeing what you wrote is a complete blind gamble at not paying attention to what i have written before stating I wasn't using a controller.

The slide-spinning and swimming didn't seem really optimal in your WIP. I threw together a watch-file for you that monitors X and Y velocity of normal + swimming levels and bonus levels. I hope this helps you a bit. To load it, go: Cheats -> RAM Watch -> File -> Open, then choose this file.
Yes i am having the trouble for swapping between PAL and NTSC quite obvious when I stopped in Level 5 that I paused. This will help alot thank you very much

In Dingodile: Can't you hit him sooner if you stay closer to his shield when it goes down? I see that you are not as close as possible, in the first hit you're almost half a centimeter away.
In Dingodile you can make the minimum of shots 4 and if you use damage abuse on the last 2 hits the Warp Room will be faster due to the invisibility frames of Dingodile the only thing that can hit him is when Crash has Aku on him. This is going to be some harsh WIPing this game cause as you see I am.... Link to video Slower in the NTSC version and alot faster in PAL because of one level (level 3) I slew down a bit by the way loading times are faster in pal than that of NTSC so there was 2 disadvantages but the one disadvantage for PAL is N.gin He is alot faster on PAL also I had a minor pause in Warp Room 5 for some stupid reason obviously the WIP will be fixed when completed

Hows about if you Randil, turbofa and me do a TAS on this game as we both have full potential of beating my time (which is under PAL) of the total time of 38:12.78 yes my submition was updated by the looks of the video you linked as it too was slower than turbofa's run at the start but the main part of the run is at Warp Room 2 and 3 as the bosses will slow you down also hint in Level 2 go up not down the bomb trust me you wont get hit and you save tons of time

to anyone doing this as a tas or a speedrun (RTA) take the advice. Use PAL version as when your at language screen hit TRIANGLE also this is also an advantage due to cut-scenes being speedup due to this "Glitch". Also between PAL and NTSC the very start NTSC has 2 loading screens PAL has 1 and that during the very entry of the Adventure mode you are in a disadvantage state due to uka uka/aku aku as they will talk to you for ever compared to PAL. Also the runner of the RTA was running on PAL (which is quite obvious so I won't get into any detail about that)

That looks nasty. I assume you played this in PSXjin 2.0.2? It looks like an extreme case of Z-depth inaccuracy... A Z-depth inaccuracy means that the emulator fails to get the correct Z-value (how far away into the game world an object) of the graphics so it doesn't know what order to draw them. Which means objects will disappear or have stuff further into the game world drawn on top of them. Did you try to enable various graphical fixes (or combinations of them) in the Graphics Configuration? Does that improve anything or make stuff worse? Also try to enable the Error Console in the Options Configuration and see if you get any interesting errors.
Psxjin 2.0.2 was used but im still experiencing graphic glitches :( the exact same one.... I'll have a look at the Perfect configuration on the fourms Edit: I might go to pcsx-rr if i have to Edit 2: with my friend shadowdevil he showed me his settings yet it still wont work correctly

That would be for arcade mode as Polar or Pura as they are Begginer Controls and they convert to the same stats on arcade mode so there's a good one to do for anyone (Pura and Polar are evenly match and there is no other weak character) Arcade Mode > Cup > Hard > Polar/Pura > Cup 1> Cup 2> Cup 3> Cup 4 Planning to do a TAS on Adventure Dingodile and Tiny are both Advanced and have the exact stats to each other people choose Dingodile more as they say Tiny is more annoying
