1. If you beat the 4:th dungeon directly you will have the ghost with you after. But by leaving the dungeon earlier the ghost won't appear. Maur found this neat trick. (I think anyway...) 2. Yes, that's one reasons. But I can still kill the 7:th boss just as fast when I have the lvl 2 sword. But the other reason is that you can jump down to get the Heart Piece in the water cave, and it is also close to dungeon 4. 3. Hehe, I know... I usually did that all other times I have taken the boomerang, but for some reasons I forgot it now.

Here it is on FileFront instead, Chef. http://files.filefront.com/LArar/;4806264;;/fileinfo.html Everything you might need is there, even if I know you already got it... But all on SDA haven't got the emulator and rom and stuff, so I uploaded those things as well. But as I said, this is meant as a Speedrun, not a TAS. So bad gamequality.

I have done a little testrun of a 100% run (Not DX) a while ago with a time of 1:52. It isn't meant to be fast, just to show the route for those on SDA so they could give me comments of improvements, I didn't do any Text Skips, except regular B skip. My movements are quite bad because of the controller I had, etc. But the video does have a couple of nice tricks, mostly for 100% but any% too. Like when you shall rescue Bow-wow and when getting the 2:nd Ocarina song. http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1340/TestRun.vbm I'm going to do a Speedrun of this and aiming for <1:40.

There are some improvements that can be made. You can for example skip the text when taking a key from a chest by pressing Select and Start to get the "Save&Quit" meny up. And other small time savers like taking a different route, like the one to the sword that one isn't the fastest. After the first "cliff jump" go right instead. And after that down. Some small things more, but whatever for the moment... Are you going to do a TAS of this then?

I can't see how it could save time, really. You will not meet so many enemies on the way to Bottle Grotto, or when going to leave him. But it will save time on a lot of enemies and: Minibosses: 2, 4 and 8. Bosses: 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7. But if it takes 2-3 minutes, I don't see it can be worth it... Not sure though. EDIT: I used to do that bug while waiting for the crane to give me my Yoshi doll/Powder. And "swiming" around is also quite fun:D. Have you killed any enemies on that way? I think that could save time on some places when the enemies are too far away. Can't find any place yet, but I will perhaps.

Have you only done it with Bow-wow and at the beach? Perhaps you must have Bow-Wow with you... I haven't time to do "any" testings on this, I have tried another bug instead which I found around a year ago. I guess a couple of people know that you can get invisble. Hold Up, Down and Right and swing your sword. Voilá, you can't see yourself anymore. This effect goes out when you walk into a house/cave. This can come in handy, because Link is acting quite strange... Take a look at this movie: http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1332/Invis%20bug.vbm As you can see I could reach the grass from there! I haven't been able to take an enemy on the same way yet, but I'm quite sure you can. By holding Up and Down at the same time will give make Link hold a shield, this can't be used what I know... By holding Up, Down and Left while carrying a rock will make Link get stock in the rock. You don't need Bow-Wow to do this, I have him because Chef Stef had it in his save file, and that you can easily see where I am.

Ehum.. How many enemies do you need to kill? I slayed about a hundred and it didn't work. Will it still work if you are damaged while having the PoP?

TSA's time is 0:36 http://cyberscore.net/chart-21829.php. And remember that Guano hasn't got the Hookshot so he can't use the shortcut in end.

What a nice glitch :D. Sadly I don't own the DX version, only the regular. But it's great for Quijo. EDIT: By the way... What happens if you take go and get the red tunic once more? And will you still get a red tunic if you already have a blue one?

He didn't show everything. When jumping off !Yoshi you can also jump through the blocks. I got stuck in Choco 5 (Not sure it is the right number, the course before 6:th castle.) in one of the "Block Squares". Not sure it will be for any use, but the possibility excist.

Indeed it is a way. Can be a little hard to found out at first, but when you do it is simple.

Yay, I hope so:D. Your run get's more interesting every minute, hehe. EDIT: Haha, it is possible to fly with Yoshi. But I have only been able to do a thud with him, hmm... The 2 Yoshi bug. My method is a little different than the site. I don't remember it perfectly but... I'm nearly 100% that I already had a Yoshi when entering Choco 5. I doubled the Yoshi block before using it, with only one item. And out came another Yoshi. It hatched at the same speed as usually. I never tried to jump on it though. But you don't need 2 P-blocks to do it.

Hmm, I never tried to jump on the invisble Yoshi. I didn't need two P-switches to make him appear, it works with only one. I'm going to start the game right now and play some, hehe. EDIT: So, now I'm there... I didn't make two Yoshis, just made the block vanish. I found out some other small things. It's possible to get through the "note wall" in Forest of Illusion 1 as well. I'm not 100% how to do it but... Hope anyone can give me an explanation. I also made the "Death sound" not appear. Really easy to do and I already think you know it; Just press Start just before you die. I also think it's possible to fly with yoshi, just like regular cape. I nearly did it on Donut Plains 1. Anyone done it before...?

How exciting! So what level are you on now? And fancy statistics like 31.41592653589793238462643383...% complete would be nifty, although pointless. And inaccurate. Only 71492 rerecords to go :P
YAY! PI! Love that number. I know more decimals than you, hehe. 72, lol.

Well, the other Yoshi (The false one) can you only see when it appear from the egg. It won't be standing there after the hatch. But as soon as the other Yoshi has died the other one will appear. To make this bug you have to double a Yoshi block. I did it on Chocolate Island 5. Hope you understand my bad explanation:P.

Well.. A really old thing if you ask me, but it's still a bug and bug owns:D. Try some harder once like: Making new blocks, see two Yoshis on the same screen, carry things on Yoshi etc.

I'm planning a 100% run (not TAS) on LA (Not DX). My goal is a time of 1:40. Which I do think is possible.. Here is the route I have for the moment: (Thx to Maur for this) --> shield --> sword --> +10 rupees from enemies --> -10 rupees trendy game +30 --> -10 yoshi doll, trendy game --> -10 magic powder, trendy game --> -10 rupees trendy game +30 --> seashell #1 --> yoshi doll -> ribbon --> -10 +5 -10 +20 fish game, heart piece #1 --> ribbon -> dog food --> tail key --> heart piece #2, well --> dog food --> bananas --> Tail Cave --> +50 chest in mysterious forest cave --> heart piece #3 --> get bowwow --> +50 chest in middle of swamp --> Bottle Grotto --> +50 re-enter bottle grotto, grab chest --> +50 chest in cave west of bottle grotto --> heart piece #4 inside cave --> get bomb upgrade --> chest with seashell #2 --> return bowwow --> -200 -10 shop, buy shovel, bombs --> exit shop, reenter steal bow + arrows --> dig up seashell #3 --> head east of warp hole, bombarrow rock face --> get seashell #4 under rock --> get seashell #5 outside Seashell House --> get seashell #6 inside Seashell house --> banana -> stick --> koholint castle + golden leaves --> seashell #7 in Richard's house --> slime key --> Key Cavern --> dig up seashell #8 --> heart piece #5 inside cave --> stick -> honey --> honey -> pineapple --> warp hole -> mabe village --> ocarina +100 rupees --> get marin --> seashell #9, outside Tail Cave --> seashell #10 dig oustide cave --> seashell #11 seashell house --> angler key --> fall down, heart piece #6 --> seashell #12 under rock --> heart piece #7 in cave east of animal village --> learn BotWF --> insert key --> pineapple -> flowers --> Angler's Tunnel --> after flipper collection, use the miniboss warp to exit the dungeon --> learn the mambo --> warp hole -> animal village --> flowers -> letter --> seashell #13 on the "bush island" --> seashell #14 in bush --> get arrow upgrade --> play the mambo --> dig up seashell #15 --> get heart piece #8 under grave --> letter -> broom --> Mabe village, broom -> hook --> warp hole animal village --> dig seashell #16 at bridge --> hook -> neckless --> neckless -> seashell --> Catfish's Maw +200 rupees --> jump from water up on bridge --> seashell -> magnifying glass --> face key --> get seashell #17 under statue --> Face Shrine (Get seashell #18 inside) --> mambo warp: skips owl after face shrine --> seashell #18 in tree --> learn frog song of soul --> rooster --> go down to beach, get boomerang --> play mambo song --> seashell #19 in bush east of Key Cavern --> seashell #20 outside koholint castle --> get lvl 2 sword --> heart piece # 9 in water outside koholint castle --> eagle key: jump into pit to exit --> blow wall, heart piece #10 --> get magic powder upgrade --> pass through flamethrower --> wake + pass through turtle head --> Turtle Rock (Getting heart piece #11) --> play the mambo --> Eagle's Tower --> fall down cliff --> heart piece #12 --> Angler's Tunnel --> mambo warp --> Wind Fish Egg Pretty long list but... I would like to hear if it could be improved a bit. I guess that a different Seashell route could be faster. But that's the fastet I've found for the moment
