seeing as how this is coming out, I wouldn't rule out his inclusion entirely.

wow, guess it's only a matter of time before we've got hacks of this floating around, too.

There are tool-assisted runs of Doom, aren't there? I would think Hexen wouldn't be much of a stretch if there are.

What about Raid on Bungeling Bay? I remember renting that a few times and not having the slightest clue what was going on.

I tried running Top Gear Rally the other day, and didn't have much luck... the sound was terrible and it seemed laggy as hell. Real shame, too, that was a fun game.

There used to be some neat tricks in the BAHB videos, but now it's so short there's almost no time to show them off... it'd be nice to see just how horribly broken this game can be.

if you managed to lure an enemy up to a green switch gate, and hit it with a super missile so that the explosion also hit the switch, could you open a door like that?

If you're on dialup, your best option would be to bypass the videos entirely and use the actual emulators. The answers to your questions are here.

Think about this: if you program your bot to abandon any control set that results in a death, say, there are probably quite a few that would run into that first goomba, so everything that came after that would be ignored. Every time you throw in something like that, you can probably knock a zero (or maybe a few) off the number of possibilities.

How much of a speed increase does the hadouken give you? Is it anything close to the shoryuken from MMX2?

So I take it the JFG run has been put on hold, or are you going to revise that to 7? :p

what, you could totally shave half an hour off that ending sequence with a faster driver.

Friend of mine plays something like this as a mod for Warcraft III, except it's multiplayer as 2-man teams.

Stranger things have happened with really old carts. I was playing Goldeneye with a friend of mine one day... we both had ARs, and were running straight at each other, blasting away, when an explosion killed us both. Out of nowhere. Neither of us got a kill or a suicide.

whatever C^ is (high kick, I imagine) can you go into the controller config inside the game and remap it to whatever button Y is (probably C<-) ?

Youtube does not properly express the awesomeness of that video.

does the game itself have a controller config mode? edit: and by MK64, do you mean MK4 or Trilogy?
