Although I think this should become the main branch for Battletoads, or that the current main branch shouldn't coexist with this one, I don't want to see the current run get obsoleted. It's a very entertaining run, and it is by far the most technically proficient of the currently published runs for the game. I'd like to encourage feos & MESHUGGAH to make a warpless 2p run, which should obsolete the warped 2p run. Until then, I guess these just have to be published side by side. Yes vote.
Since when "Glitched" obsoletes general branch?
Isn't "glitched" often counted in the same category as "any%?" Not always, of course, but, it's definitely a thing sometimes. Also, definite Yes vote on this. It's fantastic.

After watching this, I think clearing all 51 events would be more entertaining than an Adventure run. Also, Falcon is a repetitive character.

I'd say that Adventure would make for a more interesting run, since you'd have to consider edge-canceling and the like for maximum distance covered compared to just constantly fighting. It would include most of the stuff involved in Classic with lots of extra elements as well.

As a long-time lurker and avid fighting game fan, I wanted to let you know that I love the runs you put on this site, SDR. It's always entertaining to see games I've spent a long time with get broken in half, and fighters are no different to me in that. I'm surprised you didn't include the low punch loop on male ninjas--I've noticed that if you use a low punch repeatedly at a slow pace at maximum range, male ninjas will attempt to sweep you, get punched, and stop, again and again until they die. It's pretty silly to see and really does make the CPU look like an idiot. Either way, you did a great job of making it varied and entertaining. The Mega Endurance at the end really shows off the weird mechanics behind another character jumping in. Keep up the good work. I look forward to your next TAS. :)

Pretty straightforward, but, just entertaining enough, regardless of the length. I'll give it a Yes vote.

Nothing particularly interesting, but, it was still decently entertaining. Yes vote.

Many differences. I laughed a couple times. I think a few choices were boring and/or looked sloppy, but, overall, it's worth a Yes.

So good. Strong yes vote. Excellent use of entertainment without messing with speed. Seriously, thank you for this run.

1) You do a lot of back-suplexes with Max to finish off enemies. Would a jumping throw be faster? (That's what Bestiajerules often uses.)
The German suplex does 62 HP; the jumping throw does 40 HP. I assume that the time it would take to do the extra 22 damage makes a jumping throw longer in some situations (not having to slow down for other enemies, preventing a knockdown, etc.).

Out of curiosity, is this done on Mania mode? The "uses hardest difficulty" tag isn't listed.

One of my favorite games. I need an encode pretty badly.

A shame the port only has ten characters, but, you kept it pretty fresh throughout. Having a working knowledge of Tekken 3 mechanics helped my enjoyment, too. Yes vote. Good job, good run.

A 3rd Strike run would be better suited to combo-centric characters--Despite XCOPY, most other characters are more interesting to watch than Twelve. No vote.

Another fighting TAS... *sigh* well, until I watch it I can't really complain so let's give it a try... On another note, why you people keep requesting for encodes? it's not like we won't have any if people don't ask for it so why bother at all?... And I'm pretty sure we have plenty of encoders who'd gladly do it right away (or when they have time). Speaking of which, I think I never said it but it's a good time to do so; thank you to all encoders for your good work, keep it up.
It's taken a while for some submissions in the past. I don't know if it's because there were fewer/busier encoders in past times, but, showing interest can (from what I can tell) get encoders to prioritize their efforts.

Requesting an encode. I'm very much interested in seeing how this one plays out.

The decision to use the sub-weapon to bypass spikes in 4-2 is fine in and of itself, but it bothers me that you used it to kill enemies as well. Also, health management seems miniscule, since most enemies are avoidable and/or don't deal much damage in the first place. If at all possible, I would've much rather seen this happen with a "no damage" tag, as well. It appears to be well-done, but I have too many reservations to say yes, and I don't even think it's a very good game for a pacifist TAS. Voting meh.

This game is very slow, but a good job was done with what you had to work with, and it was decently entertaining. I'm okay with it being added to the site; a yes vote from me.

Pleasant enough. Double-jump use definitely added to it. I'll give it a yes.

That was...really boring. Even though I've never played Chrono Trigger, I enjoyed the previous submissions for the game because it was clear that serious glitching was going on, as well as the final battle. The anything-goes Pokémon run is still interesting despite zero battling because there is clear and obvious glitching that occurs due to player input. That is not the case in this game. Even if this were its own category, I can't give this a Yes. Save corruption is neat, but, this just wasn't interesting. Meh for me.

Is it conducive to better gameplay at all, or was the change made just for the natural frame rate's sake? I assume the character moves at the same real-time speed either way, which is why so many frames were cut since the last submission of Spyman.

I don't understand how switching to 50 frames-per-second aids in TASing this game. I figure there's something that isn't as arbitrary as most games, but, I'd like to know what it is.

Wow, this is a pretty ridiculous hack / unlicensed game. I was fairly amused to see tall robot enemies from Shatterhand in Stage 4. The bosses in this game look especially messily-programmed compared to the rest of the game, and that's really saying something. This seemed well-run. I'm slightly in favor of publishing, but I'm not sold on it (I'd rather see a cleaner hack of Contra), so I'll go with a Meh weighted towards Yes.
Sums it up perfectly for me.

Neat glitches and a thoroughly interesting run throughout. Having played this in the past, it's refreshing to see new paths to various eggs. Yes vote, and if it can't be published normally, this should go into Concept Demos at absolute worst.

The thing about the "minimum button presses" category is that it represents a legitimate challenge for speedrunners to be creative about (in my head, it's a nice alternative to "run right for justice"), and it does appeal to at least a small subset of viewers (it certainly appeals to me; I love thinking about this kind of theory). I find it strange that the "sidestroller" SMB1 run was published while this is meeting such resistance.
