Luck? There is no "luck" in a TAS. That's just one more thing to be manipulated!

Unless there is a convincing reason to do otherwise the game should be played on the highest difficulty. :)

Bah, I hope you're just joking. He clearly changed his mind based on what was said.... not how loudly it was said.

THIS is exactly what I like about you, Bisqwit. So many times I've seen people ignore everyone else because they were "in charge." You listen to logic, though. I like that. :)

Heck yes! Shame Finnius was never rescued but who needs him when you can abuse acceleration to leap into the stratosphere? :) Too bad most people haven't played this game.... No way to accurately tell them how tough a lot of this game is and how much of it was completely skipped or blown through. Also, I had forgotten how amazingly punny a lot of the game was. I remembered the cheese-name-puns but the enemies.... Johnny Ratten? *groan*

Shame this hasn't gotten more votes, though I myself am guilty of not watching it either. Expect a vote from me very soon when I have time to watch this, as I loved this game. :)

I grew up playing this as well so I would be glad to lend a hand though I'm certain I won't have the time to run this myself. :p

Hell, half the end cast didn't even join the Force in the first place. :p I *loved* how the movie ended on the special "Max kills Dark Dragon" attack! I remember playing through the game myself and seeing that and I was like.... WHOA! SPECIAL ATTACK ANIMATION! SWEET DEAL!

Would equipping the Power Ring to Mae do two things? Allow Mae to kill zombies and such easier? Also, can the Power Ring still be used while it is equipped? Has been a long time since I last played but I'd imagine the answer is yes to both.

From what I remember of the game, it IS possible to manipulate levels. You'd probably have to go to extremes to do so, though. I remember I would save before I was about to level up and if I got bad stats I would shut it off and reload. I don't think you have to shut it off, though, might work in game too. Namely, save&quit, reload, level up. Might be worth it in the long run, though?

Brilliant stuff. Was most enjoyable. I'm glad to see that the TAS lived up to the expectations I had of it. :D Easy yes vote.

I wouldn't bother with extending the input just to push the numbers. Like Truncated said. :) If you could deal with the lag by making non-collection entertaining it would be great. I'd love to see you shoot your head into a pile of pieces, only to miss them all. :)

I'm willing to bet there's an invisible coin block above the block he broke. I find it hard to believe there'd be such a massive oversight when all the rest of the design is so deliberately sadistic.

Of course, knowing you, your next game will be "buck rogers: countdown to doomsday."
Hey, Buck Rogers: Countdown to Doomsday was awesome! Also, Shining Force I and II have been attempted... as of yet nobody has been able to manipulate combat well enough for it to be feasible. And Landstalker was attempted. It's far too long.

Oh, my. Level 12's polevault onto the dinosaur to kill it... You are my hero. This, and the rest of the incredible run scores an easy yes from me.

Excellently done but as the vast majority of the game is merely hyperspace travel, I cannot in good conscience vote anything but 'No'. :(

emu: You've put enough work into this that if you do get around to polishing it, you should most certainly publish it. If I can beat it, I will. ;)

Will be sure to watch this when I have time. I'm sure it'll be thoroughly impressive stuff! Some day I will have time and resume unless someone beats me to the punch! ;)
