Last time I asked for permission to do this run, I was rejected because that V 2.0 might should be released... I have talked to both Euclid (Talking to him at this very moment.) and sePH a several times about 2.0. sePH said that he hasn't given up the project, he just isn't working on it anymore. But it's highly doubtful that it will ever be released and 100% not in the nearest future. Anyway! I have planned out quite a lof of things for this run a few of these things can be seen in my test run I did in March I think... http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1197072270/Parallel%20Worlds.smv The run was supposed to be a walkthrough for those who were stuck, so I didn't use that many tricks and such in the beginning (Like the dash glitch.) but as I did things as fast, more or less, as I could it ended up in a speedrun in the end. I have done a few route changes, for example in the guardhouse which looks like in the beginning of my Second Quest test (It ends after I took the big chest key in Parallel Tower, then it runs for nearly 200k frames.) http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/477561419/ParallelWorldsSeconQuest.smv Here's a somewhat incomplete route. http://www.savefile.com/files/1182592 But the route itself shall be pretty good. If you have any questions on it, go ahead and ask. You will understand more after watching my speedruns. For bomb and arrows... You will need 17 arrows against Ganon at least and they are useful to use at a lot of places. And this is a pretty old planning of the bombs that isn't finished at all, but I think I have included all bombs that are needed in the game. http://www.savefile.com/files/1182608 I'm not 100% that you can kill Ganon using only the level 3 sword. You can at least damage him by doing spin attacks. But I could never be bothered to do a serious attempt. My testrun ends at Ganon for just that reason. I could try some more, or if you would like, in order to kill him that way. But I think I'll get more powerups then ;D. The main reason to not get it is that you will be forced to climb the tower a third time, if you don't do anything like this http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/815963890/Emerald.smv But that will most likely count as EG, or...? Anyway, that shall include some things. I have a lot of stuff in my head (The whole game basically) so feel free to ask anything! Also, I added you on AIM

You shall try to roll more then just through the enemies. Rolling increases the speed with quite a bit. But after some rolls you'll have to jump after it, or else Dixie/Diddy will stand still for a while. Not that bad anyway. Electro: I remember I went to that Wrinkly cave at least. But you might be able to trigger it somewhere else as well. Be sure to check. About the route: It doesn't look that bad in my eyes. But I'm no expert =P.

The best way to publish a WIP is through Microstorage. Well, Arne isn't working with it anymore... So I'm alone, and yeah, I'm kicking ass :D. It's going to be interesting to see what you have done.

I have looked through all the possible rings to collect in the run. The best would be to manipulate the Green Ring from Maple. But to manipulate it + the Magic Potion would be the most ass thing ever... About the Pegasus Ring, it can't be manipulated from either Maple of a Gasha Tree. It has to be obtained in the cave where the Pirate Ship is. As it is that late in the game, and takes some time to get and appraise (Or how you spell it) won't be worth it.

Looking pretty good. I do have one question... After the teamthrow before the Koin you wait 16 frames before you jump up to it. Why? :O. I really can't find an explanation for it, but you might have one =).

Another thing why it has taken so long, is that he refuses to learn how to use hex edit. So he has to wait for me to be around all the time =P. Evil man... and his slave... Nice job though. Even if could save a few frames when you "couldn't bother" to redo a thing once more =P.

I make several save states. It's not up to the runner to make save states for those who can't make there own. If you lack a save state and have to rewatch the whole run again, you have to suit yourself =P.

Nice job there Sami, as always! Yeah, lol, the biting with Croco is kinda awful to listen at all the time, but whatever. Dead warp was a neat thing too. I'm looking forward to more action!

Looks pretty good :). One day I'll try to TAS it myself to see if I can find anything. There's one trick which you might use in this run... But it's still a secret between me and Arne (As we use it in our DKC 101% run.). But I don't know if it works in DKC3, or if it will be possible to use it. So I won't mention it (Yet at least, lol.) Have you perhaps got MSN or AIM or something like that?

Yeah, it's a quite funny glitch. An kinda old too :). I haven't heard anyone on the internet mentioning it before however. Also wonder if Nitsuja or anyone else is working with this awesomeness.

As the physics in DKC3 aren't the same as DKC, I prefer not starting with this before DKC is done. I have yet not tried to TAS DKC3 or anything like that, so I'm not sure that I'm even going to challenge it =P. We'll see... we'll see...

Well this run antisucked a lot. It's an easy no no vote for this piece of hit. Edit: That scroll glitch exist in Super Metroid as well, the same way.

Nice Nice nice! Time to watch! One question first: Why is the sound changed in the beginning? And why not pick game C afterwards...?

Yeah, 1.87 is the latest. I think there are a bugs that I found that he didn't fixed, not sure. I made a huge list of them :). In case people get stuck, I can post full in game maps of all areas.

What do you prefer: A Cucumber or a Zuccini? If the world is going down, and you have 10 minutes to speak to anyone you want before you all die: Who would it be?

It's far from perfect:). There are some tricks that are in the any% run that aren't included in the 101% run. When we began this run I estimated it to be at least 3 minutes faster than the current run. We will see how close we are going to be to that in the end.

Don't mind if you are writing much! I don't bother at all :D. Six frames aren't really that much as me and Arne improved it by a bit more... But I'm interesting to see what you are able to do. You might just have something that isn't included in the new run, I don't know.

Only so you know... Me and Arne_The_Great are currently working with the 101% improvement run. And we have found a lot of new stuff in it, so we pretty much kick ass at the moment. Hmm, including all the letters in the run. You can often take a few of the letters with the "current" route in the levels. But some requires a few detours. I don't think it will interesting enough to have it's own run. There aren't many things that are different. And me and Arne's run is a secret for everybody. So I would likely not spoil our new tricks and tell you where you can save time everywhere, not until the run is finished. Which I don't know when that's going to be... We are also going to improve the any% run. Which I work on (Hardly) at the same time as the 101% run. After those runs, feel free to try to improve them :).

You were, more or less, aware of that it was faster to make an !Yoshi appear, as seen in Jimsfriend's movie. It's like doing a TAS then you skip doing a trick that saved ½ second only because you couldn't be arsed to do it. Oh well.

He didn't tell me anything about it. I was surprised that he mentioned it=P. Maybe I've told him though? Hmm, don't know. I'm just pretty sure that it really is faster to do like that. A very nice run however! Glitching powers for the win! Aslo, DK, I have mentioned that before. But it was ignored...

It was nice to see a warped run as well. But this was just not optimized enough. Voting no.
