The gameplay wasn't the worst part of Other M, it's enjoyable to play imo and would make for an entertaining TAS. Could you skip cutscenes, or was that only in newgame+?

I'd love to see colin mcrae rally 2.0 TAS'd on the GBA one day https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IkoA839J_yg&feature=player_detailpage#t=49 My favourite mode7 racer of all time, the cars used thousands of single pixel sprites which allowed for full movement, visible damage and dirt. It has a great sense of speed and impressive car physics with different terrain types. But you could also find gaps in the walls on most tracks and could take gigantic shortcuts, I think a TAS of this game would be very interesting

It's gonna be a long wait, but the TAS for Kid Icarus Uprising is gonna be amazing. Lunar Knights would be awesome too I bet

Nice work, I'm looking forward to seeing the finished run. Pretty underrated game too, far better than Yoshis Island 2 and even NSMB if you ask me.

Nice work, I enjoyed watching that. One thing I was wondering about, did you set the control sensitivity to max? Turning around looked a bit slow.

To be perfectly blunt, I have no interest in watching a 0 star run. I'd love to see a 100% run with no BLJ.

Oh cool, this was a pretty under appreciated game, the multiplayer was a ton of fun, even let you play with bots too. Looking forward to seeing your run :)

So, a TAS is like the first time a game is played on a brand new console?

Can someone explain all this in english for people like me who don't really know the complications of TASing? I'm hoping this is an elaborate April fools, but it sucks if this is the end of the site, I come here for the speed and precision, not necessarily the absolute authenticity in the emulation.

That is sick, nice work. Does the game still freeze up in the next set of levels?

Put me down for a GCN run, if anyone plans on doing a 100% or a legit run, then maybe go with the Wii version.

The height of the stairs doesn't matter, because you can still have unbroken horizontal speed going up. What matters is that the stairs are closer in SMB Deluxe.
The height of the stairs dictates the length of the stairs though.

Could someone please mirror it? The download drops out at around 5-10% for me. :(

Well that tech has existed for a long time, and if that were the case they wouldn't need to patent it. I was under the impression you can hand the game over to the computer at any point, if that's true it will be interesting seeing if the computer can find it's way out of the death traps I'll be setting up.
