Haha, you are hilarious :D. You don't need to be sorry, heh, I love to see some improvements! It makes it even better (Of course). However I must ask... Why did you got a CD? :O I can't really see the point, hehe. Hope you got a good explanation:). I vote yes anyway^^.

Well... I won't anyway, I suck to much of making TAS's. I just wanted to see a TAS of it, and I thought that I could maybe to it myself. But no, I SUCK. Sorry.

I have the same things to say: Very impressive run:). It was a pain to find the rom, but it was DEFENTLYworth it! Easy yes.

I think I just have improved your bomb/arrow route:). In dungeon 5, at the skeleton, you could do the L+R glitch to set more than one bomb at a time so you can save an arrow on phase 1 and 4. These two could be used to kill the Key 4 moldorm. Also, when you get the key 6 you are switching to the bracelet as you need it later, then you could lift one of the pots to get an extra arrow. That could save time somewhere, like in dungeon 6... Can't belive I did that stupid mistake. You take a like 5-7 sec way to get a arrow in dungeon 6... It would sure save more time to take that at the south shrine. A new route will come in a while :D. Also, I'm looking through the SDA topic now. There's sure something useful there that we have forgotten... http://speeddemosarchive.com/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=consoles_older;action=display;num=1148724340;start=60 Have you came any further? EDIT: Was also thinking... The trick with the red tunic, do you know how it "works" and if you could do it in this new run?

I didn't watch your old run because I couldn't find the rom... But now when you come with this improvement I just HAD to get it. So I found it, watched your movie... aaaand! I'm very impressed^^!! That was an awesome run. I liked when you took shortcuts by jumping on enemies and it was overfast while running! An EASY yes vote! Way to go.

Oh yeah Arne! Firist time in a while I saw you write in here :D. If you are going to work with a 100% run, please take DKC 1 instead ^^. Because I can be for some use then, lol. And as Comicalflop is working with an 102% improvement (Well... he works with any% too, lol.) Good luck!

Maybe if I start working with something that will help him later in his run... I can do some more calculations and guides for Ages too. Haven't done it as you are getting further and further into the game so you will have better use for guides for Seasons than he has for Ages at the moment. And I think I made a bomb "walkthrough" earlier for Ages, hmm, oh well... I'm hoping that he will continue soon! I'm also hoping that more people will responde here and say something about the runs. It looks like there aren't that much interest, even if people would like to see both the runs! EDIT: Hmm, you said that Vespa was in dungeon 2. When looking at my route for it, and E_alert's version, I think they can both be improved by taking the first key close to the miniboss, and skip the small key in the end with hte many colored blocks. It should be faster really. New edit: Have finished the pegasus route up to the end of level 7. I'm thinking of "remaking" it a bit, giving you a lot more to manipulate=P. As I'm thinking quite a lot of time could be saved my refilling seeds from enemies very often to use the seeds like everywhere. I have made the route now to use a seed when it's "neccesary", there you will save most time using them. But I haven't been thinking of every small places where you could have used a seed instead of just walking... So I belive I shall remake the route a bit *sigh...*. Have only been working with this for like 5 hours. Anyway, I will finish what I have started first. And give you that. And then I'll see if I shall improve it a bit. And you might find something when you get there.

Nopp. Just make sure you got one left after dungeon 3, and then it will be good. What shall I do next? Haha. Finish the Pegasus Seed route perhaps... Have you heard something from Vespa yet? Is he working with Ages or not?

Remember to jump when you enter a room with a door that is going to shut. You missed that a lot of times in your old run:). And don't forget to avoid the dungeon text at the beginning. Else than that... Hmm, don't think so... Maybe you can try to jump on enemies so you will boost forward? I remember someone mentioned about this, and it's a great idea. Also, are you sure it wouldn't save time of doing a spin attack on the boss? As you proved yourself wrong at the miniboss, maybe it's the same thing on the boss? :)

Looks quite good. I was thinking about a thing... Could you get the Bowwow to be so close to the door so you can walk around while you are talking with it? You could save time by waiting untill he has moved over ther. Else it was looking good.

I'm going to try to improve it though. Don't know if it can be much better... Maybe if more glitches where found. There might be more L+R glitches around there, hehe.. Don't think I can do so much more with the hookshot but.. :D:D. Ok, I'm looking forward for the first WIP:

How often are you going to post WIP's? If you are at all... :D. I would like to see because I may find some improvements on it. So if you don't want to show everyone you can send a PM to me. Are there something you want me to try out? Make a new bomb&arrow use for the 3rd/4th time perhaps? ^^. Just tell me if so. I do think it can be improved... Haven't looked through it so cleary but still.

I didn't write down the tricks that you found yourself. That's only my researching.. I belive. Hehe, I will start researching this game as well then ;D. Three GB Zeldas to work with, OOOOH YEAH!

Ok, I'm going to calculate how many bombs you need through the game, and where you need them (Not exactly where, but still...). EDIT: Here's what you HAVE to use and what you have already used so far: 2 in dungeon 1, wall and mini boss. 1 down in the subrosian world, bomb switch. 1 bomb to get the bracelet. 6 to get the key. 1 to get to the ladder. 5 for the miniboss. 4 for the boss. 1 to get a crystal. The kids in the water town will take ALL your bombs left, 1-10. 1 in dungeon 4 to the room with the first key. 1 bombflower to get the last season (Haha, I just had to... :D) 1 for a wall in dungeon 6. 1 in the subrosian world so the lava will fall. 1 for a wall in dungeon 8. 5 for the boss in Onox castle. This is a total of 30 bombs + those that the kids will take from you. And there are also a few places where you maybe could save time by use bombs.

I think I have put more hours into my helping researching than your TASing, haha. I'm just glad that I could help out a bit. And I don't want you to stop the project because that no one cares or similar. Hmm, I don't remember if I did a decent bomb route... Do you think you will have any problems with that part? Or else I can look through it more clearly and do another walkthrough:).

Haha, how lame:D. My frameeye didn't work this time then, hehe. EDIT: I'm up to dungeon 5 with the route at least. Remember that I'm not checking with frame perfection where the fastest places are to use seeds on. I'm using my "Frameeye" instead, which isn't always working that well, hehe. But I think my route is quite optimal. The first guide I did, where to get the seeds, is quite useless really... Because I'm not using half of the refillplaces that are mentioned in the text. Anyway, here's what I got so far: http://www.filecrunch.com/file/~rdjxlo

Am watching it now... HAHA, I liked the way you owned Rosa :D:D! Nice! You actually walked in here, hehe. Well done! Very nice so far. I only have one LITTLE comment ;D. When you dig with the shovel... Couldn't you save 1 frame if you slash with the rod? That's the only SMALL improvement I could come up with... I'm looking forward to dungeon 2. And you will get the pegasus route whenever you need it.

Are quite a lot of things that you could do faster in the PAL version. Take YI1 for another example, you can run under the enemy at the beginning in PAL, which isn't possible in NTSC.

No, as you only need to use one seed during the whole game... Just take one of them.

Yepp, one of the places where you have to use them on... The other place you need them on is to get your bracelet back on Crescent. Or els they are quite useless really... You might be able to save some time on the stalfos on the same spot as the ropes in dungeon 6 though. Hey Chef, are you going to work with a run now when you cancelled your Demo World?

You have to take the Mystery seeds. You need it to attract the Moldorm to get one of the crystals you need to enter Tarm Ruins. The Scent Seeds, however, are useless in the game. And I don't think you can save any time by taking them really... EDIT: The pegasus seed route took longer time than I thought, hehe. Am on dungeon 4 now... You can tell me when you want what I have done so far. As I presume that you won't finish it up to the seeds yet, I can actually wait a bit longer:).
