I skimmed through some of the discussion before posting here and would like to say that it would be a damn shame if the racist americans reject this japanese masterpiece. You are the worst user on the site.

Why did no one put up this big of a fuss with Rikku's camera angles? He abused the hell out of going in and out of Mario cam. His stylistic choices never bothered me other than the rattling camera, but I don't think even THAT is a reason to reject it (and apparently, neither do most people, since his runs were published). So, yeah, it's time to just accept and publish this, IMO.

EDIT: Wait, what? The run has more than twice as many yes votes than nos...that doesn't match up with the verbal beatdowns in this thread. It seems those who hate the camera work are actually the minority, not the other way around...<_< XD When the hell has that ever mattered? It's entirely up to the judge who judges the movie. That's the way it always has been, that's the way it always will be, no matter if they try to make it look like everyone else's opinion is worth a damn.

sonicpacker, this is not worth getting angry over, although I agree wholeheartedly with everything you just said.

Well, hopefully not everybody is so immature as to go sulk in a corner after a first case of public critique, right? http://i54.tinypic.com/4di7n.gif

It would be dumb if this got rejected for these reasons. If I were Mickey/snark/ToT, and this got rejected for this reason, I sure as hell wouldn't submit anything else here and would just keep my stuff on YouTube.

Let's see... Bloobiebla, for making the best TASes in the world and being one of the best friends ever. AKA/Mitjitsu, for letting me coauthor my first proper TAS with him and teaching me lots of things that made me awesome at TASing. Robert Z, for starting TASing with me back in summer 2006, since we basically learned it together (which was a lot of fun and I can't imagine learning it alone to be better). Tompa, for constantly looking over my progress in the GB Zelda games and always wanting to help me out and help me improve my WIPs and motivate me. I also like Nach a lot because he's really nice to me and said my LADX run was his favourite and that made me feel awesome.

Um, it's a good improvement to a run that we already thought was totally optimal. You'd need to be pretty bitter to vote anything other than yes. Hope it gets published, it deserves it. Good job, guys.

The ending should absolutely not be watched when it can easily be skipped. Seriously, just press B after beating Cradle (without later going back to beat it a second time, because that's dumb). It's best for everyone. >_> Also, the individual level times will still allow us to compare this run to the previous one anyway.

Sure that's option 3, but where would the movie end? Uh, the last input required to finish Egyptian? I don't understand why this is an issue. >_> Who cares if the ending doesn't play? This is the full game, so IMO it should obviously be the way it's done. I'm also surprised the idea of codes was entertained at all.

Can't you just beat Cradle on 00A, then press B after beating it to get back to the main menu, instead of pressing A to view the ending? Aztec should be selectable then, and if you beat that on 00A, so should Egyptian.

It's practically the same as how 100% is defined for the old TAS (I would rather see all the tokens too, by the way, but whatever). It has something like, 10 less jiggies. It's unnecessary, might as well just get everything.

Any% for this game is lame. Do 100%. How much do you think the current run is improvable by, without any major new physics breaks?

As a moderator, I advice everyone to leave Swordless Link's obvious provocations alone and continue the possible discussion in a civil manner. Okay guys, he obviously knows what he's talking about. Let's not mess with him, he might delete our posts. :/

XD Good job, guys. It's like you actually think 0 star is more entertaining than 16 star. Oh well.

Screw the haters. 16 star is and always will be the best category for this game. No one cares that it's arbitrary, it's still awesome. Voted yes, and really hope it gets published.
