I think if we are going to do this RIGHT, we should have some standards in place NOW regarding ROM availability. This one is VERY hard to find. Cant someone do this on the U or E Version? I cant watch AVI's at 10x! :) It's odd that this is the only one that is a famicom disk. If we are trying to build an archive here, lets do it right.... Bri

Sleepz tried to make a run of Metal Gear 1, but he found it to be boring and stopped. I never played either to any extent. Personally, I would try part one first, unless the two games are very different.
Well, the only reason I wanna start with metal gear 2 is, I know that game alot better. :)

If I remember correctly, both NES Metal Gear games are quite long but still watchable in one sitting for a timeattack. I personally think both would be pretty cool... -Josh
I care most about metal gear 2, cause it is the only one of those I have played. So I will probaly think about make a time-attack of it.

Umm, do you mean on the Famtasia EMU in FMV format. If so, submit it to Bisqwit as in Submitting to Bisqwit Interest depends on those criteria...oh, and don't worry about time... some of us WILL spend 17 hours to watch games like FF7, were they on NES :)
Well, I think the game could be very fast if you only collect the items needed. And the other thing: I meant I have the original game as a cart. :)

One of the few games I have in the original format. I am not sure if it would fit as a time-attack (boring to watch? too long?). What is your opinion on this?

Btw, speaking of "pausing" and "resuming" production, is there a way to stop recording, close Famtasia, come back later, re-open Famtasia, then continue my .fmv? I'm working on Bucky O'Hare, and I need to take a break...
I am working on bucky o' hare. Don't steall it. :P But there is something weird wrong with my computer, sometimes it just reboot in a middle of me watching a movie. :( Do you know any bugs or glitchs there would be useful for a speedrun / time-attack? Seems a bit dull atm tho. I have the first run of it, but I need to re-record it again. What is your time for it?

Maybe a bucky o' hare or lolo3 time-attack?
I don't know about bucky (never seen that game), but I think lolo3 isn't very interesting. It's interesting to play, but watching it is just about as interesting as watching someone solve a maze.
It is a platform shooter a bit like Megaman and that kind. Here is some shots of it.

Okay, thanks. Now I dunno if I should keep working on my castlevania 3 run. But I don't know what games I should try for. Because I'd like to make a time-attack for a game, I know. Maybe a bucky o' hare or lolo3 time-attack?

Is there any reason why there isn't any time-attacks for this game? Cause I am trying to do my first nesvideo ever, a style demo where I don'¨t get hit, use items or any of the other persons except belmont. But is that a stupid idea for a demo, it is not really the fastest way. I guess it is mostly for myself too. :)
