On the note of Tekken, I think Soul Calibur II might make for an interesting TAS, especially with Charade as a playable character (Charade fights with a different weapon and style per match)
I know SCII came out on Gamecube, Dolphin may be able to run it.

For Minecraft, try one of Vechs' Super Hostile series, where the goal is to Complete a wool monument.

Dragon Crystal please. Game produces a random map each time you go up a level. Can't remember how many levels there are, but I would imagine this is the kind of game for someone who wants to do some disassembly and have fun with the luck manipulation (not my cup o tea). Also it's for the gamegear, but this is the SMS/GG thread and I didn't see a GG wishlist)
Dragon Crystal is for the SMS as well. Asterix is a cool game, I'd love to see that one TAS'ed

Any chance of a re-up for the config files please? Files from RS that aren't from a Prem account only lasts 10 downloads.

Sonic Chaos has an SMS version. Crystal Warriors is a GG exclusive, although I don't know if it would be any good to TAS, probably not.

I took this from a D/P Emulation FAQ: In Options, go to "Emulator Setup", use these settings: Emulation Speed/LCD Refresh: Unlimited MHz-Disaster, 10% Reset/Startup Entrypoint: Start Cartridge directly Video Output: 24bit True Color GBA Mode: VGA (poppy bright) GBA Cartridge Backup Media: Auto NDS Cartridge Backup Media: Flash 512KBytes Solar Sensor Level: Bright Sunlight Sound Output Mode: Digital Mono (fast) Sound Desired Sample Rate: Low (10kHz) (fast) The game card errors are normally from using the wrong Save Type (or "NDS Cartridge Backup Media", if you will.)

I tried that no$GBA or whatever it's called. It won't even play the new Pokémon games.
The newest version plays Pokemon Diamond/Pearl well, there's still a few glitches here and there, but it's still "playable".

Back when the Morimoto SMB3 run first got popular, one of the links I was shown was to the front page. There was this site and Arc's site, IIRC.

From Wikipedia: Tasmanian Sword: allows you to change form. To activate this power, jump and, while in the air, hold button 2 on the second controller and press button 1 on the first.

After you have getting the legendary stuff... sword/shield/armor. Is there any point getting the other swords except the Magical Sabre?? And for Shields and Armors.. Since we probably wont take any damage. Is there any use to even buy the Mithril Armor/Shield except the armor at the lava so you can walk in it(atleast I think it was the armor)? :) EDIT: Nvm that with the mithril armor. Saw that you had to buy the armor to get the sword to appear =)
You don't really need the Shogun stuff, it makes the Dragon Zombie a quicker fight, although I guess it would be slower in the long run, since you have to go out of your way to get the cash. With the Tasmanian Sword you can transform into any of the other forms by attacking at the top of your jump, even the forms you don't have. So you could get the sword, morph to hawk-man, fly to the Samurai Dragon's castle and warp back to the town. To see it in action you should check out Jack "#endgame" Kelly's Speedrun.

Hello! If anyone is thinking of doing this on the new SMS Rerecording emulator, I think this is a good route. After watching OgreSlayeR's TAS and #endgame's single-segment speedrun, i've kinda mashed the two together: Mecha Dragon Get key by the pirate ship. Buy Mithril Armor/Sword. Go through desert, beat Mummy Dragon Buy Shogun Lamellar/Blade Go through jungle, beat Zombie Dragon Get key from red ghost below castle. Glitch to Ruined Castle, get Legendary Armor/Sword Go though lava region, get Thunder Sabre Transform to Mouse-man Go to underground cave, get Magical Sabre Go through cave, get Tasmanian Sword Transform to Hawk-man, go back to village Go to Vampire Dragon's world, beat the game.

To add to that, Mickey Mouse: Land of Illusion is a nice game with many different themed levels. Possibilities are there for a no star run or a 100% all star run.

A friend of mine, Ricky, is planning to translate Mother 3, especially if an english version isn't made, here's his post from another forum:
So, I figured I'd get a head-start on this incase Nintendo dropped the ball and decided NOT to release Mother 3 in English. http://youtube.com/watch?v=Uu9kXMCalxw That's what is done thus far, some people in IRC have seen it already. Etc, etc. Mostly, I'm doing internal work so all that will be left is actual script dumping, translation.
Probably nothing. Meh.

I was seriously hoping the NBA Finals would be Miami and Phoenix. But *sigh* Apart from that my sport of choice is Rugby, and my team of choice is the All Blacks, who play the British and Irish Lions in the third test tomorrow.

If you're willing to try it out, you can morph SMS and GG roms using Dr. SMS and re-record using Nitsuja's Modified VBA. The visuals are passable but the sound isn't quite right. It should be enough to people to play around with, though.

haha..... sorry. I stopped this for a bunch of reasons, one being although i did get a reasonable speed, the first 15 levels are basic and put people off the video (even though it can get pretty hectic around the 22 mark) you're more then welcome to try though :)
