Finally made it to Ganon... Which I can't be arsed to finish at the moment. I know realize that the bottle was quite useless =P. http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/3628/Parallel%20Worlds.smv EDIT: I have now shown what you can do with this game. The hack itself is good, even if it can be better. But I still think that this could be a very entertaining TAS. Shall it be permitted or not...?

Was it slower to press start to skip the dungeon entrance text? I think that's the only thing I'm wondering about. Very nice improvements! Have you tried to damage boost using the feather? Jump over an enemy, and land on it so you'll get boost forward. I've mentioned it before, just in case you had forgotten. Good job!

Hurray hurray! I was able to pass the eyes with only 7 hearts :D. Damage boosting FTW, hookshot FTW! EDIT: Shiek's Hideout done http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/3625/Parallel%20Worlds.smv And here's the latest glitch... http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/3618/WTF.smv I've no idea what can have caused that :O. Has it happened in A link to the Past as well? EDIT3: First Parallel Tower is now beaten: http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/3625/Parallel%20Worlds.smv I could have taken the blue way at once... But I don't remember if you could kill Ganon without the Silver Arrows, and if you could: How many do I have to use...? Anyway... I did like this, so I'll have to play the stupid dungeon once more. Time to collect some keys! EDIT4: So... I'm up at the Parallel Tower again... http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/3625/Parallel%20Worlds.smv That will be enough for now. I will finish it later today I guess.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to beat Shiek's Hideout... I can't come up with a way to get through the stupid eyes... I've got one idea: To be damaged by bombs so you can sneak by the lasers. Or else, I need to go somewhere to fill up my bottle, make a new route totally. For example, I should have gone to the forest in the light world first to get the Cane of Brynja... That was quite stupid of me tbh, oh well.

Darunia's Dungeon: If you walk with your head up/down, the eyes want shoot you. And you can use the hookshot, because they can't do any damage on you then. Impa's Ways: A real pain... You can either try all the ways, make your own map of it, check a map that already excists or watch my WIP=P.

Ruto's Fortress is also done. http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/3606/Parallel%20Worlds.smv I don't think that bottle is going to neccesary, but we'll see... I took it anyway:).

Saria's Gardens done: http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/3600/Parallel%20Worlds.smv That was a realy pain! I need to take hearts all the time... But I did it, lol. I like the glitchy boss scen=). Was because I used a bomb, heh. EDIT: I'm now done with Rauru's too. http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/3600/Parallel%20Worlds.smv Five crystals, two more to go! First I'll head to the church, get the key in there and possible the bottle... Not sure if I need it or not. After that, I'll glitch into Ruto's Fortress :).

Hehe, I found out that a trick that I found in Parallel Worlds could be useful in A Link to the Past as well. What do you think about this trick?^^ http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/3576/Hammer%20Early.smv EDIT: So far I've only been able to do it when there are holes around... If you could do it regulary, this would be really neat to do at more places. EDIT2: Another place where it can save time, is after the Big Key in Misery Mire. There may be more places, haven't find more so far...

My save state was just before he bought bombs. And when he did the super slide, it didn't worked. He just stood there on the same place with his shield, oh well=P.

Only one wants nr 1 (Atma ;D) so I will finish the game with all the crystals first. I'm getting somewhere with my route now, hurray. Will post it later today. EDIT: Just found a neat glitch that allows you to skip the Fire Rod in the Parallel Tower: http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/3568/FireRodSKip.smv Quite neat:). EDIT again: Bah, you need the fire rod anyway. So it doesn't worked, too bad, it was nice:D. Here's my route that I will use unless someone else says different: Dark World: Impa's Ways Ether Medallion Darunia's Cave, Cane of Somaria, Heart container Finish Impa's Ways. S&Q Kakariko Village: Take the bow + a heart container Buy super bomb Nabooru's Hole. If S&Q is faster than walking, then use it. Saria's Gardens, Fire Rod If S&Q is faster than walking, then use it. Heart container in ?'s house Get key in beach cave. Get key at the Lake. Upgrade sword and magic. Rauru's dungeon Either S&Q, or take the cave to get to the church, not sure about which is fastest. Key in church + bottle (If needed, not sure yet...) Ruto's Fortress S&Q Shiek's Hideout, Magic Cape Parallel Tower, mirror Light world: S&Q to house, go to the forest and get the key S&Q to house again, take the key in the rebel hideout S&Q to house, go and take the key at pyramid falls + arrow upgrades. Either walk from there to the tower, or else S&Q.

I found out on the IRC what item the dungeon had. As it was the only one left ;D. I'm taking a different way inside Ruto's Fortress, so I'll have to go back to the real entrance to get the big key, so I won't bother about the blue mail=P. You'll see my shortcut when I'm posting the WIP that includes that dungeon, HE HE. In case you don't find out yourself =). In Shiek's Hideout... There's one place that is a real pain without the cape. But you can do it without, but I need 9 hearts... =P, or a bottle with a fairy. So it's a bit of a problem.

Bah, forgot a thing about the rupees... There's a room in Saria's Dungeon with like 200 rupees in it which you have to pass. Oh well, that would be fixed for a real run I presume. I'm not done with the route yet, it such a pain. I think that what I've done so far, is fine. But after that, hmm... Shiek's Hideout is a real pain without the magic cape or mirror shield. Saria's Garden's is also quite hard with low on health...

Ok, this will be nice! I've taken a small break with the Oracle runs myself, and working on a "TAS" on Zelda Parallel Worlds=P. But if you want me to researching routes and stuff, just tell me. I'm looking forward to see Dodongo become blown up!

It's not going to be a 100% run, not at all :O. 1. A low % with no crystals. 2. Any %, taking all the crystals. 3. 100%, all items and stuff. And I'm doing 1 and 2. Which one of them shall I do first?=P

So they is good for something? :OI haven't found out anyway. Ok. Do you want me to do all dungeons, or just finish the game? I will do both, just wondering which one you want to see first:).

Do you want me to finish the full run first? Or shall I do the "no crystal" run first? As I don't see why I need them, I think you can finish it without. Anyway, what dungeon next? I could go to the dungeon that needs the Ehter medallion to enter, don't know the name... I don't remember what it is in the dungeon :O. Is it the one you get the fire rod in? I want to go to that dungeon:D. Any comments on the run so far? EDIT: Also when is the best time to upgrade the arrows..? I could go there as late as just before Ganon, and getting the Master Sword meanwhile. Or else I can get it in the dark world instead. Any ideas?^^

Yes, I found out =P. I did that in the run that I posted in my earlier post as well. Now it's time for the trickier part. I have no idea what route that's best :O. I'll test some things... EDIT: I'll test to go to Impa's Ways first, as it's very close. I don't think I shall bother taking the Ice Rod. Take too long to get it. So I'll just go into the dungeon, go out at Hidden Ruins to get the Ether and then kill the boss. And after that... We'll see... I think I shall take a trip to Darunia's Dungeon before I finish Impa's, that would be the fastest I presume.. EDIT 2: Darunia's Dungeon is done I was thinking... Are the crystals really neccesary at all?:O In A Link to the Past you need them to get inside Ganon's Tower, but haven't noticed anywhere where I need them... You need some to get the power bomb, right...? Not sure about this... I can try one run that'll finish the dungeons, and one that only finish what I need to get the power bomb and just take the item in the dungeon. EDIT 3: Impa's Ways done as well... http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/3541/Parallel%20Worlds.smv

When I'm tempering my sword I've got some spare time while they fix it. I'm not sure what I "have" to do before I can get it back. As walking in and out don't work, maybe a lot of times though, not sure. But that could be a time to get some money at the chest game. Anyway, how many arrows are needed to kill Ganon? Don't remember and can't be arsed to play through Parallel Tower again to check it out, ehe... ;D. I think it was somewhere around 20... I'm going to get two arrow upgrades, as my plan is at the moment anyway. In case no one says different:). A video that makes it to the Parallel World will come later today. EDIT: About the rupees (Again...). I need 50 for the Zora Scale, 10 to temper my sword, 100 for the bomb to Nabooros's Hole (Or whatever it spells...) and... something more? I've taken some rupees in the chest game near the dwarves: -30+100+50-30+50+A bomb (Actually needed one, ehe... ;D)= Have 276. Going to manipulate 24 rupees in the run later. What do you say about it?=P In a real run you will glitch over the holes, so you will save some bombs. And you can manipulate two 100 rupees from the chest game, I just couldn't bother... EDIT: Light world done

I'm trying to do it fast as well, but not TAS like, not at all:). About the rupees... I'm thinking of getting an arrow upgrade, you'll need a lot of arrows on Ganon and I would also like to use them against some armos knights as it is MUCH MUCH faster then using the useless boomerang. I'll upload a wip up to the third dungeon soon. Must do the last path first:). EDIT: Also, if someone makes a TAS of it, then you shall skip the lamp in the beginning and take it after you are done with the gatehouse and church, I think that's the best time to get it anyway. And one thing more about the rupees. I wasn't thinking about how many I really needed through the game... I was thinking of buying a bottle as well, but I don't think I shall bother =P.

To be honest, haha, I didn't know about the invis bridge there, haha :D. Think it is faster with a bomb really. I'm not really sure about the route now... But I will S&Q and start at my house and go to take the pegasus boots.

I even suck at TASing this game, oh well. I'm going to fix up the errors in there later, so I'll just continue on at the moment. I presume you could do this a lot more faster than me anyway, oh well.
