Or let's have like 10 different categories as Super Metroid...... The download is soon done so I can at last watch this run, yay.

I talked with Comicalflop about this on IRC before. And there are 5 secret numbers, not four. 666, number of the beast. 69, sex position. 314, pi. 300, THIS IS SPARTA 42, the answer to life, universe and everything.

PI and the answer to the universe were the other two :). Am not done watching it yet, but I like what I see so far so this will probably be a yes vote!

I have been trying several times with two different emulators. One worked, with the speed of like 1 frame/minute. Might be a good one that works though, not sure.

Because he's going to improve it, as mentioned in the topic.

I'm surprised that you finished the run so fast! Going to check it out when I have time.

I'm confused with the route and such in a normal Metroid 2 run, as I don't know anything about the map in this game. But this is just insane to see and I have basically no idea what's happening, just great :D.

I haven't REALLY given up on the run, I'm just taking a long break ;). The reason why I have it on hold is because of the manipulation in the beginning of D2. There are millions of different combinations to try out, my best when I gave up was 30 frames slower than Dez, which I refuse to keep. But if you really would like to TAS it instead, have fun :). The manipulation is ass.

Nice done Stef. It's good to see you back at some LADX again. Hopefully there will be more any/100% running as well :). Voting yes to this.

Another nice SM64 run. I can't wait until it's faster than the SMB one :).

Very nice indeed. As Soulrivers said, I didn't expect this much to be improved either. Go Swedes :D. Yes voting FTW. Edit: And by the way... I have been in that car. I'm writing autographs at the exit, thanks.

The way you killed the first nightmare form surprised me actually. I had tried the other stealing method before, but never thought that it would be faster because you have to wait for so long. Turned out that it is 5 frames faster after all, nice. The route in the doghouse is basically the idea I had as well. But mine was a bit different, and probably slower as well. I didn't think people would bother that much of a run made that way, so I never cared to do one. Seems like it turned out to be quite interesting anyway.

Very nice run you got Stef. I enjoyed following your progress of it :). Too bad a lot of new tricks are being found all the time, so it's hard to get this optimized. Oh well, yes voting.

Seems pretty much impossible... I'm touching it with more than half of the body, but it doesn't seem like it can be collected. Do it the normal way then, yeah. Good luck =).

I tried for awhile to get it, but didn't make it. I really dislike playing with the keyboard and I did it in real time. But I'll keep trying at least :).

Kickass Sami! You are doing great and it looks awesome! Was a really nice way you got that honey comb, indeed. And the maze was a huge "lol". Good luck with the next awesomeness.

I'm not able to find the rerecord version 19.2 and the run is desynching with all other versions I've tried so far. Could you, or someone else, upload it please?

Many of those, not all however, did I find during my playthrough of the game to find the coins. But I didn't bother to mention them for Specter as they were all bad... I'm going to test those coins to see how much time we'll lose to take them. Or are some 0 frames lost?

Nitsujrehtona: Just tried to use it. But it isn't that trustworthy apparently. I'm testing it at the end of the second bonus. If I jump after landing before the last stars, the address shows 3's when I'm in the air and five 2's when I'm landing, ending bonus at 409. If I'm not jumping the address will just 3's the whole way with some 4's before the coin, ending bonus at 411. That would be if the higher the number is, the slower are you going. But that isn't making sense when watching it through the level... Nibelung: ElectroSpecter has a DKC3 guide that has "all" of the BC (At least all according to the book...) but I have found some that aren't listed there. ES went through all the coins in the game to see which ones that costs less frames to take and we have a list now with the coins that we need, hopefully that list won't be changed too much... Here's the list of the coins and how many frames (All aren't correct, but still) you lose to take them. I'm not sure that all coins are included, but most of them.

Hi Nibelung, was awhile I last saw you in here=). We are currently at Demolition Drain-Pipe, which is a bitch to optimize because the speed changes a lot and we haven't found a proper speed address for it yet. ElectroSpecter is doing most of the level as he had better luck optimizing it so far the second bonus is "done".

Even though this isn't accepted yet, I'm trying to encode this as my first encoding. I don't know how good it will be in the end but I just want a chance at least... :) Nice run btw, the music is making me insane after awhile though.
