Here's a test of the first lvl. http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/4028/Super%20Star%20Wars%20%28U%29%20%28%21%29.smv It will desync at the boss, because it doesn't show up as early as it did while I recorded... Can anyone "see" if I'm doing something wrong. Or if I'm using the wrong settings etc.

Indeed I have. Could it maybe be because I'm holding L+R+B to slide too much? Because I'm not pressing on the very frame when you can... Can't be arsed to do that. I tried a "no slide run", and that worked. And I didn't use any specific settings that time.

Yes... I'm recording with those settings. I'm not totally stupid^^. But I've most of the combinations, nothing works. I just get different kinds of desync all the time, so I guess it affects it somehow... Using Wip timing and Fake Mute made the enemies act different. When I treid the Sync Samples, he never picked up the gun... And etc. Seem hopeless for me.

No, it doesn't work... I said that I've tried all the settings. And I can't understand why changing the sound would have anything to do with the enemy set ups, which is the problem. Suddenly an enemy appears in the ground which wasn't there while recording. WTF?

Ok... These bitch games shall be done! And I shall play Super Star Wars like insane to get a nice run of it. I did the first lvl very good, but it keep desyncing whatever I do. I need some help with the desync problems and I'm willing to give it a more serious attempt! So if anyone know how to get it to work, please tell me, I'll practice meanwhile.

You use turbo with the sword, so it took you a few frames extra to charge you sword, isn't it?=) I meant after the room with the bombable wall, instead of inside the room with the key.

Looks good, nice job. Have two things to mention however When you bomb the wall to get the second key, was it possible to manipulate the enemies while going the train instead of after the room? I presume you tried this, manipulating enemies sucks in this game. Just before the boss room. If you jump into the big key door, you can open it earlier, saves some time and you don't really need to remake anything=P. Nice job. Am glad to finally see a new Wip from ya! Keep it up. The boss is quite simple really. You only need to time the bomb drops and jump around to make it entertaining :). I think you shall take the heart container actually... You might damage boost a lot, and it'll only cause you to lose ½-1 second. But do you think...?

I now realize how big pain it must have been to manipulate perfect setups... My first thoughts: How much faster is it to use S&Q after you've taken the first key? Can't be by many frames... Wouldn't it be faster to S&Q after the third key as well? The one at the many bombable blocks... Haha, loved how you used the pitglitch before pushing the "roller thingy" ^^. Very nice boss fight, perfect! About taking the heart... Hmm. You can manipulate some places with only pressing u/d/l/r buttons. Didn't do any testing or so, but I got a different enemy set up anyway... Or else it might be that I went longer in one screen until I switched to the other one. But I don't think it would be neccesary to get the heart container. That would be if you could save some time with damage boosting. But I don't know, hmm...

If my other route is faster, you could do like this to get the bombs without losing time: http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/3908/Boss.vbm

Hmm, that's interesting actually... I was quite sure that it was faster the other way. Oh well.

I am at least able to manipulate bombs from the jars just before the boss without using the sword or killing enemies. Would that work then?=P I have not been able to get any items from the jar that you have to lift though, but from one of those besides.

Yes, sadly it does. That's why I mentioned that you could manipulate the miniboss to drop some enemies, if it didn't cause you to lose time, to get some bombs from. Is that impossible you think? I belive you could do it...

Here's the route I mentioned in my Dungen Route "guide" http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/3906/D2Route.vbm Of course you shall use the pit glitch. Weren't you able to do like that...?

Yeah! I "knew" it was possible to do the key trick there! I now realized that I didn't try it fully. VERY NICE CHEF, YOU ARE AWESOME!^^ I also think you can do it at the Eagle Tower entrance as well. That would save a little. On to dungeon 3. Haven't got much to say about this one more than what's mentioned in my improvements list. I'm going to play through the dungeon now just to see if more timesavers could be found. You could maybe kill the eye in the beginning to avoid going back there later... L+R glitches could do it, right?:) *Am trying*.

No problem. Was just wondering where you'd gone as you said you would post a new wip after a week:).

So you wanna do one then? :D EDIT: Is it ok to use this kind of warping in a "non warp" run? http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/3829/WaterGlitch.smv

I couldn't find anything to point out. Just a thought... If you didn't S&Q after the last leaf, would you be able to get the PoP then? I don't know the numbers in my head, so I haven't calculated on it. Very nice wip. Loved how you took the first leaf, that was quick :).

So. I've now then everything that can be done in the game. So I'll focus with my FAQ's now, ooooh yes:). Ok, who's willing to do the optimized TAS then? Lol.

L+R, slash sword, release R or L. You don't need to wait for the sword to start charging. Work the same way with U+D. If you walk longer paths in the underground, it might save a frame or two. It's funny to watch too ;D. http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/3800/GlitchingAround.vbm I give up with taking items with Link from distance, it seems impossible everywhere except at the sword, annoying... Yeah, I think you included all combinations there. Glitchy game:)

I was fooling around inside the Secret Seashell house, trying to get the lvl 2 sword early, but I found something else... A slighty faster movement speed. http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/3798/FasterMovement.vbm It is faster, right...? I haven't been arsed to check:). EDIT: This can be done in any underground where you walk from side to side.

I have so far not been able to kill enemies that way... It annoys me because it has to be possible. When you take the sword from the beach in the beginning, what combination are you pressing? If you could get the sword that way, you have to be able to get other things that are below you, not? I have been looking through my route very clearly, hehe, and I can honestly not find a way to save time with that arrow =P. You might if you take a look however. If you save an arrow there, it means that you'll have to do two extra switches with items if you wanna use the arrow. If you use it against the moldorm that holds the 4th key, you have to set a bomb anyway or else you must take the arrows outside the South Shrine, and takes too long. I don't belive you will save ½ sec to use three bomb arrows against the last Skeleton Master fight either. So... I doubt it's worth it.

I was fooling around with some L+R etc. glitches... And I found that could actually set as many bombs as you want at once. http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/3779/Bombglitching.vbm This could save time probably... By carrying more things at once. I tried if you could kill the dodongos with "one" bomb this way. But he only ate one of them. You could do that on the lvl 6 boss though. But I don't think it will save time as the bombs isn't starting to explode untill you have dropped it. Which also annoys me is this: http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/3780/Lvl3Key.vbm Why can't Link be at two place at the same time?:(

You can get into the castle without leaving the bananas, indeed. But you can't collect all the leaves beacuse you don't have any bombs. And you still have to leave the honeycomb to the bear in Animal Village. And you can't get the honeycomb before you have beaten Dungeon 3 so Tarin appears... And no, you shouldn't use the pegasus warp. That will cause it as the same category as the select glitch warp run. So I don't think it will be much faster, if it works at all, to keep bow-wow.
