So, multi video track has been placed on the mirror link: But that doesn't mean I didn't make single video tracks, cause I did: And if for whatever reason I'm not here in the future, and something happens to the encode... here's the script for the Reduced Flashing. ...Wait... What do you mean there's a romhack that helps reduce flashing? Eh, whatever that's fine. Honestly having it more pure and "jank" like is nice.

But the biggest timesave was discovery of being able to kill two nurses at once using a glitch I discovered.
It's the same double kill that can be done within the Police Station, so technically not a discovery. I didn't have a viable setup when I went for it so the userfile where it was setting up desirable positions at the cost of a missed double kill was chosen instead. Since I made mine just as a buffer for what is on the workbench, not as a submission with the knowledge that Bonus round is bad. Same goes for Friday the 13th if you want to hijack that one. The only way to technically improve over this movie is somehow getting a triple kill with one swing on those nurses in the bonus round. Other than that nothing to note. Well besides spell my alias correctly (also to the Judge. One frame error at ending input). Edit: Oh on the topic of the brackets. You're comparing to an non-truncated version by FistaGames. It's a 69 frame improvement over them when their input is truncated (70 if your input wasn't off a frame).

Light Spike of 1360 frames. Need to keep your eye on the ending input there.

BizHawk 2.9 hasn't been released yet. Author doesn't make this a 2 player TAS which saves time over a single player run. This TAS was rushed and made within one day. I had a version that stopped at the flower tossing one. But thanks to the advantage of 2 players it didn't take 6 minutes to get there. Fun Graphical Glitch Fact: The scores during the minigames aren't meant to have a pink shading it's actually meant to be a darker shade of red/green/blue.

When Heisanevilgenius hung about in the Discord there was talk with him present about a correction of the TAS. Possibly they forgot cause of how long it was, but they did approve of the adjustment (which can be found on the reencode)... Cause it needed an adjustment badly.

Game has controllable RNG at the Bonus Stage which the Author doesn't abuse: User movie #638138397844524593 (03:51.23) Also has a slower escape sequence than what RTA (and the userfiles) does from the Police Station (you can kill both in one swing).

Due to the branch being 100% it means that it's a bit harder to compare to per-existing IL runs of this version on certain levels to this TAS. In saying that. Green Hill Zone Act 1 is just a sprint to the end and can be compared to pre-existing videos. Your run completes Green Hill Act 1 in 17 seconds (IGT). There's an RTA run which achieves this in 12 seconds. Link to video You do appear to be using the tools provided in BizHawk but you're not using them to the full extent as there's times where you are slowing down due to you bonking on the scenery which is noticeable by eye. I suggest going at it again, taking your time, find the speed values that Sonic has and exploit his movement and use the userfiles. Go again when you've optimized all you can. Edit: I was reminded that a submission was made and is comparable to your movie in the stages that matter: #7998: Tuffcracker's GBA Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis in 16:46.89

> Framerate; 15fps > You must set the framerate to 30fps I feel like an error was made by the author for this 24fps game. Please follow the information provided in Ruffle's wiki to get the accurate framerate.

Something I noticed whilst observing... besides a single frame improvement on your TAS (asking co-auth), There's a difference between yours and ShesChardcore that you don't bring up. Wet Bandits immediately go after Chardcore and in doing so, she comes out with the best ending: Wet Bandits loot two houses before coming to the one you're in and that results in the worst clear ending.

The current "any%" to Super Mario Bros is this TAS: [1715] NES Super Mario Bros. "warps" by HappyLee in 04:57.31 Please take your time and use the tools available to you in FCEUX and use the userfiles. Go again when you've optimized all you can.

Hello signupredir26 and welcome back to TASVideos. In this updated movie you have deiced again to exploit warp glitch. Meaning your TAS is still comparable to this publication which is 15 minutes faster. I also must reinform you that having anything placed in the character field is a waste of time compared to leaving it default/blank. For future runs take your time and use the tools available to you in FCEUX and use the userfiles. Go again when you've optimized more than the currently published TAS.

Two nitpicks. Did you only select Dutch because the RTA speedrunners use Dutch to save time and not validate the time loss that can come out from selecting a language to running it back as a TAS? But also. You wasted a frame selecting Dutch cause the selection wraps around. You can press up to select Dutch sooner than down. The other nitpick is this and the RTA speedruns you're referencing select the shortest mission instead of the last mission where you are in the Ministry of Magic for a face off Voldemort's goons (which is also selectable as a note). So to me, this is just ending at some random ass mission instead of the last one.

Cause it splits after it reaches a filesize limit of like 2 or 4GB (I forget which until I do it). You have to merge it in post.

...This isn't an improvement. BizHawk is known to have a single frame load advantage over FCEUX. Adjusting Phil's input to BizHawk will result in the same time. In the adjustment I made to Phil's TAS it required three input modifications. I had to modify out a frame of swagger to fix the barrel direction on 25m. I had to modify in two frames of swagger to control the fire direction at 100m. Just as an extra note. Porting GoddessMaria's input into FCEUX would result into losing that "saved frame".

I made this TAS because there was no public TAS of this version of Sonic 2 Delta.
Just because there isn't a public version of the current version doesn't mean you're not comparable to a beta version. Once again I stumbled on a run by Shiro Paradox which completes many levels faster than what you've showcased. Which once again I won't be linking due to piracy. Their entire Winter HIll Zone is faster than what you showcased for instance.

As a note: This newer userfile created by the author not only syncs but is also an improvement. As it hasn't been brought up yet.

These arbitrary resolutions were done by developers mainly to aim for the width of a 640x480 television rather than the height to make it better in being represented. Obviously there's the cases where it squishes to a sub 320 image, but that's dependent on the game, and the PS2 actually kept this "quirk" but at higher resolutions. (Unironically the modern systems actually also do this, but it's not noticeable unless you go in to pixel count) Using an external program to go up double res (nearest neighbor), and then down to a 640x480 (with Lanczos/Bilinear) is your best/better bet.
