Sucks to see just how bad the graphics are emulated with this game... I don't have a solution, all I can do is hope for one.

Substandard run. Others have or will point out the unoptimized parts. Would enjoy an improvement.

Sounds like an RIAA-member label album, so no, I don't know. I don't care if it gets accepted or even submitted here...I'd just like to finish it faster. (and there were autoscroll levels? huh?)

Not sure if I said it, but I found numerous improvements (not including baww-stoppage by ring loss), been too busy with life to do anything about it. I really needed more feedback on this run when it was being made. If I ever get time, I'll work on it again.

Replace the character with a red-capped plumber and it'd be Yes'd to acceptance. People here are so shallow and afraid of things they aren't used to.

The run...it's simply amazing. Your commentary? Clear, concise, correct...there's nothing wrong with it at all. Speaking of the commentary, I thought I'd hate it in the other window. Watching the run I actually prefer it this way - it gives a log that can be read at any pace, and a backlog to read potentially missed entries. Very nice. Amazing dedication. You are an hero.

Editing is broken, so: didn't see post about getting this glitch earlier in the game. Congratulations.

Going all the way to 6-1 or 6-2 just to trigger the glitch seems like a long way to go.

I guess a movie that played to 6-1 and glitched to the credits wouldn't feel like a genuine speed run,
Wow. This is why TASVideos sucks. Yes, it is TAS-worthy. Yes, chopping 10 minutes off of a sub-hour run is impressive. Just because you have this emotional tying to games in that it has to be glitched so that you see either near 0% or near 100% of the run doesn't make this any less worthy.

...the credits sequence was apparently only a visual thing;...So...it's therefore debatable whether use of this glitch is truly "completing the game" or not. :p
Not at all. If I glitch a game without save functionality to the credits, does this count too? Or maybe, internally, the level counter wasn't incremented so it doesn't count. Where do you draw the line? Oh, I know. It's what has been agreed on previously. That is, what is shown on the screen for credits or "the end" IS the end. Simple. Easy. Effective. This run would apply.

It's only slightly better than Mario. At least this has a guy running around in pink underwear punching birds and mushrooms and stuff.

Has nobody mentioned Dune simply because it's assumed everyone has read it already?

I like to follow RPGs along in runs. Xenogears has a fixed text speed that I outread as it is, though. I still think I'd like to see it.

Sorry. You didn't dumb it down enough for the masses to enjoy and derive "entertainment" from. Only Mario runs and games that the popular runners have played are really accepted here. You deserve credit for trying.

Your topic states "How regretful are YOU?". Your post asks for what you are regretful. I regret to inform you that your topic does not at all represent it's title.

Once things progress well enough, since I never got my NES playback device done and got beaten to it by someone else, I can work on a GB playback device.

I got excessive migraines. And I thought Zelda games were bad. Man, this is terrible. The sounds have given me a migraine. I'm surprised I could stand 10 minutes of it. Yoshi's Story is OVER. Let's burn it now.

I wonder how many "No" voters citing game choice vote Yes on, say, a Lolo TAS.

FYI; If you pay Montana Max his requested ransom at the end, he just laughs, takes your gems and fights you anyway.
Yeah, he'd take half, laugh, then you'd still fight him. I maxed out my gems (999) once, paid him, and he still laughed...so next time I maxed them out and didn't pay him as a challenge. Ah, the simple days... I'm really busy but I'd like to work on this or collaborate. If you make any progress, please post.

This, and Super Mario Land, were my first videogames. I've wondered why nobody has yet run it...maybe I should?

It's called desync. The emulator isn't working deterministically. Why are you using ZSNES?

Wow...really? The first version had an installer for Win but it still just ran the DOS version. When BNE came out I played the hell out of that, and even now, so many years later, some of my maps are still popular on Bnet...
