Input contains a lot of RTA mashing and blank ending input and some random extra input where it should have ended earlier. Light Spike to remove the blank input only (828 frames). I am not adjusting for the extended input that's present. DarkToonLink is an RTA runner of the game as a note. A suggestion is to update that ending input to not contain any of the extra input after final input this worsens your TAS time for an unnecessary reason. Also please use the English Title of the game.

I watched the previous one and understood the Vault tier, and I watched this one and all I can think about still is that this is a Vault movie. I voted Meh. The new glitch caught me off-guard and it was cool to see. However, the downtime for other levels kinda put it back into that well, this is just scrolling without like anything truly entertaining.

Joining Hey Arnold! in the taken down by companies. Rainbow Srl has hit the publication to Winx Club on YouTube. Blocked Worldwide including the US and Canada. We'll treat Winx Club like Hey Arnold! and actually wait and see if the takedown gets removed and the video becomes reinstated on its own.

Length of Game =/= Length of time spent TASing. A minute TAS could take a month (or more) to create for example. But. If you insist that want a little longer game, and show that you have what it takes to TAS then: The Tengen version of Ms. Pac-Man on Mini Co-op should be able to teach you what you should learn. (I recommend the NES version since smaller hurdle to jump) Or that Vectrex game you so very much wanted to do... Mine Storm II. That has some things that can help you better understand how to TAS. Just gunning it never works. It only works AS LONG AS YOU PUT IN THE TIME.

For the sake of it, let's do that compare game. Even though it's obvious that it's not needed as stated by previous comments. And when you can hypothetically say this game was made in an hour. Left is my old input, Right is you. Again to echo that post from almost a year ago. I don't do platformers for TASes (in most cases). So there may or not be issues with my input. However, in the 3 parts I'm showing off. I still reckon it's important enough to compare to and quickly show what's wrong.

As you can see, this movie is over 2 seconds slower than the rejected movie, which itself was rejected due to poor optimization.
If you Spiked the ending input to have a jump instead it's 4 frames slower not 2 whole seconds. This isn't an improvement in any ways since it's still slower but it is a far cry from 2 seconds. And then you add 23 frames and realize it's 27 frames slower than submission. I'm probably off by a frame with my numbers but whatever it's still slower than the rejected submission.

Number One: I didn't move it. But all your questions that you created new topics are simple general questions so don't make a dummy spit about it. Number Two: Do you have Read-Only mode enabled in some way? Alternatively here's a good point. Switch to Hawk if you don't want to deal with these avoidable "headaches".

Please come up with an actual reason why you can't use something that has all the tools for you than that excuse. Because "easier to run" and "runs better than" is not a reason unless it's for casual use.

You use your things called the save states, and the load states, and the frame advances.

Gex is TASable on BizHawk's Octoshock core (PS1) and also the Sega Saturn core.

TBH, I really want to see a Dreamcast or maybe even 3DO core in BizHawk.
As examples for the porting process: 3DO: opera-libretro (LibRetro Port of 4DO) is the only option. Everything else is either bad, closed source and great (Phoenix) or bad and closed source. Dreamcast: DEmul is the best option to take, however there is a big, big "closed source" next to it. Everything else doesn't match it unfortunately. (Basically Dreamcast should be shelved for future developments)

Really? Cause what you wrote on the first post implies it:

Please don't do categories that you shouldn't be doing when you can't even complete a single game that actually shows your TASing ability.

SHORT STORY: My TAS is slower than WR RTA due to RTAs using different consoles with better load times (PS2/PSTV). Does this fact disqualify my TAS from the Vault category?
As long as you mention the fact that the only things available for comparison uses FDS you're fine. (You're also fine not mentioning it cause someone would probably answer in the forum posts if it's brought up) We have many PlayStation TASes since Hawk's introduction that are slower than Fast Disk (obviously) we wouldn't reject something for something like that.

Actually it's important. If you're a rookie (which you are) being provided with information about what improves can be made to your TAS is actually beneficial. You're actually learning something. You should be appreciative of this information, not dismissive.

Number One: I meant how easy is it to TAS with DeSmuME and Arcade emulators. (I shoulda been clearer, that's my fault.) Number Two: For the cores thing I meant: Taking the .dll, turning it into it's own .exe that can run without a frontend, and giving it TASing features.
MAME-RR: It exists. That's all you're getting from me. FBA-RR: It also exists and likes to crash sometimes, compatibility mode to win 7 helps and the method is that of classic TASing. DeSmuME: Same as above, only substitute crashing for free desyncs and you have to deal with a touch screen. Number Two: Ha, no. It's a process and a half to actually create a core. Also RetroArch uses older builds and is never up to date on some of their cores.

10 years old for the person in question. You just failed basic addition/subtraction (to the comment). In referral to the bump that's 3 years old... Also, also. Yabause existed for TASing Saturn games before Hawk. Meaning your comment falls basically flat on everything.

Coming from the guy who didn't know how to create a submission with a bk2 file "cause it's too big" even after being told what to do.

First One: DeSmuME exists. What is wrong with you? Second One: FBA-rr and MAME-rr exists. What is wrong with you? Side Note: You can find this information on the Emulation TAB when you're at the homepage of TASVideos. Third One: You can use the dll in BizHawk and TAS the core you want. THIS IS NOT RECOMMENDED. Fourth One: You upload it to user files. Fifth One: Tetris.

Number One: Genesis works perfectly for me on Kega.
To repeat myself from another thread yesterday to here. No 2 emulators are the same. You can't compare Kega to Hawk. Also, Kega's not even BizHawk's upsteram. I wrote the upstream of what that is. It's Genplus-gx.

I have a better question. If Genesis is stuttering for you why are Icarus'ing yourself by wanting to use Dolphin and PCSX2? Anyways Answers: Dolphin: Since it's more demanding it's features are a bit more bare-bones to something like BizHawk. Genplus-gx: Because your system isn't good enough? We don't know your system so we obviously aren't mind readers. PCSX2-rr: Well first you [train goes by] and that's all you need to know about how to TAS on PCSX2-rr, the emulator with so many issues.

I'm just pointing it out, it has pretty much the same submission text as the published movie's (obvious omissions are obvious). Another thing to point out to everyone else is we should probably look at the other submission cause well... that time yo (also cause I can't be bothered spiking something already spiked). (inb4 Judge updates the file and deletes the other submission) Or I'll just write three frame improvement at the very start of the gameplay. (over the proper truncated submission obviously) Tengen Tetris is a special case of set seeds. If the correct seed can be found well an improvement can be found as well like this one did... --- Adjusting PikachuMan's input towards the end to not be slow beats this movie out by 80 frames. It raised questions when it was a: Pik: 3, 1, 1, 2, 2, 2, 4, 4, 2, 3, 4, 2. versus a You: 2, 3, 1, 3, 4, 4, 2, 1, 2, 1, 1, 1, 1, 4. Meaning that yours should've been slower for going for those singles. The only reason you were 10 frames faster was due to the fact that the ending input on the published TAS was bad.

> 9 Year old System Oh yeah. That'll most likely be the reason. Probably a good idea to go for a full system upgrade. Also no 2 emulators are the same. You can't compare VICE to Hawk directly. VICE could be using methods to allow it to operate at those speeds.
