Very nice. The strategy at the end of 3-3 was very creative. I know 3-5 sucks. I remember haven't a lot of trouble finding the treasure room in that when I was playing through this game. ;-)

From the top of page 208: After testing (doing EXACTLY what you did) and failing to get it, I'm still calling BS. And I still do. Both RZ and AKA tried to help krohn with making an m64 over IM, and both times, he's delayed it by making up excuses to get out of it. I mean, sure, he might've really had to leave at those times, but it seems highly suspicious that every time he's asked to prove it with an m64, he has to leave, especially since even now, no one else has pulled off these "glitches."

I do not have anymore time to sit and argue and create a mupen movie. Yeah, I'm sure that's the reason you aren't making one.

So everyone thinks it is fake? I can't speak for everyone, but at the moment, I think it's fake. But I'd love to be proven otherwise. can the under water GS code be enabled/disabled on the fly? I'm pretty sure it can, which furthers the likelihood that it's fake. But still, I'll wait until I see the m64 (or lack of one) before making any final judgement.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SltTSySbUi0 0:57. Now let's try to figure out how it's done. KrohnIndustry has no idea - it happened randomly. He has no proof he didn't use GS, but it's still worth testing. That.

Hmm, I am not quite sure when, I am still trying to figure this out, and I have to find a computer running Windows XP and do the m64 because mupen crashes whenever I try to make the movie file..and I was told it is because I am using Vista Gee, what're the odds. I have Vista and it works fine for me. Everyone else has Vista, and it works fine for them. But yeah, I totally believe this. I honestly do not know when I will have one up by.. When Mupen has a GameShark function built into it, maybe?

Okay then, give us an m64 of it. Since you can do the "trick," you shouldn't have any problems recreating it in Mupen. When can we expect an m64?

After testing (doing EXACTLY what you did) and failing to get it, I'm still calling BS. How do we know this isn't just recorded footage that you're pretending to be playing? Or that there isn't another N64 behind the TV being played by someone else? I'll believe it when I see the m64. And you still haven't proven the underwater thing.

I'd prefer proving on the N64, but how would you want me to prove that? It would still be possible for you to be cheating in some way if you did that. Doing it on Mupen would definitely prove that you aren't.

It's bullshit. Look at the other hills he BLJs on (SSL, WF, CCM). You can't normally BLJ on those types of hills, so this is obviously GameShark'd. He's also clearly using a turbo feature. EDIT: Also, you'll notice that he runs for a few frames after landing on the hill from the BLJ on the castle roof. Again, this isn't normally possible.

Just watched. I'm still overwhelmed by how quickly you've gotten really good at this. >_> Great progress. (Happy to see you skipped the penguin, too)

I have next to no knowledge of this game, but an improvement is an improvement, and I'm confident that you TASed this to the best of your abilities. You also made it as entertaining as a run this short would allow (with making Link walk backwards and stuff), so I gave it a 10 for technical and an 8 for entertainment.

Is the third cycle absolutely necessary? I think the reason behind it was for the Ranch timing, but perhaps things could be rearranged enough at this point so that you could get to the Ranch at the required time. I don't know how realistic that suggestion is at all or if there is any chance it would save time. I think the third cycle is only done because after getting the Goron Mask, you're too far away from Clock Town to warrant going back there normally, as it's much slower than just going back to the first day and appearing there.

No rush. If you want to post the other options we have here, go ahead. If you'd rather discuss it over AIM later, that's fine as well.

The best commentary would be one from Bloobiebla himself, detailing the stuff that only the TASer would know.

Too bad you abandoned the MQ run, though. He abandoned it because, thanks to the DoT skip, it would be pretty much identical to a regular OoT run.

I know you said you don't have an AVI of the rupee route with 10 extra rupees gathered to get the Deku Stick but would you be able to post the M64 of the run that gets it? or did you already post it somewhere? Well if you would that be great I really want to see it. Do you want to see it so you can attempt a run yourself?
