It's really a pain to watch... And if you choose the the SMAS version you shall use L+R all the time, as that's a lot faster. And start using frame advance as well. It looks like you are playing in real time...

Why in earth shall even one of the coin ships be taken? And why shall all whistles be taken and not all mushroom houses? Huge SIGH.

For those not hanging around in IRC... I've decided to restart the entire run. I managed to save 28 frames during the Funky conversation in the beginning, 1 at the boat, 1 to the bonus and 12 in the bonus itself. And I believe there's more to save. So don't really except this run to be done in a long time :/.

I had written down the wrong frame number, aaargh. I redid the battle at least, saved 31 frames. WIP

I compared some times, the boss for example, with Nibelung. I was surprised to see that I made the first hit 94 frames faster, but the second was 109 frames slower... Overall I managed to save 18 frames during the boss. But I still wonder what happened to all the frames after the first hit. I guess I'll have to redo. I'm looking forward to your come back Magnet :).

World 2 done I'm not sure how much Electrospecter is going to work on this run nowmore. So I've taken over. Sadly my progress haven't been that great though...

I know Snorlax. I was talking to Derakon for example. Who says that it was ok to use items, but no flutes.

If he isn't using any whistles, he'll be force to use B in the levels I mentioned, except 7-C1 as he can use a P-wing there. But in the other cases, naaah.

Oops, I really missed the end of your post in the beginning. Must have scrolled too fast... Not using B to accelerate could work I presume. I don't know about anything where it won't be able to proceed.

Not using B at all. E: I watched through JXQ's run to check for other places where it will be very hard, or impossible to get through without using B. 2-Pyramid. 3-9. Blue blocks in the end. Need speed to fall through, no slopes. 7-C1. Need to fly. 7-9. Blue blocks in the way, multiple times. Before you continue with the run, I suggest that you take a look at those levels to see if you even can finish the game. Which seems very unlikely =P.

In the Pyramid you have to either use an enemy or to use the tail in order to destroy the wall. Duckjump through the wall doesn't work as far as I know. To use the P-Wing you need to press B to pick the item. http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/636256404/SMB3Walkathon.fcm 7 frames faster. Should have been 8 if the HB wasn't an ass.

I doubt that you read my post, oh well =P. You can't do a walkathon run... You will be stuck in the pyramid. And the first castle in world 7 is also impossible to do. And also; I improved the first level with 6 frames. GG.

Oh my Flupsi... Don't expect DKC2 102% to not be in the works once you are done with MM. "A few frame errors" how much could you be if you redo you think? If it's only like 10-20 frames. I say that you can just continue and redo the run later...

I'm currently working on two runs using V11. Donkey Kong Country will most likely be the one done first, but that will still take awhile... I'll see if I found any major issues during the making. But so far it looks really nice!

It's going to be interesting how you've planned to get through the pyramid in world 2. Could maybe be possible to go through the wall using the speed from the slope, but I doubt it. Also, you shall be aware of THIS This was found by, I think, Genisto. It makes the autoscrolling levels faster in the end. But it also makes them a bit boring maybe.

Very nice work Gocha! There's only one thing that still doesn't work, didn't in either 1.43 or 1.51. Some sound effects in the three Super Star Wars games. It is some kind of an echo effect to it, the sound is longer then it should be. If you could fix that, it would be MUCH appreciated!

The SDA rules for 100% is the greatest. Obtaining all keys in the dungeons and visiting the door repair man is two USELESS things to include in a 100% run. It honeslty isn't even discussable.

Well yeah. But the diagonal animation is quite odd. The first frame you could go upleft, then only left, stand still, up, stand still, upleft, upleft, up, stand still, left, up etc. It's pretty confusing.

OoA OoS This one has to be improved because the last rooms are very badly made. Should be around 40 frames faster or so.

It's getting better at least, but yet not good enough. You are 290 frames, nearly 5 seconds, too slow into the "hole room". When pitwalking: If you press one frame up you shall start falling down into the hole above, if you don't press anything else after, and if you press first up and then down and are going down the hole below you, you are doing it right. I hope you understand that... I suck at explaining stuff. And also. You are sometimes doing unnecessary bumps into walls. That will cause you to lose time. You shall also avoid walking diaognally as much as you can, because that's slower.
