You're right, but it should be done with human skills in 2 - 3 hours. With TAS skills should be 1 - 2 hours (with the glitches that are known by now, not to mention any further new ones)
I don't know how I got to TASvideos or TAS in common. But I think it was something like a link from SDA. Nevertheless I know about what TAS means, I was surprised be the first videos I watched (very sure it was Super Metroid)
I prefer 'perfect surgeon'. :) But at the end, the time wouldn't be to different, right? It'll be about 10 seconds slower in the perfect way than the sadistic one.
Plus the NES version is, I believe, the last "official" cart they made for the system... makes me all teary-eyed.
I remember the day I bought this game. It's surely 15 years ago :D but this was my first (and only) NES game I ever bought myself. Also it's my first game ever.
..I'm happy to see an B-mode run :) it was scarry when Wario grows bigger than the screen :/
Never tried downloading the roms/isos of GC games, so I can't tell. Maybe you should search for games you own and check them if you want to see if they work on your pc.
does anyone know how the drops are manipulated?(i mean when carving the ground or destroying a stone etc..)
erm.. i don't know right now what you mean by destroying a stone.. if you hammer on a stone it breaks into pieces and disappears. but carving the ground: I'd prefer the easy method (for me is it the easy method ..because I don't know an other xD) save before carving and reload as long there is no gold/berry.
what is really needed for a 100% run?(is there actually a %counter in the end? or something else to see? )
AFAIK you need:
-all 10 Power berrys
-a wife
-2 children
-(of course) a blockhouse (3rd form)
-a certain amount of shipped items (I don't know how much, but gameFAQ's surely has an answer to this)
-as many as possible cows and chickens
..that's what I know, but i'm sure there has to be more for the best ending. maybe you watch the video which BadPotato mentioned a few days ago.
So, how does it work? I can't check it myself, because of my really old PC.
Is the new PCSX2 emulator suitable for TAS'ing?
(save-state, re-recording, etc..)
