yeah, console games have to be possible with the three lives they give you, give or take a few 1ups... Arcade games, on the other hand, are designed to keep you pumping in quarters every 30 seconds or so. ;) Seeing someone utterly destroy a game that should cost $10 to beat would be pretty damn cool.

I'd say the scenery isn't too great, especially since you only see 20 feet ahead of you. the fog must be REALLY thick in Turok's world hehe.
They said there wasn't going to be any fog in the second one, except some new advanced kind of fog on certain areas. It ended up being just as bad.

I'm not even going to watch that... I'll wait for it to come up on SDA. I'd rather download a 1GB high quality version than squint and wonder what's going on.

at some point, you'd figure they'd fix those same glitches... they just keep popping up, game after game

it started desynching again when you switched to 2 controllers, right in the very first room, but I got it working again. I had to watch a few parts of that more than once just to see what the hell was going on... nice job

Well since lik-sang went belly-up there's no real point anymore. I don't know where to get importgames elsewhere really.

yeah, it's not properly obscuring the characters... I'm pretty sure Claire's not standing on top of that van.

well, it would really only be feasible for certain games... I don't think we'd be able to do FFVI, for instance. Four hours would take a lifetime to crunch.

I really want to see a game brute-forced... I bet I could cobble together some hardware and build a machine just to Bisqbot games, if somebody wanted to write the code.

yeah, this game really is (length of movie scenes)+X, whereas X=gameplay. One could also assume that as X approaches 0, this run will simultaneously become more amazing and yet more boring as more and more of it consists of movies that can't be sped up any more.

Do headshots actually count in this? I don't remember them being any more effective until the second game. edit: what ROM did you make that with?

Seeing someone run through God of War without taking any damage would be crazy.

argh, I'm getting a desync in the second room... he runs in, jumps into the pool of water, then when he goes to jump out he gets hung up on the edge. Rom is Jet Force Gemini (U) [!].z64, raw data is checked, anything I might be missing?

god... I watch this, and I wonder how I ever managed to die when the hit detection is that bad.
