heh, you should have put the "ahh fuck you luigi" <from> in there at ~1:15 where luigi goes on and on about absolutely nothing. granted, you DO have to turn your speakers up very high, AND be listening for it... but i am sure you could find a way around that ;) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ghg9emVy_ZM&feature=related goes right to the scene of the crime http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yL4JSXojv-4 gives the much needed background information before the drop of mr. f.

i see london, i see france, i see dromiceius' pixelated ass! X'D anyways, on topic, how about trying to ship out some crazy massive, insane combos? or is this game just the typical "hit button a to punch, hit button b to kick. hit button a twice and button b to perform one of two combos possible" fighter?

dude, the ONLY way to make those pie filled sammiches, skamastag, is using one of those sandwich cookers that gets used when camping. you put a slice of bread, the filling, and another piece of bread between those two metal pieces (as depicted in the picture) and start toasting over an open fire, and then adding the wonderful powdered sugar topping... (in agreement with you:) goddamn delicious! should be noted i am not doubting your sammich cooker's abilities... wish i had one T_T

Evidently i never posted my "findings" ^_^; Well, iirc, i did use a dipswitch to get to 256. once I got there i was unable to manually beat the level. when using the dipswitch, all of the pellets automatically disappear, thus making the game think pacman ate them all. i believe the dipswitch would allow level 256 to be beaten, however, if not using the switch [normal gameplay] the level is impossible. as said, this is all from a failing memory, so some things may not be 100% true... but i dont want to sit here and wait for 255 levels to be dipswitched again ;P anyone else is encouraged to try, though ;)

I think the main reason Batman is so great is that he doesn't have any ridiculous superpowers that would aid him.
yeah, that is why i love him so. superman is just a superbitch, with his invincibility and retarded crime fighting style... where batman brawls like a man/goes closer to being a criminal himself.

the faries in Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask (i believe) always scared me, with their leopard breasts and crazy, orgasmic, screams... or maybe they laughed at the size of young link's sword...?

looks good, a few things could be improved on (like ~28000 i think) you make a jump but hit the stairs/wall and that kills the forward movement... but as you said, this IS a version 1. I also think this should be the screenshot (31541) I find the whole "Ninja throwing snowballs at other ninjas" thing hilarious ^_^

looks a helluva lot better now ^_^ so, now you have a run with no mistakes in it... what to do now? notice how mario stops moving occasionally? (for a good example look at when he hangs onto the pipe at the end of the level) not moving is BAD! rerecord so mario never stops moving forward, he could probably even long jump into that pipe if he wanted. any time that is spent trying to set something up is wasted, you should always think ahead and begin to set up a trick so you dont have to take the time to stop and get into the perfect position. watch from 6:10 on wards. notice how he never stops moving no matter what trick he does. i am not saying copy exactly what the runner does, but learn from it's non-erroring, non-stopping style.

i think the GG run is still a bit rough, but i dont have time to explain [last day of classes, w00t!] so i will edit this post sometime today. EDIT[finally]: ok, here is what i see that could be improved on (speculative, due to my inability to play any emulators on a mac :( ) also, i refer to the youtube version, for reasons already stated. :10 would it increase speed/reduce frames if you spun down that mini-hill? ~1:27 is there any way you could start bouncing on the water, to cut down on water-induced slowdown? i know you are already IN the water, so it may not work, but just a thought. i DO like the mini speed boosts you get when rolling off the edge and hitting the crab. 2:27 same as point #1 looked good otherwise. sorry for the inconvenience for only remarking with youtube timing units >_>

Buy using the FAQ you would have found the emulator that you require to play the movie file.

ok, so you need to use re-records to erase all of those fuck ups. here is something that may help you understand how to use them: You load the rom and start recording. you make a savestate, like every other emulator has, at (for example) 2 minutes 53 seconds. oh no! you fucked up at 2 minutes 54 seconds! load the savestate for 2:53 and try the part at 2:54 again. this is how the tas movies get to perfection, lots and lots of savestates, lots and lots of fuck ups, and lots and lots of loading the savestates to try again. hopefully that wasnt condescending, but it was the simplest wording i could come up with. EDIT: for the record, you cannot submit a run here that starts recording from savestates! i know you used a savestate because the movie started from mario already having 8 stars, instead of the usual zero. just a word to the wise, since i cant recall if you said you were making these runs for the hell of it or not
