I thought that Dorago's palace had the worst music in videogame history, but moozooh proved me wrong. 1942 beats it.
I don't think it's possible for a game to have worse music than 1942. It was just a sound repeated over and over. BEEP BEEPBEEP BEEP BEEP BEEPBEEPBEEP BEEP BEEPBEEP BEEP BEEP

Don't get me wrong, I understood how it worked. I just didnt think LED clecks were any less a fashion faux pas than the cap with a bar on it.
The glasses he used actually came with LED lights on them... they sell them at hardware stores.

Holy crap what a terrible game. Just the kind I like to see destroyed in short order. Confirming that this works with the "Total Recall (U) [o1]" rom.

Yeah, I had that problem too... the input wraps around the side when it goes too far. Makes it really hard to play a game with a joypad when you can't use full input, but you just have to limit maximum value.

Pretty sure that's actually a hack... would definitely be the best-looking thing ever made for SNES.

How does SDA calculate exact ingame time? Or do they just go by the number of minutes without worrying about seconds?

I was in a little comic shop once, browsing through a box of used CDs... there were a couple of kids poring over books of Magic cards with all the intensity of a neurosurgeon. At first I was making fun of some of the stuff the guy had, but then I found a pair of gems (Jesus Built My Hotrod for $0.99?!?). I showed them to the guy behind the counter, and he said "CDs, hey... they're cooler than Magic cards." The two kids looked like he had just shot their parents.

I've found that several of the ROM music plugins for Winamp don't work properly with the newest versions... I just put Winamp v2.95 on a machine today and the SPC, PSF and USF plugins work fine with it.

Damn straight. There's a reason why the NES had its own subwoofer jack.

Does anybody know where a copy of this can be found? You can't see a damn thing on Youtube.

SDA does tack on a certain amount of time for each segment, don't they? I think it's only a second per, though... not much of a difference in a multi-hour run that's unlikely to be obseleted. Although runs of console games that include the save/load sequences in each segment ( God of War, RE4 ) are significantly longer because of them. That Half-Life 2 run a while back used a script to automate bunnyhopping, although that was done entirely ingame, so I'm not sure if that qualifies as a "tool."

Once upon a time I was preternaturally good at Tekken/SC. I would spend up to four hours a day, at least three days a week practicing. I can't do that any more, I just don't have the time, patience, or will to spend that much time on a game.

Those videos remind me of an ad that was on MTV2 a few years back... it was a couple of Japanese people, dressed up like 1950's greasers, breakdancing.

There are so many bugs in that game, it's hard to believe it ever works right!

Not sure exactly where this is (doesn't look like the US) but it's pretty crazy police work. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vdq_MOfDdFg Reminds me of that game Pursuit Force.

This is getting pretty incredible... maybe they'll eventually break this game as badly as some of the other Zeldas. *waits for 5min glitch run*

I also have a Garmin iQue M3, and 5.5GB worth of SD cards, which I could technically use as a media player as it runs WMP. Power consumption kinda sucks, though... it's really meant to be either a PDA or a hardwired GPS.
